@seanellis4878 I like the dash use since it can "read" your opponent. I think lunging strike could auto track them possibly?? That would make chains really a death sentence 💀
@@Drew-im7is idk if its just me but my lunging strike never seems to auto-snap. my barb literally just lunging strikes in place while my opponent runs away. idk if its lag or what but I really never had success with it in PvP.
There are so little info on barb pvp. I’m currently lv100 with pretty max out smog reduc gear. Doesn’t have much problem in the pvp however tb or flurry rogue will just melt my face in a split second….any solve? Thx
Lets make this the Barb PvP channel then! In my experience, that is your hardest match-up. Most rogues will just play evasively until they KNOW your cooldowns are up, then they will engage you when you have nothing up. Using iron skin with the legendary aspect gives you even more seconds of unstoppable and allows you to fill the gap. With cooldown reduction, you can permanently have unstoppable up between rallying cry and iron skin. If you are unable to do that at the moment, I like to pop all my buffs EXCEPT For rallying cry, I keep that for when they use their knock-downs. Good luck
Try this against those running rogues - Outburst(1)->Tough as Nails(1) then Hamstring (3). They will slow themselves down 30%. Sure it may proc your exploit glyph but you will be able to chase them down. If you are running chains you can reapply vuln. You can also run 2 hand sword expertise to apply Hamstring.
I noticed that evading into attacks makes the animation quicker on Rogue as well. Interested to see if this tech can be applied to different things on every class.

Great trick for Steel Grasp. I don't PvP but have you tested Ancients Oath? That sword increases Steel Grasp by quite a lot, increases chains, increases skill and slows
Im having a problem with my barb build. Im endgame geared and followed robs paragon tree and use the quake mechanic but i have never seens anything above a 12-15k critnwith hota. My renown isnt maxed so im missing those points and my glyphs are all lvl 17. Is that really whats making the difference?
@@seanellis4878 440 crit dmg 350 vuln 40% crit about 8-900 other dmg only about 880 str 9058 armor 14k life Does the final points in glyphs really make that big of a difference? Same with those final paragon points? Those are the only places i can see to max my char out more. My weps are both 818 IP. I have never seen a 60mill crit. Idk wth im doing wrong.
@@THINKSOIAM all paragon points help for sure. also use the potion that either gives 50 max fury, or more crit damage. I've never had a 60 mill crit either, but i've def had some 40's
As a player like its cool and all but we shouldn’t have to rely on the dash to be able to slam. Blizz should fix this asap. I tried steel grasp 5-6 times everytime its so clunky ive switched back to other skills
totally agree! fingers crossed for a buff in the future. It's especially annoying because its a pretty great way to apply vuln, but if you dont dash-cancel it, you lose almost half of the vuln time just due to the end lag
@@seanellis4878 it should be that the steel grasp should be redesigned and instead its like lunging strike where you launch a steel forward and if it catches any ememies you go towards that it also applied vuln and then you hota. That would be so much faster and fun. Right now its oh shit cast the grasp wait 30 seconds tben slam by that time in higher nmds I’m already dead by all the archers
I think. this is one of those trick where its not actually quicker but you mind thinks its quicker because there is a command between the hook and hota. it might even be tad slower like .000001 sec but because you add dash(evade).. our minds thinks its quicker because 3 command > 2 commands = similar time
quality video.. really brings to light how polished and moba like pvp can feel in Diablo 4.

I love the recent chain buff and I love tech in games. But the base chain animation really needs to be faster.

This was a build I was having a lot of trouble with in PVP as a druid. Now I see why.
Useful vid. Yeah a lot of abilities in this game are borderline unusable just because of the slow animations and other stuff like end lag

+ to max fury is a big plus on your hota damage. plus the positioning on the quake is REALLY tight. What stats do you have on your gear?
