  • Dedicated to lifelong learning and anchored by our rich collections, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History engages our diverse community through creative, vibrant programs and exhibits interpreting science and the stories of Texas and the Southwest.
The facility, designed by famed architects Legoretta + Legoretta of Mexico City, is 166,000 sq. ft. of engaging gallery space. The Museum holds DinoLabs and DinoDig, Innovation Studios, the Children’s Museum, Energy Blast, and the Cattle Raiser’s Museum. The Havener Gallery provides a space for changing exhibits and attendance has grown to over 500,000 guests annually since construction.
Although its name, location, size, and scope have changed dramatically since 1941, the Museum still serves a similar purpose: to provide an extraordinary learning environment to the community.

I remember attending what I used to call "the museum school" in 1969-1970. Fun memories. Whenever I think of the word dinosaur, one of the images in my head is a memory a display here. It was the skeleton of a predator standing over another dino skeleton. I am 57yo.

My daughter was at the exhibit about 1988 on an elementary school field trip, she took a photo of what sounds like the same display. I have been organizing old photos and came across this one.
