I’m in Shock…….The Level of confidence is extraordinary……To go out in PUBLIC Exposing that BAG……..WHY…….YES you have it and thank God you didn’t have to keep it……My Sister-in-law DIED From colon cancer and she had one of those bags she was devastated she never was the same again she was so ashamed…..I tried so HARD to make her Last Days better as I could…..I was also was shown how to change her Bag I never did it but I would do ANYTHING for this woman I still miss her every day……

If you have a long drive home after the gastrografin test, take your dear sweet time emptying all that liquid from you once the test is over. I wasn’t expecting the second wave of emptying 😰 but luckily home was only 10 minutes away. I love that you’re confidently showing off your bag in public 💙

Yay!. No more chemo, ileostomy reversal. Good things to come. I had my reversal in January. It was rough. But was so happy to get rid of it.

Prepare for the uncomfortable procedure of testing the sigmoid area from healing. This was the most uncomfortable test for me post-surgery. But when everything is fine, then you can go to the last stage ; reversa of the ileostomy, and that feels so great! I'm happy to see that you enjoy yummy foods, that can change af the reversal, it's possible you have to seek out what you can eat, without having stool problems afterwards. I hope you have the best outcome after the reversal, don't worry about the reversal itself, the is really the easiest part of all! Good luck! (Also wanted to say how brave you are to walk in public with your bag exposed! You are a powerwoman)

You're looking great!! Good luck with your reversal surgery! I didn't know David worked at a lab, is he a phlebotomist too? If Teddy keeps having accidents, take water bowl away after a certain time at night so hopefully he will be fine thru the night.
He's a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. He just gets really excited when the kids come home he pees lol I didn't want to limit his water because it is 112 degrees over here 🥵🔥

I got mine done this morning and it’s by far the worst thing ever! You are fully awake while they are doing it and the pain was no joke. I was almost in tears but im glad I got it over with. Next step is scheduling my takedown surgery. Good luck!! 💗
Girl its never too early for Fall/Halloween, im super jealous of all the stores you guys have. Here in Australia its hardly celebrated, the only good place is Tk maxx which is the uk/aus version of TJ maxx but my state is in lockdown so I cant even check there 😭

@@VanessaLPZ1 mine said she’d attempt internal stitches too for either Barbie Butt or J-pouch. I lost my colon too so they have to remove this diseased rectum and make a new. Two surgeries for me. Just one if I have them sew me up (Barbie Butt) and keep Ileostomy perm.

Why do you need to take Algebra ? I was done with that in high school, in NY.🤔Did not need it in college , but I did take advanced English courses because my major was linguistics. Good luck with your procedures💕
It’s a college math algebra and they require you to take all these classes as pre requisites for the sonography program

Be prepared for a permanent colostomy. Jus' sayin' from a rectal cancer survivor. I wasn't prepared mentally and when it happened I took it very badly emotionally.

In Australian we have a system that all Australians get very good free healthcare. However I know things are different in the USA.

Yes things are very different here. So I have insurance through my husband by his employer he pays insurance for the family. Our insurance has a deductible of $3,000 once I meet that out of pocket everything is covered. But in most cases a lot of insurances only pay 80% of the bills depending on the insurance you have. If you can’t afford monthly payments for insurance (which are very costly) than you can apply for government medical/Medicaid. But they take an extremely long time to approve anything or give you a lot of problems too. There’s a saying here you have to lose an arm and a leg to survive. Very expensive to just stay alive.
So your hubby’s boss pays your family’s health insurance? His work make the monthly insurance payments?
Mostly all companies provide insurance for their employees and it comes out of their paycheck automatically

Sometimes our cells just replicate too rapidly and that creates cancer. I’m not sure but I’m thinking it’s environmental

I've had my ostomy since I was 4..it's not big deal to me now at 55.....I have so many stories from first dates to my husband at age 21....it's all good. Just gotta deal with it and laugh! Btw...I've leaked more times than I can count...I don't even care anymore and just laugh.
