The best two (outside of the overpriced Jupiter) are the Doscincos and Estrellas if you like bass. The treble on Doscincos are very good but not sibilant. The Estrellas have more upper air but can be much if sensitive. Bass stands out and more in front on Doscincos. It’s a better basshead set than many advertised as basshead sets. The treble and mid bass on the Deuce is not as well done as onDoscincos. Just get a $15/$20 2 pin cable as the cables suck, but you’re paying for great drivers and sound.
btw I’ve been suggesting to Ziigaat for months that they need a 1DD 2 BA 2 EST iem under $500, but Kiwi Ears beat them to it. I think Ziigaat will come out with one in 2025. How many iems can one company make between $100-$300 and then have nothing until $1600? Then make a 2DD using Doscincos/Estrellas tech with 2BA 2 EST for $550. This is the iem I’m waiting for. For me I think Doscincos with ESTs may be my end game. The Punch is great but I want to see what Ziigaat does with ESTs as well.
100%! If you're looking for tonally balanced and great all rounders with superb bass, Estrella and Doscinco are hard to beat. Heard you on the cable, too... ZiiGaat needs to figure out something to deliver a better experience in that regard. I think that's a great suggestion. I would love to see where they can venture from here and really make some awesome tunings with different driver arrangements. I think ZiiGaat has huge potential in expanding their lineup with some other great sets. Fingers crossed we get some bangers in 2025 from them.
There is a lesser known one missing here from this review. The other HBB collab the Jupiter the only Ziigaat with an EST driver and from what ive been able to gleam one of the few iems on the market that use both BAs and dynamic drivers for bass.
Cincotres and Estrella seemed the best for me according to this video… I like my clean, clear mids and airy treble. Jomo Nautilus is a treble-head dream but it can occasionally be a bit too much and some male vocals can be a tad too thinly colored.
Cincotres and Estrella were probably my two favorite by the end of my listening, it was hard picking between those two for my personal pick. I hear you on that description of the Nautilus - really great treble, just eh vocals. It's been a while since I've listened though, I'd like another session with that one.
@ the vocals are very forward and almost inside your head… but because the treble emphasis, some male vocals can sound a bit lean. But I still like the set a LOT… it has a crazy good stage and detail ability.
shorter/wider bore tips work wonders quite often. even a TWS tip can be an interesting change where the end of the tip ends up flush with the end of the iem nozzle edit: estrella the best looking IEM in the game (disclaimer: jay subscriber/doscinco owner 😇)
Thanks I really enjoy my estrella, I a little bit fatiguing and over priced, 250 would be a fair price I think, but the details retrieval, soundstage and the fun factor is really good and my library is mainly extreme metal and they work great for busy and fast music
I hardly tell a difference between Estrellas and Relentless that rn goes for 99$ aside from slight tuning changes, Relentless is a bit more engaging/exciting. Audio "hobby" is just consumerism sh%tfest tbh, most stuff people would be better with cheaper (considering how good cheaper stuff are anyways) and EQ. If i tune the Relentless to Estrellas they sound nearly identical so you overpay for tuning and "branded" drivers you can't tell apart anyways unless you're Head-Fi Andy who hears the grass growing.
@@3ildcardsure it's a shitf.... st for consumer, anyway never tried the iem you are talking about but the tuning is something, technical abilities is really something else, if they are as resolving with the same holographic soundstage well sure they are very good, got to check
@@3ildcardI wish I could here the grass growing 😅but now I got swallow by the hobby just few years ago, still a noob but I've tried many iems and there is really something happening with the estrella every time I listen to them, maybe I'm biased probably 🤷
Yeah, maybe not so much an upgrade so to say. Just a different tuning that I enjoyed more than Doscinco, though Doscinco held its own across the board in my comparative listening and even did some things better in general.
Lol, I actually have no idea. I guess it is now...? Just came to mind when I was detailing that IEM, and I didn't know how else to address folks (like me) who can get obsessive about vocal clarity and presence in the mix.
Estrellas can hang with sets up to $400/$500 but when you start getting into ESTs, it can’t compete. The Punch at $450 is a better, more refined Estrella. I have both. No driver flex on my Estrellas or Doscincos. Only felt that with my Empire Ears Bravado mkII wasn’t too bad.
I have tangzu wan'er. I liked its forward vocals, some clarity and little bit subbass in this. I want to upgrade on more better vocals, better bass and sub bass, excellent surround sound, stage and better separation in the sound. My budget is 100-120$. Can you suggest me the best one as the endgame. Basically an much better upgrade
I may have to just pick up the Tangzu Wan'er myself since I still haven't heard it, sadly. I've heard a lot of great things about that one, but until I hear it myself, can't necessarily say what I'd recommend is an upgrade. However, within the ZiiGaat lineup, I'd strongly encourage you to consider the Arcadia! I think myself and my colleague (Marty) were really impressed by that one, and most commonly talked about how it had some of the best vocals we heard in a sub $200 IEM. Not many of what we carry at Bloom really competes with that one in terms of vocal engagement. The Celest Relentless may be my second recommendation, though. That one has really solid vocal presence and great clarity to them!
I appreciate your honest approach Matthew! Thanks for a great review
The man himself 👊 This means a lot to me, James! Thanks for watching!
Holy shit that hoodie is amazing. I can't believe you made that 🤣
I was hoping someone would appreciate it, LOL! Been wearing it non stop, easily a new favorite of mine.
Great review Matt
Much appreciated, 20k 😉
This is exactly what I have been needing - Ziigaat had too many, too similar (on paper) and well reviewed hybrids to choose.

Great! So glad to hear that. Was really excited to put this one together, so I'm glad you enjoyed it 😁
I purchased the Estrella which has the most driver, then autoEq to all the other Ziigaat, case close.
Simple as that 😎 Happy listening!
Is that work?
I don't own the Odyssey, but when I do the EQ, The Estrella do become more safe and smooth and listenable for longer session.
Nice comparison Matthew

Agreed. Cincotres is special.

Estrella is legit the best iem I've heard under 1k.. it's so well rounded
Mine has very bad driver flex on the left ear piece rendering it unusable and Linsoul gives no flying f-ck.
