    I don't understand how two such seemingly quiet and reserved people can just totally rock out on stage. Love them!

    Love their voices when speaking as much as when they re singing. Music's a whiff of fresh air.

      I hate their stupid whispering gimmick.

      I'm not entirely sure that the way they speak is a gimmick. In all of the interview footage of them that I've watched I have never heard them speak any differently. I could be wrong though, of course.

    I love how raw the both of them are about the circumstances surrounding the formation of the band, their ability to bring that to their art shows in the work, very inspirational, and humbling, for me see that, I have great respect for their work.

    Hi I'm an Australian I first heard Wet Leg on triple j radio station, fell in love with their work straight away. Groovy tunes and clever cheeky lyrics. Very uplifting music and I can't wait to see them live.

    What a beautifully honest account of what went before. I found myself sharing space with Chaise Longue in a song contest for Australia. My song won't win - how could it when up against a giant of a hit like Chaise Longue. Go get 'em girls!

    This is hilarious, they kicked Rhian out of their band! I suppose she needed to pair with Hester for them both to be really successful but the old band members must have some thoughts on events. Love Wet Leg! :-)

    The only reason I initially watched any of their videos on TH-cam was based on Roland from Tears For Fears recommending them. I saw a thumbnail for the video for Wet Dream and thought, why not, lets take a look, if Roland likes them theyve gotta be worth a look..... And, its addictive. Melodic, doesnt take itself too seriously and its fun.
    I like 'em. Bought the album and I think they'll do well. In the right place at the right time.

    I have not been so switched onto a band for many years. There is nothing I dislike. The more I discover, the more endearing it is.
    I'm only sad because I'll never be able to say 'well done' in person.

      @@lordtrimly I’m not comparing my music to theirs , what I do is an entirely different thing , that said, all my music is available on all streaming platforms and it’s also on TH-cam. I have a tiny little fan base of around 3 people who like what I’ve produced and like the messages I’m trying to send, I don’t crave popularity or fame. I am in my 50s and I have been recording my music since 1984. Im still here and I’m making music everyday because I need to get it out of my head and into a composition

    • @_GOV_
      @_GOV_ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@4WDJUSTY I saw another interview where Hester considers her guitar like a shield when performing. I can very much relate to this as I was very similar when I played in bands years ago. I am not very outgoing at all and if I had my guitar strapped to me, I felt protected in a way. I may be wrong, but that is the vibe I am getting from her.
