I recently decided to do all my surv adepts and I agree that Ash and David are probably the hardest if you actually trying to utilize their perks. Luckily I met a nice Artist who let me go as David after I made her a shrine with all of my fallen teammates items😅 Also, the game in the background was kinda intense, did yall end up saving the Meg?😂
Storytime! 😊 1. The hardest adept for me was Ace. When Deathslinger came out, I wasn't impressed and thought he looked out of place. During the first week of his release, one trial went to hell fast and he let me go because I was the only one still trying. I adepted Ace because of him. After that, I swore I would always be happy to see him. 2. I got the Left For Dead achievement because of a Tombstone Myers. I was playing Cheryl, he had already mori'd two people, and I was going to sacrifice myself so Zarina could get Hatch. Then he decided to be friendly. Zarina didn't understand and dc'd, so I start repairing the last generator with him breathing by my side. I'm so on edge because he could kill me at any moment! It's done and while I open a gate, he gestures for me to come to the main building. He had found the Hatch for me and was so proud and nodding. But I had to escape through the gates. He slowly watched me as I left, confused. This is one of my most bittersweet DBD memories. I finally got the hardest Left Behind achievement, but I wasn't expecting to leave behind a piece of my heart with that sweet Myers who I left hanging. That was one of my last matches on old Ormond too. Maybe he's still standing there, eternally guarding the Hatch for Cheryl. 😢 Anyone else have a killer they didnt want to say goodbye to?
speaking of that achievment, i got that vs a dredge on old temple. friends died out left and right and just finished the last gen after hatch had spawn. killer was paranoid about it and went out of their way to close it while i headed out the door. was also funny as i did it as my main, Bill
I have a similar story for that achievement. it was vs a clown, don't remember the details, but he won the match and had killed the others. I expected to get hooked but he was like "wanna farm?" and we farmed a bit, he let me do the final gen and open the gate. I fully assumed he would just kill me, and I was letting him. but he didn't. I left my item on the ground and walked out. and then I realized the achievement existed. it was a complete accident.
Gotta remind survivors that you could kill them at any moment but choose not to. But fr, I was sweating bullets when I had to do David's adept but it ended up being a friendly trapper who just wanted us to step into traps or something. The guy trapped the entire Main Building and it became kind of like a collection of traps
As someone who did literally every adept achievement, yeah David is 100% the hardest in the entire game. The only reason I got it was because the killer realized what I was doing and gave me hatch.
I have every DBD achievement and for me I think the worst adepts were Ace, he’s my survivor main so on top of having generally pretty awful perks I also had the distinct misfortune of having him be in a high MMR spot. Rebecca Chambers surprisingly took a LOT of attempts. I found that if I didn’t get it first try it would usually take forever, and IDK what it was about Rebecca but killers LOVED tunneling me. Also Laurie Strode was a real poison pill. Object of Obsession is AWFUL especially for someone like me who got all my adepts during solo queue.

I would be shocked if Dwight didn't made it into the easiest tier. every time I play him I used all 3 of his perks + one to locate the killer and never had many problems with it.
Lori isn't hard because of object, it's because your essentially playing with 1 perk. Object is amazing, average killers dont realize that your revealed so you get free aura reading. It's also great to trade aura reading with the killer and you can give ur team his perk set if the killer uses aura perks

I get what you're saying - One of my attempts with Lauries Adept, I went against a Twins player (the rare sighting that it lol) and was left to bleed out cause they were adamant that I was hacking - they didn't understand Object and just kept saying 'nice work hacker' and 'get rekt hacker' and I'm like 'who's the hacker?' and then when they directed the comment to me, I merely just said 'read what my perks do, then you'll understand' I used to hate the perk until I got better with figuring out the benefits of seeing the killers aura than anything
i think claudette's adept may be better now after the medkit changes tbh. Self-care obviously used to be an egregious time sink, but since the adept requires botany knowledge also, you're really only spending like six? 8? seconds more healing yourself than you would be with a medkit. obviously you should still primarily rely on teammates to heal, but it can come in clutch for the adept -- especially in soloqueue. this is also just a personal opinion because im an incredibly impatient person, but i think botany's like my favorite perk in the game because its a 50% buff to any type of healing with no activation requirement, and with so many killers running sloppy lately, I've found it to be incredibly useful in keeping my teammates alive
This is somthing that popped into my mind recently, but what about talk about survivors that could in theory fight against the killers, and if you had the 4 best who could the overcome? Obviously the RE survivors could bring the pain and I think they could easily overpower killers like Trickster and Legion
I remember the match where I got Adept Ash and Item of Obsession at the same time. It was on Eyrie of Crows against a Bubba. Whenever he saw me I ran to a T and L loop and looped him really good until he dropped me. Got into another chase with him at killer shack. Later on he saw me again and didn't even bother to start a chase. When we finished the randoms I was with wanted to be toxic to the killer instead of leaving. I was trying to tell them to leave with points but they wouldn't leave until the Bubba got mad and rushed in to get a hit. I almost got hit and almost wasn't the last one to leave either, but I was able to do both of those!
Hardest adept if youre trying to rely on the perks is by far Ace. His perks have zero synergy with one another, and generally do nothing on their own LOL
I have respect for low profile because it got me through my adept with ada. Also yes, everyone should attempt the david king adept if for no other reason than getting comfortable being injured.
I think something you should do is ask your community for balance changes, and agree or disagree with what they say. Here's my idea to the nerf of Made For This + Hope combo that's kinda unfair: The haste effect given by them and B: Dark Theory has a cap of 8% or 9%. This way the combo is still effective to a degree, but you aren't given a 110% speed when gates are powered. This wouldn't affect things like borrowed time, sprint burst, etc. only perks that are a constant speed buff. but that's just my idea.
haven't done all the adepts yet but i feel like Laurie's either the worst or tied with David as the killer just goes straight to you every time object decides to dox your aura unless they're in a chase/hooking another survivor. only reason i have it honestly is cause an AFK Killer
Leader is not increasing gen repair speed. Leader is great if someone needs to heal you (and maybe oppening gates), otherwise its effect is counter productive since to work, it needs you too be close to other survivors and there is no need to be near someone who is clensing totem or oppening chests

From the very beginning I was thinking "If David isn't the hardest then it's just nonsense." XD No Mither doesn't provide nearly enough to compensate for the lost healthstate, especially since Dead Hard is basically dead now. Killers will never leave a No Mither Survivor slugged unless they get swarmed so it might as well just be a handicap. It should give some kind of other bonus (healing speed, scratch marks are less bright or complete silence instead of just a big sound reduction because why the hell is this perk making it impossible to hide close to the Killer or corner-tech on top of being 1-hit?).
When i was still fairly new at dbd i was always thinking that david and laurie have the hardest (this was before the 40 perk changes) david yeah ofcourse its hard since your always injured but i was bad at looping (still kinda am) and i was scared to do it on laurie as i didnt wanna run object cuz i thought the killer would always chase me if i had it
At least doing Laurie's adept will not automatically get you tunneled nowadays. When I did it in November 2018, Object was borderline OP, revealing the killer's aura whenever you looked in their direction. Yes you had old DS, but killers knew how to hook dribble too as DS activated AFTER the pick-up and not during it. I only got it because the killer noticed that I was a noob and just doing the adept and therefore gave me hatch.
Claudette is probably the easiest. You get a global killer info if a teammate is hit, you can see teammates if they are injured. And you can heal your teammates faster and your self at almost medkit speed. Plus her passive perk of invisibility XD

The hardest for me was Quentin for some reason, it took me 3 days of playing him non-stop to get it. Nobody else took more than 10 attempts, but I went on a massive losing streak with him.
I disagree about Red Herring - it's a perfect distraction for a killer when you need to find a hatch. I got mine adept first try by baiting Spirit to come to the gen at the upper floor of Thompson house. She barely ended searching the floor for me while I was already on the other side of the map jumping into hatch. Literally the perk created a red herring for the killer to chase, while I managed to escape. It's one of the games I really remember fondly because I felt like I did something cool.
I actually don’t think any perks are useless. What I do is for my survivors I will always use their teachable perks then an extra perk that makes the others stronger. Like for David I run resilience so I always do everything 9 percent faster. And on Renato I run breakout to make his exhaustion perk useful. And for Ash I add boil over bc it is amazing with flip flop and will allow me to take protection hits with a higher chance of wiggling off the killers back
My opinion on the adapt challenges for survivor side is if you can play and survive without any perks you can get the Adepts (except David makes it harder due to No Mither)
i think killer is quite a bit easier since most of the time doing the adepts means you'll play a killer you usually dont play and that means your mmr will be low. when i went for the adept for doctor the survivors were so painfully bad i felt like they just installed the game that day, it was almost too easy. versus when i play wesker and every survivor is a perfectly in sync swf thats able to loop extremely well
Tbh I love doing killer and survivor adepts themed like Myers on Haddonfield with tombstone piece and Dwight on McMillan with a toolbox. For me was and is easily David is the hardest solely because dead hard now is officially nerfed to the ground and ofc no mither. When a killer sees that that'll go for it because your one shot. Especially now since DH is down bad. And Laurie is a strong tie with David because sole survivor and object of obsession do actually nothing. And ofc DS being nerfed to the ground
actually got david in like 2 tries... it was during the time when dead hard was good, but only on pc. on console it would lag the game anytime anyone used it so it was pretty bad.

Personally, I'm under the belief that aside from David, none of the Adepts are actually difficult, because you don't have to actually utilize their perks in order to get the adept, you just need to escape. All survivors play the exact same with no perks, aside from some having louder noises than others, but in the grand scheme of things that isn't super relevant. Of course, playing some survivors like Feng Min are going to be easier because they have better starter perks than other survivors, but all in all I don't really think survivor adepts are hard. The only one that is actually hard is David because you're constantly at 1 health state the whole game. And right after David I'd put Laurie due to Object of Obsession, because like 99% of the time with that perk equipped, you're gonna end up being the obsession, and having your aura revealed to the killer every 30 seconds is not good, unless you're constantly hiding in lockers before it can be revealed. This is only amplified if the killer is a stealth killer like Wraith or Ghostface, as they will get to see your aura, but you don't even get to see theirs.
I thought David was going to be the hardest when I got everyone adept but running it gives the appearance that you're way better at the game than you actually are and the killer leaves you alone
I did all the survivor adepts before going killer and personally I thought they were kind of easy idk maybe I just got lucky 90% the time, got the achievement with in a few games so not to bad. Killer adepts was a whole nother beast it took me 6 to 8 games each killer because I had to re learn everything when I moved to the next killer. Though I will say, most fun I had was Billy, least fun/hardest was ghost face.
Got Ash on my 2nd game the entity blessed me, i had all his perks only lvl 1 each i was being slugged while killer was trying to chase last survivor out I recovered while forgetting i had flip flop killer was taking me to hook the hatch spawned right in front of us i got off the killer and escaped TOTALLY PLANNED 😅🤣 shit was the highlight of the night that was entity blessing
Deliverance is overrated? I understand that it's not always easy to use in soloq, but a single well-timed Deliverance can COMPLETELY screw the killer and take away all of his pressure. I'll have to disagree with you here, Deliverance easily is a top 5 if not top 3 perk.
Tbh, I think Bill is technically the easiest Borrowed time is good, but nothing too much Unbreakable is great But left behind can just be paired with a key. So it’s almost guaranteed if you don’t care about your team
I have a weird video suggestion. Make a video on what killers and survivors could possibly be friends or have a bond with each other in the realm. I get killers are evil and therefore show no sympathy. But surely more then 10 years in the realm is enough to make everyone consider being neutral.

do survivors change your mmr depending on how often you play them still? i still seem to get mid mmr even if ive never played a survivor before.

The only reason I got Adept David within my first 50hrs of DBD was an AFK killer. Same thing with that No Mither only challenge on a tome

I got very lucky doing Davd’s adept, I got a baby killer and some solid teamates and only took two tries.

Felix’s perk set is underrated for sure

Like for David I run resilience so I always do everything 9 percent faster. And on Renato I run breakout to make his exhaustion perk useful. And for Ash I add boil over bc it is amazing with flip flop and will allow me to take protection hits with a higher chance of wiggling off the killers back
My opinion on the adapt challenges for survivor side is if you can play and survive without any perks you can get the Adepts (except David makes it harder due to No Mither)
i think killer is quite a bit easier since most of the time doing the adepts means you'll play a killer you usually dont play and that means your mmr will be low. when i went for the adept for doctor the survivors were so painfully bad i felt like they just installed the game that day, it was almost too easy. versus when i play wesker and every survivor is a perfectly in sync swf thats able to loop extremely well

Tbh I love doing killer and survivor adepts themed like Myers on Haddonfield with tombstone piece and Dwight on McMillan with a toolbox. For me was and is easily David is the hardest solely because dead hard now is officially nerfed to the ground and ofc no mither. When a killer sees that that'll go for it because your one shot. Especially now since DH is down bad.
And Laurie is a strong tie with David because sole survivor and object of obsession do actually nothing. And ofc DS being nerfed to the ground

it was during the time when dead hard was good, but only on pc. on console it would lag the game anytime anyone used it so it was pretty bad.
Botany Self Care is meta and Empathy is arguably the second best information perk for survivors in the game, only after Windows. How is she not easy?

i have done all the adepts the hardest for me by far is cheryl the perks were useless and it took me over 10 matches i still remember how hard it was
Personally, I'm under the belief that aside from David, none of the Adepts are actually difficult, because you don't have to actually utilize their perks in order to get the adept, you just need to escape. All survivors play the exact same with no perks, aside from some having louder noises than others, but in the grand scheme of things that isn't super relevant. Of course, playing some survivors like Feng Min are going to be easier because they have better starter perks than other survivors, but all in all I don't really think survivor adepts are hard. The only one that is actually hard is David because you're constantly at 1 health state the whole game. And right after David I'd put Laurie due to Object of Obsession, because like 99% of the time with that perk equipped, you're gonna end up being the obsession, and having your aura revealed to the killer every 30 seconds is not good, unless you're constantly hiding in lockers before it can be revealed. This is only amplified if the killer is a stealth killer like Wraith or Ghostface, as they will get to see your aura, but you don't even get to see theirs.
I thought David was going to be the hardest when I got everyone adept but running it gives the appearance that you're way better at the game than you actually are and the killer leaves you alone

I did all the survivor adepts before going killer and personally I thought they were kind of easy idk maybe I just got lucky 90% the time, got the achievement with in a few games so not to bad. Killer adepts was a whole nother beast it took me 6 to 8 games each killer because I had to re learn everything when I moved to the next killer. Though I will say, most fun I had was Billy, least fun/hardest was ghost face.
Got Ash on my 2nd game the entity blessed me, i had all his perks only lvl 1 each i was being slugged while killer was trying to chase last survivor out I recovered while forgetting i had flip flop killer was taking me to hook the hatch spawned right in front of us i got off the killer and escaped TOTALLY PLANNED 😅🤣 shit was the highlight of the night that was entity blessing
I would go with david and laurie sense ooo and no mither both hinder the way you play where the rest of the perks do not hinder you in anyway
The hardest adepts for sure were David and Ash for me, Ace was weirdly cake

Deliverance is overrated? I understand that it's not always easy to use in soloq, but a single well-timed Deliverance can COMPLETELY screw the killer and take away all of his pressure.
I'll have to disagree with you here, Deliverance easily is a top 5 if not top 3 perk.

I have a weird video suggestion. Make a video on what killers and survivors could possibly be friends or have a bond with each other in the realm. I get killers are evil and therefore show no sympathy. But surely more then 10 years in the realm is enough to make everyone consider being neutral.
