Finally got around to watching this and I have to say I'm still blown away at how well this writing is and actually feels like something that could be happening behind the scenes. Keep up the great work I'm enjoying this fictional drama series.
18:22 YOOOOO THAT LPS REFERENCE IS CRAZY, YOU KNOW SOME STUFF (if you know you know)
The dystopian atmosphere of these is hopefully just part of the fiction, but it does give quite a bit of behind the scenes menace. Very good story, and a good example of how AI can be used to make interesting projects.
I love how Salty Omega is at the end of this but they also aren't wrong regarding the lesson of "the boss got rid of their most profitable talent before, you aren't untouchable". Its surprisingly balanced perceptive wise.
Another good episode. I meant to only watch a bit initially and the rest later and ended up not able to put it down.
I really liked seeing Ina and her conversation with Gura, and how later on that added to Gura's pressure as her mental state deteriorated, from all the pressure from managers to her parents and how she believes they feel to the stalker incident and to even the secret boyfriend thing at the end, the kind of thing any idol keeps quiet in fear of how their audience will react. All to lead to Gawr almost taking over until Amelia showed up due to her mental state taking so much of a beating.
I did also like how Gawr was going more power over Gura the more the pressure beat her down, taking advantage of her weakness like when she took control and threatened Omega.
As a side note too, I liked how we see Kiara practicing really hard, obviously effected by the Tokyo Ambassador thing. Omega as well kept up her intimation well, trying to control Gura in her usual manner.
Great work all around. I'll be looking forward to episode 3.
(Edit: Forgot to mention but I looked back at some scenes and like you can see bits of red in Gura's hair at parts, indications that Gawr is having a growing influence on her.)
This is insanely good writing.
can't wait to see where the story goes from this
Yep.. glad I subbed. That was great
Well done. I appreciate the effort you put into this. Freaking 30 minutes? The absolute madman.
huh.
Interesting.
Not gonna lie, 0:05 zoom sound effect gave me a heart attack.
is it just me or does ame seem like she knows something
I love the agressive hiss/growl garw gives off it shows the full other side of the spectrum where they want the same thing but have different ways to go about it
ina so cute !
So, what part of their lore is part of this? I’m asking cause it’s how I see the story. Are they JUST vtubers, people that use an anime avatar? Or is their avatar what they look like in this story’s real life? This is especially interesting with the lore of Ina and Gura, so I’m guessing this is taking the approach of blurring the lines between their reality and their lore to make an interesting story?
That's a good question. It's really good but have a feeling there's some truth in it as well.
I think it's more like a psychological drama using the avatars as stand-ins for the real people in Hololive.
I cannot wait for the next one!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
Oh no... Ame again had to solve all problems.
I love the references to LPS.
LPS doesn't stand for Littlest Pet Shop... right?
