You realize that this is all a fantom reality that never existed. Nobody ever remembered your birthday, your parents died 30 years ago, you’re 93 years old with no friends or surviving family to share it with you. You cry in bed and wish for the old times. Life is just fading away you don’t see your loved ones as often, feeling depressed you look out the window. You are restrained to a bed and a breathing tube. Doomed to forget everything in your late stage dementia. You think about your late wife and your kids. i like how we all were entranced by the original release of the album at the sametime, and the caretaker's music exploded on the internet with a huge subculture on youtube. you dont see a random project on the internet set the world ablaze like that even if it was short lived. i think the caretaker is something to be archived, its creation and creations are now apart of the internets identity unofficially.
Whether it's Everywhere at the End of Time or fan projects like Nowhere at the Millennium of Space, the songs symbolize what we or the future will always try to do: Find something, solace, memories of the bygone eras, something lost a long time ago. For me it's not just about facing the horrors of forgetting that you forgot, but knowing all things will come to an end eventually, that life is short and fragile but beautiful at the same time.

You look around and see what's making the noise you pick up her cold, dry, hairy, malnourished arms and put her back in the circle of what used to be your family members. The four of you are back... Somethings missing. You go over to where a knocked over bottle of detergent is and pick up a dirt covered party hat with it's frizzles almost gone. You put it back on her head and smile as you watch them, all wearing party hats. You go back upstairs, lock the door and turn on your show.
Left to rot, cannot scream, quiet, you can feel your conscience holding on to reality. You want it to end. You are trapped to eternally be left to your own thoughts. nobody to talk too. Pitch black, endless.
As a person, I can see that I rot on my bed, can't scream for dreaming, sleeping makes pitch black, feels like my soul left my body. I feel like I win here.

Libet's Delay was sampled from Russ Morgan's "Goodnight, My Beautiful" and strangely enough, EATEOT Stage 3's "Back There Benjamin" sounds almost like the original. In a way, this track is the part that people wished was longer.
