Update everyone ordered these March 1 they came today. Got two for 229 with the discounts i I think know you can get 2 for about 280 with the discounts on the site. I got a pair of these a while ago thanks to this video. Does anyone know if there are different settings for how they are mounted? (totem/upsidedown/sideways) i’m using them on a speaker pole on an o-clamp sideways.

I may consider getting these. Been looking for a somewhat affordable moving head. I'm also considering the Both 200 watt moving head. I love their up lights. Let me know if you know or have heard anything about the Both Moving heads (BO-MH200S). Keep up the great work and content!

I ordered a pair from Betopper. They offer a discount too. I usually use the WashFX2. Hope I’m happy with these.
How did you find the lights?
I saw a review and bought them straight from company. They are pretty good. No totem mode, so you better have some sorta DMX software.

I'm from England, here "how did you find something" is asking what you think about it not where you actually got it from. Sorry for confusion. I have no dmx experience, I'm thinking to buy a controller rather than software tho I think I'd rather have actual hardware on the desk I think.
do they have totem mode? I just watched your video about the Chauvet 260. I still have the intimidator 150, but it is time to upgrade since I bought my colorkey 8' lighting stand
I prefer to have a RGBAW-UV light. Ive had a few clients complain when doing color mixing on RGB lights. Very Affordable !
And that’s ok too. My uplights are all rgbaw-uv which in my experience is where they complain. They don’t typically care about the dance lighting.

The complain about how the lights project on the walls or if the lights don’t project the specific color they want.

ive got 4 betopper par lights and those things can seriously throw alot of light out . Btw will gig logs ever return like you used to do ?
Possibly...they just take a lot of work and the payoff is generally small. I still shoot content on every event. It's just sitting there lol.

If added to a wash fx2 set up is that "wash" over kill?
I have the wash fx2 light, It's not overkill if programmed correctly. Like with sound switch, you can make one set of lights primary, and the other secondary so they all do different things.
What about those cheap disco lights on Amazon or they any good In your opinion.
I haven't really used any. They contact and I always say no. They still have to look good on my events first.

With lights like these you’re better off finding something even cheaper.
The failure to merge the diodes into a few lenses that all change color together is embarrassing in 2022. It’s understandable maybe in 2010 but not in this day and age.
There are cheaper moving lights that do this. For example there are cheap lixada moving washes on amazon for under $90 each.
The problem with cheap lights like these is they’ll probably last less than 2 years. So if you’re looking for cheap, might as well go cheaper for something that looks better.
Lights like these are mass produced and then a sticker is plastered on there with a company logo, but the basic light is the same.
For example, that lixada light on amazon i mentioned earlier is sold by other companies in the US that market it as a better light (even though it’s exactly the same) and sell it for $300.
I've had my cheap stag headbangers for 10 years now. Still going strong.
People have had the diodes dying very quickly in these lights.
Dont buy these lights.. There is an RGB version that is way better and legit the same price. We were repping the RGB version in venues back in 2014. Nothings changed. I cant believe they would even sell these with separate r-g-b diodes in 2022
