That truck is Manly looking asf dude! Dang! I would drive it waaaaay too much! Hahaha! You can just chill and drive the speed limit and have a blast it that I bet!
Yeah man it's an awesome cruiser for sure and comfy too. I take trips in it as well and having all power options, cruise control, and a stickshift at the same time makes it a perfect daily for me. Appreciate the kind words 🤙🤙🤙
what clutch did you go with ??? i need to upgrade i have a 05 silverado 5 speed 4.8 truck norris cam also and the factory clutch isnt happy. any recommendations for clutch and fly wheel set ups?
I'm honestly not sure. I wouldn't think it would be a problem as you will need a tune to run any aftermarket camshaft for your engine. You can have the tuner tune your truck to pass emissions most of the time utilizing a lean burn cycle in the lower segments of the rpm and throttle inputs.
Well the good thing is that these trucks were offered with a 4.8 V8 and a 5-speed manual from the factory so you can use all OEM parts. Also a lot of V6 trucks had the same exact transmission so you may have good luck finding a lot of what you need at a salvage yard. My guess is you can get everything you need for around $1000 depending on what you can find local or buy new.
@@ArkArmy90 the nv3500 is about the same as the 4l60 for daily driving abuse, if you want a better trans then I'd recommend the nv4500 from the HD trucks or even the zf6. All factory trans used in the gmt800 platform. All use most of the same parts
Gorgeous truck dude
Thanks for the compliment man 🤙🤙
What seats are wheels are those?? LOOKING GOOD!
The seats are factory Regency seats that come in these RST trucks and the wheels are Cosmis Racing XT-006R 20x9's. Thanks man! 🤙🤙🤙

@@hebeb394 that's very good info do you know if the 5 speeds were stronger than the 4l60e or would I have to build that up as well ?

@@hebeb394 very good thank you so much
@@ArkArmy90 no problem man, id recommend the nv4500 as the zf6 may require a small body lift to fit in the transmission tunnel
