been watching your tiktoks for ages but man your long form content is just as informative and well edited! you are the man, im more of an action figure guy so im curious what your favorite star wars action figure line is? mine has to be the 3.75 clone wars line in 2008 so nostalgic!
I remember getting a present leading up to the phantom menace that was an odd double bladed, telescoping lightsaber. I doubt it was an official star wars product but it had a very small grey hilt with two black telescoping blades on either end that i think clasped into place when retracted and could be released by sliding a red, rectangular button.
My dad was contracted to clear out a house that had a fire, and on the first day before anything had been touched, he and I went into the garage and had a look at what we could salvage. The whole place had a pungent and headache inducing aroma of melted plastic and various other combusted materials. I found a box of toys, stuffed animals, and the original 1999 Darth Maul double bladed lightsaber. Picking up a hotwheel and an action figure, they seemed totally ruined by the chemical stench coming off of them. But the lightsaber, it seemed to only slightly carry the scent on it. So that was the only thing I kept, and I loved it for years. My parents would not have spent the money to buy me a new one, the cheaper Obi-Wan lightsaber is all they could get me. But now I had two, and I could duel with my friends!
Figures that they would wait until two weeks after you publish this to drop a new Disney Store toy version. :-) I haven't started adding the older toy sabers to the Saber Finder database yet, but if you'd be interested in helping compile all the archival data on those, I'd love to chat!
i got a question for anyone who knows the answer. basically what i want to do is get the electronic forge darth maul saber and also the non electronic one, remove the half of the electronic one that has the markings, and replace that half with the non electronic saber. basically ending up with one side being electronic and the other not. is this possible?
bonus question: if this is possible, would it also be possible that the ignition button on the non electric half can press the button on the inside and activate the saber, just like the electric half
my family had a phantom menace era toy saber where two little levers near the emmiter swung in to hold the fully retractable blades in. I believe we also had one of lukes saber from return of the jedi but i could be wrong about the second one.
Can you or anyone tell me if the Darth Maul Neopixel lightsabers have 2 proffieboards installed? So one in each hilt? You can take it apart and use it as two lightsabers. Logically, two boards should be installed, right? I'm surprised because a Darth Maul lightsaber costs almost as much as a normal one with just one blade/hilt
I actually have one that's not in this video It is from hasbro and has fully retractable blades (not transparent) and it has two buttons to realease the blades (as in: if you don't push the button, you needed to swing it around with a Lot of force or it wouldn't expand) Sadly mine broke in two years ago... it went through heavy use xD
Wasn't there one in 2012 that was released for the clone wars that was able to retract all the way into the hilt? I remember having that one as a kid I could probably find a box art
im really glad you made a entire video dedicated to darth mauls lightsabers! If i had darth mauls toy lightsaber i would use it every time it was dark

Love this series, the backstories are so interesting too. Can't wait for the next one man :)
More to come! Thanks for watching!

Hasbro would re-release that 1999 one several times. I got mine in 2007. Released under the 30th Anniversary line.
Great video. Would love to see a history in Anakin or Vader’s lightsabers in the future
On the list…
@@anelegantweapon Is Dooku's lightsabers on the list, perhaps?

Hmmmm..good question. I shall investigate.
@@anelegantweapon 🙂🙏🏼
That’s so cool. You should do lightsaber collections more especially for character lightsabers.
I do my best, but unfortunately, there are only so many character toy version lightsabers available.
I had the Hasbro one. I loved it so much, but my friends broke it in half during a furious duel.
Did they do it for purpose?
@@shadowflower1983 It broke by accident.
@@thomaspappalardo7589The 1999 or 2012 led version? There's a new £35 one in Disney store with removable blade
could you do obi-wan's saber evolution? i find these videos very interesting and fun to watch

Love your videos
I hope you one day make a vedio about your star wars movie opinions
Great video
The 2012 lightsaber can be joined together with a second one to make his doibke bladed version.
are you doing this for any other characters?
Yep, gonna make a series of it.

Could you give me one of your collection please😢😊 .
At last, we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last, we'll have revenge.
Isn't that his one and only line from the phantom menace.?

I remember getting the first Darth Maul lightsaber for my birthday by my grandparents as a kid. Its a core memory
Darth Maul has the best red lightsaber.
Best double bladed red lightsaber.
There is also Maul’s 8 bladed lightsaber from Lego Star Wars 😅
This my shit right here
You forgot about the 2011 darth maul hasbro plastic retractible lightsaber

My friend is selling me the 2012 extendable one for £15!
Good deal.
Just saw at Walmart a Sabine’s lightsaber
Just released! Haven’t seen it in Canada yet.
