When you talk about your mental health struggles I SO relate!! Aside from meds and therapy, doing the last thing I want to do is the first thing I have to do to turn those days around even a little. Thanks for putting it out there, it’s helps break down those stereotypes. ✊🏻
I love your "Be Kind" tee! I always get emotional when I see people packing/moving haha. But I am so excited for you and the new house! // depression is so painful and anxiety intensifies it even more. I'm going to try to remember to write down the things that trigger me now, and thank you for all of your advice on that. It can feel very lonely.

I still have my CDs I've made😂. I struggle with servere anxiety, but I've been having to push through it for the past few weeks while my husband has been away to school for his commercial driver's license training. It does get hard sometimes, but I watch my girls on TH-cam and get motivated to get stuff done!😊 I thank you for that! Also, good luck with the move and I'm so happy about the pregnancy!💕
Thanks so much for the talk! I’ve been snapping at everyone in my house for like 2 months. I snap every now and then but these past 2 months with moving and working from home full time since March with 2 kids (4 and 2) it has been the worst it’s ever been. I think I just got to my breaking point. I’ve been trying to find a way to do something to snap me out of it and I think I will give writing my “Happy Moments” down so I can try to bring myself around. Hi Lynn, I really enjoyed watching this vid 😊 I have struggled with generalised anxiety, major depression for 30 years and I have never thought of writing down the things that bring you happiness/make you feel better so you can refer back to them on bad days. I just try my best to get all the things done but this can be so difficult and exhausting when you're battling your own mind, so thank you for this suggestion I'm definitely going to give it a try! When I got married in 1982 my sister's husband recorded the whole event on VHS and after 25 years of marriage I finally had it and some others converted to DVD, just in time for Thumb Drives to come in. Now it's all mp3. Eye roll.
I’m from the “record player era”, then 8 tracks, cassette tapes, and cd’s. I JUST learned this week about bluetooth speakers for my Iphone. I asked my daughter how do I plug it in… She laughed called me a dork and proceeded to explain it to me. Who knew!?… I am a dork…lol

Haha anyone else here remember Napster and burning CDs of all the music you downloaded? I DO LOL. But I remember taping off the radio before that on my boom box or taping off of my friends stuff on a double deck. The WORST was when you wore out your tape and it made that horrible *crunch* 😬 or even worse...when you forgot to break the tab thing off the cassette tape and accidentally recorded over something good. 😳 My kids have no idea about any of that lol...but my 15 y/o daughter is suddenly obsessed with vinyl records, which makes me super proud! ❤️

Use to burn CD's and DVD's all the time... keep the blank disc's as they work well in the garden to keep the critters and birds away .. that's where all our disc's have gone too. When I was younger I remember my mom selling everything she could so when we had to move it wasn’t that much stuff..then especially since sometimes we didn’t know the new place, once there she would buy the new furniture we needed...
I am planning on moving in a few years and I am so excited to move that I keep decluttering my space and I already have certain things I don't use like knick knacks and old memories all packed away already. I am seeming to have a hard time getting rid of certain items that hold memories.
Yeah i struggle with dark cloud days too, ive identified a few triggers and unfortunately one is like my natural cycle/hormone levels at a certain point i have real natural low and very easy for me to feel awful physically mentally emotionally its all foggy and hard to concentrate and its like i cant see the truth for the shadows around me so i try to just wait it out dostract myself and work on keeping my light bright. But on the other hand around ovulation/fertility time i have SO much energy and general like awake alert motivated hope so noe that i recognise that i can plan to be more selfish and focus on being loving and more inward during the dark cloud days and i feel like natural and not bad cause im like yes this is my designated time to rest and heal and i leave a lot of relaxing resting activities like reading watching tv etc til that time and the fertility energy time i focus on doing as much physical and mental expending things as possible really focus on the outward and doing so has really helped get me in tune with my bodies natural rhythm and seasons and remind myself theres a time for sowing and a time for reaping and sometimes i just wont have the energy or ability to do certain things and thats okay because there time will come and i should focus on enjoying now and doing what i can now. 💖💪🕊
There is nothing better to declutter than a house move. You will be living in youre rental place very short. You will see it will be less worse than expected.

When you get tired during the process, take a short break and tell yourself it’s temporary and you will be moved by Saturday. Then you can slowly unpack at the rental. I suffer from depression. I lost my first husband when our son was 6 months old. It's been 16 years since he's been gone. And I had some health problems. I just went though a 5 week spell. I had another cancer scare. Thankfully I'm ok. I alway think of those who don't get blessed, who get the bad news. Always on my mind, in my heart.

Hey Lynn, I'm praying for you dear. If you could squeeze some time into looking at the Life Change Index Scale (Stress Test) you'll see that Moving is high on the list of major life stressors. So is a change in responsibilities, having a baby, and construction projects! Girl, if you're crying and sad this is your way of expressing huge amounts of stress you've been under for a long time. And I will tell you: even though the change is POSITIVE you can also go through a grieving process because you are losing something--a beautiful home. I pray the Lord help you wherever needed. Get plenty of prayer, praise, water, nutrition and rest. You're carrying a baby honey. Allow yourself PLENTY of grace. We love you.
FYI: we asked the Appliance Showroom how they keep the floor vignettes haw are kept so shiny.so, they shared... WD-40 & Pledge in a can! Well .. now we know has to get them sooo shiny and w/prints! Yeah!! Congrats on the house. To bad you couldn’t rent the sold house till your New ine is ready! Would save double moving! My sister did that when in Utah... she sold the house to another Doctor at the the University of Utah Hospital. She then was able to pack w/o rushing as she and hubby & toddler were coming home to NM!! Yeah! Sometimes the buyer will work kut moving out day w/ you. Ie due to pregnancy you just can’t seem to feel well enough to pack everything and get out. Just ask if you could pay them rent to get extra time to finish the ps king. Good luck & congrats on the little Miss to Stay safe & healthy! We’re a mask! It will save lives .. they may be you & your families!! M
Is your wooden chopping board dishwasher safe? They usually arent and have to be handwashed so thats awesome if it is! I've ruined a couple by absentmindedly putting them in the dishwasher 😭

I just had to go through all my 3 plus stacks of blank CDS and thank god i put them all in the computer because at least 5 werent labelled! It took forever haha hundreds of cds later i got tendonitis in my trigger finger from cd holding 😂😂😂 they still sell blank cds weirdly enough! So i may try donate mine but idk if anyone would actually want them let alone buy some from like 2005 when they can buy brand new ones for like 10dollars or so.

sharpie is also soluble in acetone! So, most nail polish removers should work really well!

Rubbing alcohol gets Sharpie off of things brilliantly! That's why using the Dry Erase marker works. It contains alcohol. Acetone works, as well.👍
