    I love that every time a fish eats your rod goes “thwack”

    • @Highonfishing

      That's the best way to do it. Got to make the satisfying sound

    Great video! Making me jealous since I'm still waiting on my shipment of sleeper gills.

      Yeah you are definitely lucky to get them! The demand for them is insane! Hope you get them soon and you can catch some giants! The shop I bought them from sold out in a day.

      @@Highonfishing If anyone REALLY wants one, they have them on Ebay for $23 a bait. A little too rich for my blood

      Lol, people try and make money on all the Megabass stuff like that. It's a good bait but not worth paying extra for it. Should be all over stores in a few months

    Nice video. I wish I had a pond like that around me. I have a Tatula 6'8" medium spinning rod I love, very light and balanced. What is the length and power of your Tatula casting rod and how do you like it? I was thinking about buying one for casting. Thanks.

    • @Highonfishing
      @Highonfishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good ponds are hard to find. I like the Tatula casting rods a lot and have a few of them. The one in this video was a 7'1" heavy jig rod. They are solid rods for the money and i definitely recommend them.

    I loved the dark sleeper, until a bass ate the tail off. Need to get one of these new baits ASAP

      Lol, good luck finding them. The shop i work at is already sold out, next shipment should be in the fall

    Nice reel, I bought the SV instead but wouldn't mind getting the elite at some point.

    • @Highonfishing
      @Highonfishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah both are nice. I like the big handles on the pitch and flip. Really let's you get some good power, it has a shallow spool tho so it's best for only flipping and pitching lol. I love it tho

    I have one of each color except for the pink and chartreuse one since the shop didn’t have any

    • @Highonfishing
      @Highonfishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah those colors are the hardest to find, Megabass didn't ship hardly any. They are all good colors though!

    Nice fish. But most not two pounds. 1.75. Maybe 1.65 range

    • @Highonfishing
      @Highonfishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Idk about that, next time i can put them on the scale tho so i can make sure I'm telling the truth. It's hard to tell on videos. But the big one i actually did weigh and it was a 3.90 if that tells you anything.

    • @Twangtown7
      @Twangtown7 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@MAX99999 You can't tell how much a fish weighs by seeing it on video. Also, you have no idea how big dude's hands are, so your second theory definitely gets thrown out the window.

    • @Twangtown7
      @Twangtown7 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@MAX99999 So you can differentiate a 1.75 lb bass from a 2 lb bass?? On video even? Lol, GTFO.

    Just a copy of the Berkeley gilly.

    • @Highonfishing
      @Highonfishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sort of, the gilly you can rig however you want. The Sleeper Gill is pre rigged as a bottom hopping swim bait. They both have their advantages and disadvantages.

      Not really, The Gilly is a copy of the Bull Flat tho
