Thank you very much . Please always follow and support us!
Good practical restoration of a vise that's now ready for another lifetime of service. very Good!
Not a "perfect" restoration, not an American vise. There are no markings on the vise, so that means it is a generic Chinese vise. You cleaned it up to make it functional. For that you did a good job. You shouldn't use clickbait titles.
No he said perfect restoration you’ve never seen, cause we never see it!
Ya, this is painting project
Today I found a vice it is called American scale red seal number 66 made in Kansas City, Missouri. I’d like to see him restore that 156 pounds of American steel.
great job I am sure this will come in handy.
that is not restauration, that is cleaning
Clever man looks great
fantasic job you guys are great
Great project, you gave the vise a new life. In
Did a good job.

Congratulations, good Job
Bravo
nice vice.
Looks nice!!
Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Another awesome job
Sweet 👍🏻 👍🏻
Lovable restoration 🤝👏🤝👏
Cool project 👍great job buddy as always 👍
I have had this vice bolted to my workbench for years. Maybe I should clean it up🙂
First 1:30 min were my favorite 😍 so satisfying
Watching this guy bang and bend the base swivel bolts I cannot help but wonder, why don't they ever put a pipe, or as we used to call, A cheater bar on it?
I think I have that vice on my work bench 😅
You can't be putting up best restoration skills and put out sub par workmanship in direct comparison to other resto vlogger with stellar skills
It’s perfect for Asia.
Show 👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌😊😊🇧🇷
That's just a strip and re-paint (including some surfaces that should be metal to metal). Cleaning with a rotary wire gets the rust off, but burnishes the surface, thus paint won't adhere to it very well. Blasting leaves a rough surface finish which is excellent for painting. I missed the "Perfect Restoration Skills You've Never Seen", what were those?
Thanks for watching and supporting me. I really appreciate it! Thank You Very Much!!!
Not a good job - if others are interested in restoring a vice properly: 1) Spray penetrating oil and leave it to soak, especially screws / bolts you want that oil down the threads to make removal easy 2) You don't want paint on metal-on-metal moving surfaces (eg the rotating base, or the main vice part that moves in and out with jaw width) you need bare metal well greased both for easier operation and long term protection 3) Mask areas like #2 and internal thread holes so they don't get paint when spray-painting 4) Never use a cutting disc to grind, you are asking for the disc to break and pieces fly off super-fast and hurt someone or damage something.
Exelente trabajo...saludos desde México
Very nice restoration - looks almost brand new.
Great job, looks awesome! 👍👍👊
Super conservative with that spray!
To all you commenters saying this was not a good restoration. Please link us to all your restoration videos showcasing your superior skills........
I'll wait....
I don't waste my time posting videos andi know my skills. And I don't try to BS people!!!
I’m always suspicious when someone says in the title “perfect restoration.” This is a very nice clean up and restoration but I wouldn’t call it perfect. Still a good job but be careful when you use words that don’t accurately represent what you do.
The casting quality of that vise is horrible, now I see why mine has bondo on it. But you took a vise damaged in a fire and brought it back to life.
Not good restoration you must be used liquar putty to treat the surface of vise
COMO MANTENIMEINTO, LIMPIEZA Y PINTURA, ESTA BIEN, PERO NO ES UN RESTAURACION, FAVOR DE NO CONFUNDIR LOS TERMINOS, YA QUE LA RESTAURACION, SIGNIFICA DEJAR EL TORNILLO, COMO SI ACABARA DE SALIR DE UNA TIENDA, Y LA PINTURA Y LIMPIEZA, NO SON LAS CONDICIONES DE ESTA
DE CUALQUIER MANERA, COMO MANTENIMEINTO TODAVIA LE FALTARON ALGUNAS COSAS
Cheap China vice not mad in the US. nice clean up.
I apologize for the mistake if I did in this restore!!! Thanks for watching and supporting me. Thanks a lot!!!
No! Not a flap...!
Would suggest this is neglected not vintage. That split pin was too fresh.
Thank you for watching my video
Good clean up of a generic vice. Not a perfect restoration by any means and I’ve seen much better skills on other channels; but a good clean up that will give that vice many more years of service.
These is a neglected vice but not a vintage vice. But good job.
American Vise? Chinese Vise..
Staged...this vise was barely used. What did you do buy one and drop it in a river to make a restoration vid? 👎
I don't think if it's a perfect restoration, disassemble, removed the rust, paint and assemble...
So much wrong with this video. Looks like the comments managed to catch all of them.
lol.....what a clickbait title...and the " skills you've never seen ".....bwahahaha
Thanks for watching and supporting me. I really appreciate it! Thank You Very Much!!!
@@restorationsskills4967 ...one and only time bud....never again
It's still junk
Ur Not A Professional Restorator
Bad Restoration
Looks like a Chinese knockoff. Also it isn’t too old if it has Philips head screws on the jaws and a cotter pin on the worm screw.
