I would also add to your analysis. In the defamation trial, it was uncovered that Johnny told Amber that he was “done” with the relationship and wanted out. I believe that Amber’s narcissism couldn’t handle the public embarrassment of being abandoned by him first, so she basically ran to the courthouse the next day and filed for divorce in order to be in ‘control’ of the direction of the relationship.
She had to get there first...to the court

Well done @Hayley Longster, you are entirely correct. Depp´s intimation of wanting a divorce was a further manifestation of a threat to control which signalled to her unconscious narcissism that he was too difficult to control. His intimation (along with other behaviours) resulted in the disengagement trigger of "too difficult to control" being activated and thus she disengaged and sought a divorce.
I think she married him to steal his money and I think she knew she would divorce him she didn’t love him I think she wanted to extort money from him

problem is, he was probably going to call divorce before she had time to prepare.. she probably thought she could "use" him for a few years.. but he surprised her and he did rebuff her.. so then she had to call divorce sooner.. as a rejected Narc wont stay arpund long.. no matter what the plan.

You are 100% on target, she got a clue when he wanted her to sign a postnuptial agreement. She wanted full access, although I think he would have been more than fair to not leave her in the position she faces today.
Depp told us why she left: his mom died, he had a damaskine moment - the next day he had a phone call with her telling her the best thing would be for them to get a divorce. She was preempting him.

We tend to do that when we leave them, don't we. Tell them in advance that we're going to. Usually many times before we actually do, but there comes a point when we really do mean it, and they're very good at realising when that is and pre-empting our action with theirs.
This was something I got right with my Narc No 2 (I'm fairly certain I was involved with 2 narcs romantically, one when I was v young and one about 10 years ago in my 20s-- two very different men so it took me a while to deduce their.... similarities 😏). I gave him no warning. Turned up one day. Said I was leaving him. Took my stuff from the house. Never spoke to him again.

One night after a birthday party out Tatiane confronted her husband about something she saw in his phone and they returned home. CCTV shows Luis Felipe (the husband) chasing and hitting Tatiane in the underground parking lot, elevator, then her body falling on the side walk. He came down picked the body and fled the scene.
When he got caught (car accident) he said he had an argument with his wife and that she has committed suicide by jumping off the balcony. The autopsy revealed that the cause of death was manual strangulation (same as Gabby Petito).
He kept his version in trial and tried to portray his wife as dysregulated, jealous controlling, suicidal, etc. They were trying to go for a borderline diagnosis but she was dead to be evaluated.
She had texts to her friends communicating about his behavioral change and thay she would have to leave the relationship. Her last google searches were on "how to divorce a violent husband" and "how to bring up divorce with an aggressive husband".
The cctv caught the aggressions, the autopsy confirmed how she died. Without those the woman would have been painted as a "crazy borderline emotionally manipulative woman" and he would have walked away free.
Some people still said that she must have been cheating for him to behave like that.
Luis Felipe got less hate than Amber for writing an article.
He was going to finally leave her, so she beat him to the legal paperwork, so that it would look like she left him.
My reading of the situation is that she could sense that the relationship was finally over in his mind, so in order to remain in control, she had to beat him to the punch. This included filing the restraining order even though he was going out of town anyway. She quickly took action while he was away.

He actually told her this in one of the recordings .. He planned to file yet had an out of town obligation . She then sprang to action to be the first to file, made up her story of abuse , etc, etc and the rest is history ... Wish she could move on yet her Crazy won't let her ..

If I were Amber’s attorney, I’d make sure she pays her bill before drafting any appeal papers.

One thing I think one thing mentioned on court that relates to this but you missed saying was that Johnnie Depp stated that after his mother died he talked to Amber and told her he wanted a divorce. Then he leaves the country she files the restraining order and filed in for a divorce.

Yes, I saw a text message and heard a tape recorded conversation about the fact she was worried she only had 21 days before getting evicted. Johnny told her, no it wasn't true.
Summed up perfectly HG, she entered the relationship knowing the lifestyle and went along for the ride.Once established in the relationship she assumed she would be able to take control. A very typical narcissist.
She told Johnny "I worked really hard to get into this relationship." Johnny asked her what she meant. She never answered the question.
I don’t believe that. I believe she knew he would leave her. And she left him first. She was afraid to leave Australia after the finger cutting off incident because she knew if she was away from him at that vulnerable time, his friends would convince him to leave her. Logically it wasn’t sustainable and he was being abused. She didn’t want to be left period. So she left him and concocted the story to make him the Villian to keep control over him afterwards and to feel superior. And to get money. That is what I believe.
And to both get revenge for being ditched and get control of the narrative post-divorce. Imagine JD filing for divorce first and later stories being leaked about her behaviour....To say nothing of the monetary aspect. She wanted to dominate him in every aspect.
Amber heard left because Johnny told her he wanted a divorce. She pooped his bed and he left her for over a month. He agreed to meet her at the Penthouse to discuss their divorce. I think she invited him there to claim abuse and file. Her father told Johnny she was advised to get a restraining order or else she would be homeless in 30 days. She had no choice in her mind. Johnny was done & She and ALL HER ENTOURAGE WERE GOING TO BE EVICTED. So they all agreed to back Amber as witnesses and they would be allowed to stay once Johnny signed over ALL FOUR of the penthouses he was being extorted for. When he refused to buckle she SEVERELY UNDER ESTIMATED HIM. She thought he would be desperate to keep a lid on his addiction and unseemly dirt because he is so private. He isn't attached to that money like she is. He is like Elvis in that regaurd. He loved making a difference in his friends lives but it doesn't make him who he is. He was poor before and he could dig himself out a second time.
She is empty inside and need money to feel like someone important. She was a call girl, a stripper at 17 & was raised by heroin addicts. She has slept her way to the top. obviously.

True. While it is very true that women tend to be dispropportionately judged, underpaid and abused including sexual abuse. It appears that there is a tendency for people in this cultural ladnscape to not understand that these mecanisms are dihumanising, and that making the reverse assumption that this means all women are always victims of a hyper masculine aggresive culture. That an abusive woman can be recognised as an abusive person based on legal evidence, is the step forward needed, exactly to start changing the cultural landscape so all women and men are recognised as human beings who should be treated as persons.

I watched the entire Trial, I was disgusted that AH was calling herself a representative of “women and victims of DV” and then the ACLU making her, an abuser, their Ambassador to women and DV/GBV! I don't think there was any fear involved. Timing was right (his mom situation) and she seized that window of opportunity to strike.
by this time (after Johnny's clear intention is made known), she was probably single-mindedly pursuing the residual benefit - money.
At this point by listening to Amber during the trial I'm not interested in anything she say. She lies. All you have to do is listen to her.
The DV allegations (TRO) were about control and financial leverage, IMO. And I sincerely believe that she "targeted" him because she saw huge dollar signs in her eyes. Her remark in one audio recording about how she had worked so hard to make the marriage happen made me wonder, given California law, if she was thinking about the PotC earnings in a future divorce. Had to make that wedding happen before he started filming the next instalment of Pirates of the Caribbean!
I appreciate your repeated emphasis that narcissists really believe what they say about their victimhood, their brilliance, their entitlement, etc. I struggled for years to comprehend how my father could behave so badly toward the people he claimed to love, and only by accepting that he simply did not have the capacity for self-awareness-that his NPD controlled his cognition-did I find closure on that issue.
I'm not a doctor but I do read people to a tee and in my opinion AH is either a true psychopath or has multiple personalities...and I actually thought that before the testimony where she admitted as much in her answer on one of her exams that she sometimes feels like she has 3 or 4 different personalities 🤔
Since “true psychopath” is not an actual diagnosis, try just sticking with the cluster-B condition. Psychopathy is actually termed Anti-Social-Personality-Disorder. However, the diagnosis’ shown in the trial seem accurate. She has extreme levels of certain traits. Borderline Personality disorder, and Histrionic Personality Disorder are accurate. They also include what you feel is a psychopath.
She definitely does not have multiple personalities, she has psychotic breaks. She had them on the stand. The multiple personality she was referring to would be in the sense that she believes there are different versions of the same person. For instance; happy kind Amber, mean anger jealous Amber, helping Amber…etc… the fear could be that she could have beginning stage of schizophrenia and she would not allow people (medical and family) to know that yet. I don’t want to look at her long enough at this point to find out.

Those of us who have left and been stalked online and victims of smear campaigns know already that zero contact is best but I feared that Amber wouldn't leave JD alone even after the verdict and sure enough she has a little minion Eve Barlow who is starting fights every day, attacking anyone who simply supports both of them. We already know that you must only play for their team, not the enemy.
I am still going through therapy c-ptsd and it's really triggered me from my own experience seeing that she keeps coming at him. After 10 long years, I am still being stalked from time to time even with zero contact and blocking all social media. I wonder though if there is anything (he can afford to do) to stop at least some of the harassment? Even after posting a simple video via Tiktok she and her little minion are enraged. I know just the fact that he won and is ignoring her is killing her but will her relentless stalking continue to hurt him? Excellent job on this informative vid, HG.
I mean he can successfully hide in his bathroom now but she is out there looking for a way back in with words or actions. She has to win something. I think he has suffered trauma from her and his Mother. He should live out the rest of his days in peace from Amber and her minions.
If we step back to the beginning of their relationship, he was fairly sober but did struggle with breaking up with Vanessa. After getting with AH, it really seemed to spiral. Did her narcissistic behaviors cause him to fall further into tank? I honestly believe she unknowingly caused his downfall. Her narcissism didn't allow her to see she was at fault. At the end, when he was uncontrollable, as HG stated, she knew it was time to bail. Plus he had that moment of clarity after his mother's death, that it needed to be over. Whether or not, AH was trying to file first, we don't know. But I do feel she was the spark that caused the inferno and her narcissism blinded her into thinking it was all his fault.
I noticed after they got together that the bags under his eyes just got bigger and bigger. Also he would look down in pictures of them together (which I found odd for an actor). I even commented to friends he looked like Katie Holmes when she was married to Tom Cruise.
I think within 6onths he realized he walked away from the best thing that ever happend to him

We are all narcissistic at some point in our lives. Here we are talking about pathological case of narcism and a sure shot diagnosis for that is absolute lack of empathy in the narcissist.

If they start to have a real emotion then that's a massive injury and the ultimate threat to control as well as a shameful weakness. She was sooooo afraid for her life that she gave him a big knife, not a bread knife, with the inscription Till Death. So scared her behaviour was geared to provoke and not escape. So scared she initiates fights and end up beating him and excising his fingertip.
He told her he was going to divorce her the day he “threw” the phone at her, he’d told her he was done before but that time she believed him, hence why she called the police after speaking to her PR team and her lawyer.

The night of her birthday they were in the bed and they started the discussion about why he was late she got out of the bed and started beating on him he decided to leave she tried to block the doorway he suggested that she hit him and she hit him again he told her that was enough sat her down on the bed and told her he was through. That's why he made the statement in the recording that he made a mistake by letting her know his intentions that's why she let someone poop in the bed most likely the gay guy.

In actual fact Amber when you listen to the audio it was because of the fact that Depp was going to/or wanted a divorce or for “or to be over” and also Amber knew Depp had been swindled $650million by his financial managers. This would’ve driven her choice and her narcissism to get in front of the situation and divorce him first because she was having affairs to put it nicely with everyone so that she was living a life of abundance and her eyes at her narcissism could not allow her to let Johnny divorce her first

I think it was also why she insisted on getting back on the witness stand, so in her mind, she was having the final word.
Dr Curry did 29 hrs with Heard in interviews according to her testimony. Then she was paid for her time on the stand. She was an expert witness. We dont know her price tag but it would have been a fair amount. I trusted her testimony.

The lack of tears is because she has no emotional empathy. Her disordered mind confabulates these stories but there are no genuine feelings behind it all, that’s why it appears fake because it is fake. This is why the majority of the population who do have emotional empathy feel that everything she says feels off.
I believe HG says all of her theatrics is her Facade management. She’s playing the roll of victim. And ofcourse she’s a terrible actor.

She has no empathy, unable to feel real emotions, however she's built a story in her mind that she clings to. She acts her emotions, because she has no idea what they really feel like. It's a defense mechanism. For them to feel would create massive discomfort. She has suffered abuse in childhood and this was her brains response to cope, similar to multiple personality disorder. I wonder if there's and actual brain change that occurs similar to the changes one sees in the frontal lobes of a serial killer. This is likely why they are unable to be cured...
I think she preempted his decision to leave. She knows she's abusive and so she projected her behavior unto him. She cut off the tip of his finger in Australia. There's evidence of her horrendous behavior, but none to back up her accusations. Even her own evidence was harmful to her. I think the narcissist believes you are weak and you will not go against them ever. If more people do what Johnny did, they'd be exposed. She is very grandiose.
AH doesn't have emotional empathy. Amber pulling faces is due to her cognitive empathy.
Johnny told her he was finished with her. She was thrown out. She did not leave him, he has recordings (plural) of Amber begging to stay.
I'm in an unenviable situation - I've a mother, narcissist, very much like Depp's mother, & sounds just like Amber on those tapes.
However, I'm a woman, & I am all too aware of the demographics - & WOW, surprise, surprise - there's a 'man' who I've experienced a 'relationship' with who is, not a narcissist, but checks the boxes of sociopath. OH, the joy.
I found my father's notes, etc - after his death - broke my heart.

One thing I noticed about Depp - is that, depsite his mother's atrocities: he didn't dump her.
I didn't with my mother either - & now my father's gone, I'm glad I didn't - she is who she is - but, as an empath (I guess I am) it just wasn't right, wouldn't be right to have cut her off - & I can be there for her as I can - it's empathy & compassion.
Where most people would bail (cannot blame them) - empaths do not.
That's Depp - he could have lashed out, left his mother etc - but, he didn't - he understood, he did his best, because he can see it from her perspective, too - which is why he's an empath & why he's such a great actor.

ETA - the demographics are that the vast, vast majority of abused people are women & children.
I'll also add though that non-physical violence, even from those who suffer from it, state that it's nothing compared to the emotional/psychological abuse. It's possible abuse from women is under-reported.

I am two years into a divorce with someone like amber. I initiated it because she attacked one of my children and got them taken by cps. She is still trying to get me to engage with her by trying to get me to personally supervise visits, unnaturally bringing me into the conversation with my kids from what they have said to me, and trying to get our personal information and location through various methods. I am not sure if she replaced me with my "best" man from our wedding or if she was just trying to use him to get back into my orbit like she did previously with another at the time friend. Any suggestions on how I can get her to let go without hurting the kids who don't particularly want to see her anyways as they recognize she was abusive towards them as well.
I'm so sorry for your situation
The best scenario would be sole custody but as you know, almost impossible to get despite your evidence of her abuse. She has to be enraged that the kids don't want to be with her and she can't use them as pawns to further destroy your life. I wish I had a better plan of action to offer you.

Sounds like you are doing things right. Don’t give personal info and don’t let her pull you into having contact with her. I’ve been through this too. I successfully divorced and very gently taught our daughter about narcissism and over time she saw the truth and didn’t want to go to her dad’s anymore bc he’s so emotionally mean. Today we are healed in our relationship and neither of us has anything to do with him. I prayed a lot and asked God to help us through the whole thing and He did. But it was definitely a difficult painful time to go through. Things do end up working out in the end if you don’t give up. ❤️
My own experience & research says they will _always_ feel ownership over you. Every Cluster B will be unique. I've read that we become somewhat narcissistic to preserve ourselves. It's the price for living and interacting with them.
Some people pray before eating or sleeping, before a rival game and especially war; before contact helps me.
You might never, truly be rid of them, but their influence & ability to impact your life does fade.

The visits have been on pause the last couple of weeks kids were sick the week before and she got frustrated and canceled last week. The kids have been doing better this week because of that break.
I understood that she decided to divorce him when he brought up doing the prenuptial agreement, after they had been married for over a year. She disagreed to do it. Perhaps, that's when she realized she was starting to lose control over him, as he was exercising his rights and wanting to protect himself. It showed that he didn't trust her. Narcissists always have goal that benefits them and not you. They are not interested in you, but will feign that they are. For a short time, they will feign empathy, in order to get something, but it isn't long before they lash out with no empathy at all.
JD DID try to address his addictions AND went sober.
In my opinion, she filed for divorce because she wanted to beat him to it, plus taking advantage that he was at his lowest hour with the passing of his mother.

He actually said he was done when his mom died. It was an awakening for him and the text reflected this. But everything she talked about was being embarrassed…it’s all about her ego and she couldn’t handle him embarrassing her by divorce first.
Her attorney is going coocoo on TV . Still keeps going about his case in London ( Oh but they found him guilty ). Even in court she kept pushing this agenda . Also she's saying there's lots of medical evidence ,no she haven't ,it's a therapist' s words that's no doctor .that one she brought to testify for her was so comical .She went for the divorce first , so she plans how to take all his assets ruin his reputation and him loosing everything . No wonder she described all the abuse if she was a champion of women . But my God ,does any one wants a woman like her to lead them ?.
I don’t understand how Amber’s therapists’ notes would not be considered medical evidence and would be dismissed as hearsay, but the ‘expert’ witnesses (Dr. Curry, etc) testifying about Amber’s alleged personality disorder are considered admissible. Can you help me understand?
I believe Amber operates under her own definition of reality. "Pledge" is synonymous with "donate". Johnny walking away from conflict is synonymous with abuse.

There is audio that confirms that she accused him of abuse to get a TRO. She says her lawyers told her that without it her and her friends would be evicted from the penthouses. Her lawyers send a letter with copious demands for Johnny to agree to or else everything would go public.
She clearly did not believe that her life was in danger. She accused him for material gain.
I wonder why he even married her. He had two children with Vanessa and was with her for nearly 15 years without marrying her, and he knew Heard four years before marrying her... She must have thrown so many tantrums until he agreed to do so.

His lawyers said "let's negotiate " so she filed a TRO tipping off TMZ and employing PR to put her photoshopped pics around the world. Some where in this relationship she knows what she's doing. She is not insane.
Johnny is imperfect, as all of us. I could care less. He was revictimized by her. Physically and psychologically torturing him, he didn't ever hit back. She is a perpetrator of abuse.
