The more I see about this game, the more impatient im becoming for it to be released. Can't wait to see more content, hopefully, from you on this game.
If it's on par with something like Honkai: Star Rail it'll be pretty fun to mess around with. What's really going to be telling is what the gacha system is going to be like. Is it going to be f2p / very low spender friendly? Or is it going to be greedy? And that goes way beyond "can you beat content", because let's be real, gacha are fueled by people wanting to play with the characters you want to play. Pity rates would have been good to include in this video, because that's one of the absolute most important things to tell people about a new gacha. Pity rates, pull rates, are they going to go full greed and include trash like event battlepasses on top of regular battlepasses on top of multiple monthly cards on top of... etc. A game can be absolute garbage no matter how pretty the presentation, if they add too much BS, because they always nerf how quickly you get currency or other necessary items if they add more ways to spend real $$$.
I'll pull together a video soon on the current pity rates and pull systems. This one was already at 30 minutes so didn't want to pull it any longer than that. There does seem to be a mode (I haven't unlocked yet) with leaderboards, which I'd assume is topped by the whales given the structure. It'll be interesting to see how they handle the rates and costs once it hits global though. I hope there is a beta soon-ish so I can start seeing their intents there.
I put a solid 4 hours into it today while the family was out. It’s really fun. I’m sure I’ll see you tossing plenty of content on this one soon enough.
i like my gacha games. and love my persona games but this sounds terrible. i feel like they could of made a much more amazing game if they just steered away from gacha.
I can appreciate it won’t be for everyone, and that’s ok. I will say that I’m really enjoying it though. Even if you don’t want to do the gatcha side I think there’s things to enjoy as a persona fan.
