Except now it doesn't work because he can tank the damage after being anti.
The only thing that really kills hog is actually discord which got nerfed too. So yeah, pretty strong tank in a meta without Mauga.

@@fennectempest1590won't matter to much unless he's unplayable. His whole kit is just a fuck hog button. Double mini guns on a fat ass target like hog? He'll be perma on fire so constant crits, plus he's self healing through all that? He's just really good against hog.

Honestly, while Roadhog is mostly fine now, his ease of healing and lack of counterplay is probably what rocketed him up to a 54% WR, I can see them nerfing breather to like a 2 second cooldown instead of 1, it wouldn't change much but would give a slightly longer window of opportunity to try to kill him by stunning out of breather.
Mauga will keep roadhog in check that's probably why they don't nerf him this patch despite the high win rate

@Golden_Zeke Bro it is a single second of extra delay between healing, grow up lol. Tracer's blinks recharge slower than that I'm pretty sure.

It always feels like people in QP are trying much harder than comp imo
I’ve been saying for years that Mei is a pseudo tank. Not only is her cryo freeze a crowd control tank like weapon but she has ice berg which cleanses herself and makes her invulnerable for like 5 seconds and heals her but her wall is just straight up a pseudo tank ability (not a shield but something for map control) and she’s always had at least 250 hp, in comparison to her hit box it’s tank level. On top of that she also has a sniper shot added on to make her a “DPS”.
That’s what the mid hp dps are friend. Bastion, reaper, Torb, mei. They’re all like mini fake tanks with decent sustain

i just picked up roadhog after the rework, i am still wondering how do you do the hook + 1 shot on squishes? i always fail to kill them

As someone who reguarly picks hog, I can confirm that I am sleeped every 14 seconds. I’ve never been sleeped so much in the many years I’ve been playing this game.

Something inside me makes me happy to see Orisas getting slaughtered. It's not that i hate the character, I just hate how i was so easily outmatched by her regardless of who i picked or how much/less skill the Orisa player had.

Roadhog aint gonna be meta when mauga shows but even now its mostly cause of suzu 110 on cleanse, On another note i vsed that celestial person a few times/theyve been on my team and i absolutely despite sojourn as a character
