A quick little video discussing some of the bare necessities of the olympus OM-1 system. Some more complete thoughts will be featured in a later video so stay tuned!
Hi, thanks for the videos. My om1 also facing the same issues on shutter, mine was relevantly accurate on 1s. Would you mind to make a videos which part to check on it? I can’t found any relevant videos on it. Thanks
Hey I was just curious what equipment you use to test your shutter speeds? I’m having trouble finding one, What do you think about the Alvandi shutter speed tester?
I've tried a couple methods, there is the "build your own" with a arduino board, laser module and light receptor but the problem with a lot of the more inexpensive models is their accuracy at the faster speeds is limited. The one I have I got off ebay for around 600 smackers and it works really well, I just haven't made a video about it yet but in a case like this I'd say spend a little more to get a really good thing rather than buy a bunch of things that will kind of work if that makes sense.
Great video friend! Your confidence and dedication is very inspiring!
I appreciate that dude! Hope all is going well with you!
I recently bought an Olympus pen F. Probably the only Olympus slr I'll ever buy tbh.
I'm tempted to try out an OM-3 but not going to go too far out of my way for that, the Pen F is a pretty great little camera, I hope you like it!
I need to remove the self-timer lever on my OM-1. How do I do that? The black cover has two holes but it isn’t threaded. Thanks.
