YUMMY ! YUMMY ! YUMMY!
Your 1st setting up n name for each ingredient in the bowl are well done research, I have eaten this since I was 7 but only know how to recently.
The reason you don't see many overweight Vietnamese people is because their food is so fresh and clean with loads of fresh veg and herbs. If you ignore the deep fried stuff, eg. spring rolls, the food is generally pretty darn healthy and tasty. Whenever I am famished and want to eat well, i have a bowl of pho or any other type of Vietnamese soup noodles and a couple of rice paper rolls. So so good and no guilt.
and they don't eat massive bowls like this. Maybe like 1/6 of that bowl
We have so many other soupy dishes too and yeah lots of veggies.
Yeah that true, Vietnam is the least obese country in the world 👍 Vietnamese food are the most healthy
And their cows eat grass, not corn and steroids.
@@dinhnguyen2110actually nowadays many Vietnamese farmers feed cows anything to make them grow faster so..😢
This Vietnamese soul food yo! The best hangover dish and for cold ass weather!
I recently tried it a few weeks ago too and when I tell you that I’m obsessed with Pho!!!! I’ve had it like 5 times in 3 weeks🤣🤣🤣
Mannnnnnn I gotta have it again real soon 😂🤣🤣because damn 😩😂🙌🏾I’m glad you like it too
Hahaha.. yall mad late. This is why i tell my son dont be affriad to try different things. TH-cam is helpful too. I usually got my food adventure ideas from either youtube or Anthony booudain shows
It's the best my nigga. When u are sick or hungover, it's the cure.
I tried it last Saturday for the first time and I'm ordering it again this Saturday!! It was so freaking GOODT! Yes, I said GOODT!
I just went to Vietnam, and the food there is even better😭😭 fresh too
Hahaha as an Vietnamese, this was so wholesome to watch. If you eat spicy, try “bun Bo hue” it’s a spicy beef noodle. If you can take spice. Don’t forget to put all the veggies and herbs in it. It’s enhances the flavour
I can take some spice but not too much 😂❤️I’ll definitely give it a try thank you for suggesting it 🥰
@@ItsWannie I would suggest checking out hu tieu, Southern Vietnam's noodle soup dish also, and if you want to bring some friends to the table there's Vietnam's 7 Courses of Beef.
Yasss!! Bun Bo hue is my fav!!!!
Bun bo hue is a different level. You either don't like it or you do. My Dr loves pho and decided to try bun bo hue for the first time. She did NOT like it at all. She said she should have asked me first before trying it. My mom and sisters love it, but I don't. I prefer Khao poon, curry broth over noodles.
Bun Bo Hue is not easy dish to make even Authentic Vietnamese restaurant (there are several restaurants in Houston area famous for that dish) because of its unit recipes and time consuming...
I’m Cambodian , I enjoy my cultural food but I dammm sure love Vietnamese food 😅
I'm Viet and I think Cambodian is the best food ever! It's the perfect cross between Thai and Vietnamese.
I'm both and enjoy both. 😊💜
@@guyinsfWhat is Khmer food? Name some dishes.
@@luongo7886 Why are you asking me what is Khmer food You don't know what it is?
@@guyinsf Because I don't know enough of Khmer food, that's why I'm asking. If I know the answer, I wouldn't be asking. DUHH!!!
Can I please hug you and say welcome to our “home”, or cuisine? When you try and appreciate our cuisine, I feel like we are family instantly. Not sure if that makes sense, but that’s how I feel.
Awww 🥰 it definitely makes sense ❤️
I love Pho. One of the top 5 foods that I get intense cravings for.
The bone broth is to die for
Pho is a type of dish that everyone should try at least once in their lifetime, I could eat pho for breakfast, lunch and dinner no cap💯💯💯
Yessssss 💛🙌🏾
Once you learn to enjoy vietnamese cuisine, you realize how light and comforting it is to your body.
Girl! Thank you for promoting and advertising Vietnamese food. You will make a difference for the diverse community. You did well for the first time, trying different culture cuisine .
Whenever I'm sick I always get pho. It is so healing and comforting
I bet 🥰💛💛definitely great for colds. I’ll take this over any chicken noodles soup lol
@@ItsWannie hahaha heck yeah!!!
Yuo, Chicken Pho is the best when you are sick.
Exacly Like that
thank you
I have been addicted to Vietnamese pho since the first time I tried it, I need it at least once a week. She's right, everyone has to try it at least once. It's amazing.
Soooo good 🥰
I have loved vietnamese food, pho and taro smoothies for years and years, Vietnamese is one of my favorite cuisines. So cute to see you find out about it and love it so much!! Vietnamese is so underrated! Thanks for sharing❤
It’s definitely underrated
In general for vietnamese food, if it comes with a sauce then you need to dip it in! Vietnamese food tend to be on the lighter side, so most of the flavor and salt is in the sauces.
Pho is the best in the cold and when you’re sick with a cold a life saver!
Hosin and Sriracha adds flavor to the broth so you can try that next time ❤
@itswannie best pho in Houston is Mai’s in midtown
Nah. If you're a true purist, you stay away from spoiling a broth that took hours to make with Hoisin and Sriracha. You can add them to average Pho to make up for their deficiencies. But a real good does not need it. It's sad it had become a systematic habit for a lot of people. And btw, although I love it too, Sriracha is not traditionally eaten in Vietnam. It's a Viet American thing.
@@KelGhu you right but not all places have the broth on point 🥲
Try Bánh Mì thịt nướng, you will love it !! You can try vietnamese smoothies or cane juice (Nước Mía)!!!!!
Cocane juice. 😂
The peanut sauce is actually peanut butter with the hoison sauce! So happy that you love and are appreciating my cultures food! One of my favorite dishes:)
I can’t wait to try it Lovely Mimi eats all the time and it looks so delicious.💜💜💜
Whaaaaat 😮wow thank you for telling me. It was so delicious I want a whole tube of that 😂
@@ta-shonstinson7114yesss she be getting down 🙌🏾😍
@ItsWannie Lovely Mimi show you how to make the peanut sauce and yes she be getting it in.💜💜💜
I truly, truly believe you're enjoying the food the way you are because you put some respect on it. Real sh*t. I mean you did the research, you watched the videos, you're eating it properly, you're combining all the right elements. This is a Viet person's dream! Because damn, I can't tell you how many times I've seen people f it up. It's like wanting to try authentic Mexican food and you pull up to Taco Cabana. Keep on being as open minded as you are! Love it and you're definitely reaping the rewards. Wish everyone did it like you.
Awww thank you 🙏 ❤i tried lol 😅
Sista .. next time put everything in the bowl when your ready to eat it along with the hoisin and Sriracha sauce. Baby I’m telling you that will be top-tier at that point!
Ughhh I should’ve did that 😩don’t worry though I’ll be eating it again in a week or so 🤣😂🙌🏾it’s too good
I appreciate you eating it with no hoisin or sriracha in the broth actually because that’s how you can determine if the broth is good or not! But it always tastes a little better with some sriracha and hoisin 😂 love the video I’m glad you like it! Subscribed
Put chili oil too its the best
I used to put everything in my pho, but now I use the sauces for meat dipping. I have been eating pho for decades, and I love my pho with lots of Sriracha, chill oil, and everything. I learned that keeping the sauce off the broth gives you a fresh liquid every time you drink off from it. There is no wrong way to eat it, but I find this way more refreshing.
@@Asubiei do the same!! i never add the sauces to my broth only lime and black pepper sometimes hehe
As a
Vietnamese child it’s so nice to see someone that is not viet eat food
Yes honaay! I told you Pho is wonderful. That big bowl looks so darn good. Ooh wee.
Vietnamese American guy here….just came across your channel… Love your personality…. Just became a subscriber…Thank you for sharing….
Awww thank you!!!
The best pick me up after a long night of drinking, very good technique trying the broth first without drenching it in hoisin’s sause and Siracha. This is literally my go to, combination pho, spring rolls with peanut sauce and toro milk tea. Mouthwatering!!!!
OMG. Looking at you eat makes me feel hungry. I have to run out for some Pho & Spring rolls now.
😂😂😂
I’ve watched tons of people trying Vietnamese food for the first time on youtube, but i honestly think your reaction is the best i’ve seen! I can tell you were genuinely enjoying the food, and as a Vietnamese, that really warms my heart. And don’t worry about being dramatic, i react like this every time i’m having pho 😂😂 Thanks for the awesome video!
I am loving your cute reactions to trying Vietnamese food for the first time! 😂
😂😂😂💛
That's a hangover food my dear lol glad you love it. I can eat that for breakfast lunch and dinner lmao and it is great for hangover
Lol 😂 I don’t drink much anymore but boy do I wish I had that when I did drink
In Vietnam it is served all day.
I’m from Hawaii and it’s a lot of phos here. I eat the summer rolls mostly everyday lol. I even make my own peanut butter sauce too. Easy. And combine the sriracha and hoisin in your bowl next time too. BOMB 💣 🤍
I keep a bottle of Hoisin sauce and I try to make many different dishes. Wannie you have me wanting to go to my fave place for some Pho; I love Vietnamese, Asian, Thai and Chinese food. Indian food is another fave.
I gotta find that Hoisin sauce 😩😍🙌🏾I have never had Thai food 😅yesss Indian food is sooo good to me especially them Samosas 😅
Love to see her chewing the food, truly they r good, so so good!
I dunno what it is, but watching people enjoy the food of your people is so heartening! So glad for you to have discovered vietnamese food and enjoyed it!
I’m so happy lol 😍🥰I can’t wait to try other dishes
It's always amazing to see people trying my cultural food for the first time. So many of our dishes are fresh, fragrant and all round comfort food ❤
As a Vietnamese person, it makes me happy and brings me great joy to see your honest reactions right after each bite. Keep enjoying the Vietnamese food!
I live in the desert now, but my previous home was in a city where pho restaurants were aplenty. I loved having the option of just stopping by on my way home and picking up vietnamese food. They just opened up a vietnamese restaurant in my desert town, and unfortunately, it doesn't compare. Miss the variety of food options in a city!
Aww that sucks 😢
Love that you chose all the meat options. They all have their different textures and flavor.
I've never had Pho. I would love to try it! Thanks for sharing.❤
You definitely should 😩🙌🏾
It’s life-changing
Find an authentic place near you and make it a road trip if you have to
Really do your homework it’s worth it
Welcome to Việt Nam!
Girl, once you go Pho you can never go back! That Vietnamese food is on another dimension of GOOD!! love your video!!
You literally can’t go back 😂😅sooo good 😍🙌🏾
Thank you!!!! 🥰🙏
❤ the way you enjoyed the food! You made my mouth watery 😊
Girl, I was sick for few days now and today i went out for a bowl of PHO soup and man did the job. after I got home and saw your video of PHO damn, I want more, my favor food of all time is PHO.
13:03 “its a good day” lol, so happy seeing you enjoyed our pho like this >,
I had to come back and finish the last three minutes of the video. I love your reaction to the first bite. Pho is bomb.. I can’t believe I haven’t been eating it my whole life 😋
I want to give you a big hug for trying Vietnamese food! Pho is my #1 favorite dish.
Next time you order the fried spring rolls - wrap them in a lettuce wrap with mint and jalapeño and dip it in Vietnamese fish sauce that should come with it - that is next level texture and crunch and juicy joy!
I've never tried Vietnamese food before but it looks delicious 😋 also I absolutely love your videos and I love you so so much! Every time I see a video pop up I click on it right away. My favorite!!❤️
It’s hard to get good Vietnamese food outside of LA/OC or Houston, because that’s where most Vietnamese are. It’s super hit or miss if you’re outside of those places, but there are pockets out there like Vegas, Florida, Washington. Vietnamese people don’t really do cold climates.
@@LindaQueLeenda OC is default the best, but people don't go there often, and that's fine less crowded. So when I talk Viet food I talk about places other than OC, LA will get the job done fine for people that don't go to OC.
Hosin sauce is definitely a winner! I keep it on hand as one of my food staples.
Hey Pooh! I’m just getting over an illness and I had chicken Pho for dinner the other night. Very good💗
Man I tried pho and literally had it a whole week straight like 2 weeks ago , I think I’m addicted and im literally watching you eat this which I never watch these videos 😂😂😂 whoever came up with Pho THANK YOU 🙏🏽❤️🔥
❤ your reaction to our food is co cute. Thank you.
I love pho. First time watching your videos and I love how much you enjoyed it.
I hate when people add the sauces to the broth instead of using it to dip the meats. Or when they adulterate the broth without even tasting it. Any good pho restaurant that seasons their broth with spices really well doesn't need the extra sauce in the broth in my opinion. Pho tastes best if you eat most of the noodles first before eating the meats because rice noodles absorb a lot of broth really quickly compared to wheat noodles. The rice noodles get too soggy and break apart if you don't. So I eat like 50% of the noodles I want to eat, then I start eating the meats because I don't want to have no room for the meat, then you finish more noodles if you want. Pro tip, if you get it takeout, boil the soup again (without the other stuff) when it arrives to get that super hot restaurant temperature because it makes the whole soup more fragrant and flavorful and it makes the noodles the right texture. You boil the soup and assemble all your stuff (noodles, herbs, etc.) in your bowl while it boils, then pour hot soup over it. Usually when you get pho as takeout, they undercook the noodles so they don't become mush when they arrive and when you put soup that's not hot enough over it, the noodles are too firm.
Wow thank you for the pro tip 😅yes that’s exactly what the man said far as the broth. If it’s seasoned right no need for the sauces
u gotta try banh mi sandwiches grilled pork with vietnamese coffee and bun bo hue next ull love it
Thank you for reviewing Vietnamese food (Pho). Do you know? You make my mouth water. OMG.🥰🥰
just make a travel to Vietnam, u will be know "Heaven of food" and most of all, it's very cheap and delicious, the people are friendly and extremely approachable
The cuisine is extremely rich and diverse. A pho dish in each region in Vietnam will be prepared differently, not the same and many other dishes
There's hoisin sauce in the peanut sauce, that's why it's not super peanut flavor. We love hoisin sauce and our local Walmart sells it!
Yeah!! Thanks for trying Pho🥹🥰🥰
I love the pho soup it’s soo delicious
It’s sooooo delicious 😍🙌🏾
@@ItsWannie yes, girl yes it is good healthy
I can't wait to try Pho, I found an authentic Pho house here in Detroit that a TH-camr from out of state suggested. You have this looking delicious
Hey Wannie! There are so many places to get pho in Houston. Glad you were able to try it! Next check out bun thit nuong...vermicelli noodle dish.
Vietnamese food aims to balance taste, flavor, fat/vege... Some distinctive points you can find out: less fat, if it's fat, it always comes with vege/soup. if you eat something crunchy outside, it will be soft/chewy inside. Light taste foods come with sauce, strong taste foods come with vege/soup
Vietnamese food is very healthy for you too. Sometimes you don’t have to add all the sauces if the broth is made properly and deliciously! Thank you for trying our food!! ❤
Love me some Pho!! Always good! You should get Rell’s reaction too
Love it! Viet food so underrated, so much more to offer. So many different dishes!
add the veggies and herbs into the Pho, but also add the sriracha and hoisin sauce into the broth also, but you did good for a first time. If you like spicy, ask for chili in garlic oil also. Makes the dish taste even better. :)
Hey Pooh! You look wonderful 😍😍 you're most definitely not being dramatic that's the reaction when new flavors start dancing around in your mouth it's like nothing else I enjoyed watching your reaction to everything you tasted, I've been wanting to try this and you've definitely sold me on this. Happy Holidays to you and your family ❤❤❤
The combinations of the flavors and the freshness is what Vietnam cuisine is know for girl.
You eating everything the right way. Pho is great for hangovers as well.
I am Vietnamese and you are making super hungry! 😂 I love how you jump right in and ordered everything I would get. You’re doing it the authentic way! 🎉🎉🎉❤
Thank you for the great video. I love introducing friends to pho and watching how blown away they are. Your wholesome video made me crave pho that I had to go out and get it for lunch.
OMG your "chopsticks skill" is too good lmao
You can basically make any Vietnamese smoothie at home with just fruit, milk, ice, and condensed milk (you can substitute the milk part for any other milk though)
It’s like Vietnamese soul food. Good for your soul. Vietnamese people eat pho anytime of the day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That bowl looks delicious. I love the rib eye bowl. There’s a seafood bowl also.
Just came across your video. You are making my mouth water! You are so right! Open your mind and your palette to be rewarded with delicious food! Watching you enjoy this meal makes me happy! Thank you!
I make homemade pho & it’s the first time seeing your videos too!! I saw you wrote,”trying for the first time” & I had to click it! It’s famous for the Asian community!? Yummy!! You make it so good right now … 😮😢😂❤
Tip: Next Time Dip Your Spring Rolls In The Siracha & Hoison Sauce, If Your Out Of The Peanut Sauce!! Thanks!!
I love Vietnamese food! You should try bun Bo hue if you like spicy but hold the pork blood lol
I loveeee Pho!!
Why you ain’t tell me 😩😩😩😂😍it’s so good
@@ItsWannie Better late than never gurl!
There’s a really good place in Orlando, Fl called TwentyPho Hour! Their broth is to die for 😩🤤
I can’t believe how unbelievably good your Pho looks!
So happy you're enjoying the food. And you even said pho' right. Yes not all pho' noodle soups are created equal. The not so good spots are watered down. The thing with rice noodles is you'll get hungry again in 3 hrs 🙂
As a Vietnamese, watching your video put a big smile on my face, I suggest you to try "Bún bò Huế", it's packed with flavors
peanut sauce is one of the best sauces ever lolll
so happy that u like our cuisineee
You’re adorable. Love your enthusiasm and willingness to try different foods! When I got hooked on pho I got HOOKED. Enjoy!
Nice choice! When the joint is jumping full of people, you know it's decent. The pros are that this dish is light, flavorful, and healthy. You will learn what you like and customize the bowl to your tastebuds. The only con that I have about pho is that I'll be hungry again in a short amount of time. So, here we go, another bowl of pho!
The taro smoothie is like my favorite. It tastes like Cap'n Crunch berries cereal to me. The honey dew smoothie is good also. But like all foods, it can be bad at one place and good at another.
Honestly, it’s the most customizable bowl of soup and noodles.
You want it a little sweeter? Add hoisin sauce to the broth.
You want it spicier? Add sriracha or jalapeños to the broth.
You’re a texture eater and want a crunch? Add more sprouts.
You want it saltier? Add fish sauce.
Because the broth is simmered for at least 4 hours, the flavor will always be there no matter what you add.
Just don’t drink all of it, it’s high in salt. Not as high as ramen, though.
I’m Chinese but my childhood was built on phô. And that’s saying something considering the Chinese also have incredible noodle soups!
You can add the sauces and condiments inside the pho, but you have to taste test the broth first. You can leave the sriracha and hoisin sauce on the side like that for extra dipping :D I like to grab the noodles and put it on my spoon, then use the chopstick to grab some of the sauce and put it onto the noodle that’s on my spoon and eat it. You can also just eat the noodle straight with the chopstick.
Thank you for expressing how good is the food. Simple and sincere. Thanks
This is the best dish to eat during winter...it heals,....trust and believe!
I usually just throw all the sauce in the broth instead of dip. The broth becomes more flavorful, although it doesn’t need it.
And it’s the perfect meal on a raining day for us Asians. 😂
This made me so happy to see :). I also realized at the end, you gave your friend an eggroll with the peanut sauce instead of the fish sauce! xD
Pho is like the chicken noodle for Asian people 😂 glad you tried something different and ended up loving it. Next time, add in a little sugar, hoisin, siaracha, and lime together into the broth after you taste the broth. Makes the best broth ever!
Heyyy, sending love from Vietnam. Really appreciate your reaction girl, it is priceless. Thank you for trying our tradition cuisine and have had the best compliments ever for these. You should try Banh Mi one day on another video. Waiting!!!!!!
Your reaction is sooooo wholesome girl😜😜😜, try Banh Mi & Bun Thit Nuong, you will loveee it!
I def recommend banh mi, ban xeo and a soup called hu tieu 😭😭 omg I love viet food so much. It’s been a minute since I’ve had viet food and I miss it a lot
Nothing better than a bowl of pho to cure a hangover
Honneeyyyy! I WAS eating w/ you😂. You picked up so many yummy bites! I was like EAT IT! 👏🏽Cause it looked soooo GOOD! OFF 🏃🏽♀️to try some Pho!!! 🥰🥰 Because I believe it’s FO’ me! 🤣
Tips!
Add lime to the sriracha and hoisin sauce if you like to dip the meat. I personally like to add it broth and have the sauce to dip.
Ask Pickled Red onions on the side too and if they have bone marrow!
As for the peanut sauce. There’s usually hoisin sauce added :)
As a Vietnamese, thank you for the compliments !! We definitely always use fresh ingredients. 7:30 That sauce is called Hoisin sauce and I ALWAYS use it and sometimes pour it in my broth when eating Pho :) It's really nice, it's a sweet sauce and I always pair it with the sriracha sauce too. Pho is that one asian food that everyone has to at least experience ONCE in their life, glad you loved the food
PHO is my favvv. Eating it plain as is when I'm feeling sick. Other days I'll dump the siracha, hoisin, and chili oil and mix it in.
DAMN GIRL! MADE MY MOUTH ALL WATERY!
