Everything in Japan is done with thought, precision, and perfection. Japanese food is an art that appeals to all your senses. The way she cooks brings tranquility to your heart.

By perfection, you refer to raw egg and grossly undercooked beef that's supposed to be rare/medium rare?

Weaaaabboooo spotted. This guy think Japanese people are like Pokemon, magical. No even bother to try and understand Japanese culture and its history. Nope their just Pokemon, everything about them is magic.

@@denniscrider3776 It's laughable that you westerners educating us Asian about food safety while you all eat shitty fast food every day, we have been eating raw eggs for many years, we grade and select the eggs and chicken to prevent food poisoning, so keep your bullshit to yourself.

The barbarous and unrefined western taste buds cannot appreciate the sublime art of the delicate and far superior cuisine of Shinshu. This is partly the result of the mindless “entertainment” that westerners think they are watching during WCW or their inferior Disney “animation.”

I can clarify on using raw egg for that wagyu beef, since beef is cooked in a high temperature, the oil around that piece of beef burns your mouth if you eat directly from the pan, so to avoid that consequences and to eat beef in warm temperature, raw egg is sort of barrier and cool down beef simultaneously, and of course it add favors too

I wondering if I can call it a type of art, combined with visual, taste and olfactory, also performance art.
Watching how the food was be cooked, not only you just eat it.
Maybe that’s why many people likes Japanese food, especially the traditional one.

The little green and orange thingy she put under the stove is a nice touch.
I ate sukiyaki some time ago, but the table was slightly leaning to one side, so after a while we realized that a side of the pot had basically no liquid and some stuff got a bit burnt

Your shyness comes from cultural conditioning. My advice is that you explore things out of your comfort zone, just a little at a time. Having a "strange girl" cook in front of you is a 21st century reality. You either progress with time, or become lost in oblivion.

raw egg as such it is gross, but it is perfect match with rare beef, greecy kobe beef! Anhus beef is also nice matching with raw egg sauce. take a try! its very very simple, just put sliced beef, and pour soy source and fine brown granule sugar on the grill, cook just one minute, and dunk in the raw egg sauce. Enjoy!

    Sukiyaki.
It's all because of you I'm feelin' sad and blue
You went away, now my life is just a rainy day
I love you so, how much you'll never know
You've gone away and left me lonely
Untouchable memories seem to keep haunting me
Of love so true, that once turned all my gray skies blue
But you disappeared, now my eyes are filled with tears
I'm wishin' you were here with me
Soft with love are my thoughts of you
Now that you're gone, oh, I don't know what to do
If only you were here, you'd wash away my tears
The sun would shine, and once again you'd be mine, all mine
But in reality, you and I will never be
'Cause you took your love away from me, oh
If only you were here, you'd wash away my tears
The sun would shine, and once again you'd be mine, all mine
But in reality, you and I will never be

In Japan, you have to learn standing knees because that Japan's traditional style and i tried standing my knees 1 hours and i couldn't stand up by 15 min and it's really hurt

I've made this a few times in the past, and although I am normally a huge fan of Japanese cuisine and this dish is actually quite delicious, I do have to wonder about certain aspects of it. The preparation of it is incredibly tedious, inefficient and time-consuming. I imagine in order to feed a larger family it would take quite some time cooking everything in stages for each individual person. Additionally, this is probably just a personal preference, but what is the benefit of dipping the food in raw egg? I tried it a couple times and it added literally nothing to it, save for an unpleasant slimy texture that I know the Japanese are fond of, but I still can't seem to understand it myself. I really wanted to like it with the raw egg but it contributed no flavor whatsoever. Still, the process of preparing this dish is very therapeutic and methodical, as are many dishes in Japan. Very nice video.

It does not take time. In addition, there are plenty of arrangements and time-saving recipes, in short, those posted by individuals to cooking sites and TH-cam, and various cookbooks ... it's probably the same in your country must. Regarding eggs, there are many types of eggs, brands, and some eggs that have no flavor. I think you've probably used an unflavored or light-flavored egg to make this dish. In Japan, eggs with no flavor are not used for such dishes. Of course, carefully selected eggs that match well with soups, vegetables, meat, etc. and their mixed taste are very delicious. I have commented a lot, but what is clear about the taste is ... when you come to Japan and eat this food at a restaurant ...

The way I was taught to make Sukiyaki sauce - One part Soy Sauce, One part Water, One part Sugar, One part Mirin or Sake. Boil it to cook off the alcohol and use that.
