Which Disney Villain Would Win SQUID GAME?
Yes, we’re still talking about Squid Game, but we wanted to chat about something a bit different today. One fun thing about Squid Game is theorizing how certain fictional characters would react in the games, and that got us thinking about Disney villains. Disney has a wide repertoire of villains at their disposal, some of which are iconic and some who are lesser-known, but which one of them would survive the Squid Games?

Removing Silver's arm does deny him advantage, but, innately starts him with a handicap. Give the danged chef a 'normal' prosthetic hand and he might pass the cookie test.

I don't think Hans would lose the glass bridge. I think he would push people over and watch from the distance.
Yeah, they said he would have gone with one, I doubt he would have for one in Frozen he was clearly in it for the long game. So, for one he wouldn't have gone with number one. He's smarter than that, infact I am pretty positive he would made him look indifferent to others picking lowers numbers than him making himself last most likely.
Yeah Hans is just like Lord Shen because he don't care for those in his way but in a more cruller way because we all know Lord Shen he's much more cruller than Hans.
Regardless, I doubt Hans would be the winner of Squid Game if he's up against Commander Rourke.
Also unlike Rourke and Frollo, Hans has actually SURVIVED being thrown off something... granted just when he was punched off a boat but still I think that means he probably would do better then either of them when it comes to actually making it across the glass as both have bad experiences with heights. Though yeah if it was a one on one fight Hans wouldn't win against Rourke... hell he wouldn't win against Frollo with how easy Anna took him out so...
But he will soon die to someone stronger than him
“Cruella has the steady hand of a smoker” 😂 I can tell you, we are not steady-handed - it’s more likely to cause shaking, especially if you’re withdrawing, and stress makes it worse. Cruella wouldn’t have lasted long there 😂😂

I definitely thought Frollo would die in the Glass Stepping Challenge in the same way as the Pastor Guy in the very episode.
He is extremely arrogant to the point of delusion.

Now gonna guess the order of elimination and how/why by your predictions.
Game 1: Red Light Green Light
30th: Evil Queen-Did not stop in time and was caught by the doll.
29th: Queen of Hearts-Accidentally moved in shock after witnessing the Evil Queen get shot.
28th: Michael Yagoobian-Goes into a panic after both Queens were shot.
27th: Madam Mim-Ran out of time during the event, and forgot she’s not bullet proof.
Game 2: Honeycomb
26th: Captain Hook-Broke his shape almost immediately by accident.
25th: The Coachman-Got too frustrated with the challenge, obviously picked the umbrella, accidentally breaking his shape in the process.
24th: Gantu-The sound of a soldier shooting The Coachman, cause the Coachman was next to him, accidentally caused him to break his shape.
23rd: John Silver-Was caught cheating in the game.
22nd: Cruella de Vil-Ran out of patience needed causing her cookie shape to break.
21st: Amos Slade-Due to so much pressure and his old age, couldn’t finish his shape in time, and accepted his defeat.
Midnight Hour
20th: Alameda Slim-Was informed by Yzma that Gaston has been cutting in line a lot for eggs, and made the mistake of confronting Gaston and was beaten to death by the latter.
19th: Yzma-Was killed by Namaari for ratting out Gaston, as the 2 formed an alliance, especially now that killing your competition increases your chances of winning the cash prize.
18th: Turbo-Like Alameda Slim, makes the mistake of trying to fight Gaston and is beaten to death.
17th: Edger-Pleads for mercy when confronted by Clayton and Rourke whom formed an alliance as well only to be killed by Shan Yu.
Game 3: Tug of War
16th-12th: Lady Tremaine, Madam Medusa, Dr. Facilier, Mother Gothel, and Callaghan-Couldn’t co-operate with each other and are pulled to their deaths by the combined Teamwork of Rourke, Clayton, Shan Yu, Hans, and Namaari(who was tricked and betrayed by Gaston)(only 1 round of Tug of War was played)
Game 4: Marbles
11th: Gaston-Was pitted against Ratcliffe and easily lost all of his marbles to him, guess you can say Karma caught up to him.
10th: Bill Sykes-Was pitted against Frollo, who kept tricking him every step of the way, feeling like Frollo cheated, he threatened to pummel the old man, only to be shot by the soldier monitoring them for trying to use violence.
9th: Namaari-She competed against Hans and was doing well till she was tricked by him into eavesdropping on the others buying Hans enough time to steal her marbles, resulting in her elimination.
8th: Shan Yu-Was pitted against Jafar and was winning till the evil sorcerer, did a quick and sneaky play without the Hun leader noticing till too late as Jafar stole all of his marbles, eliminating Shan Yu.
7th: Clayton-Was competing against his ally, Rourke, and both appeared to be evenly matched till they decided to play one more game to decide who wins, to which Rourke is declared the winner, as the 2 bid farewell to each other as Clayton is eliminated.
(Remaining 5 find out that Ursula is alive due to her not having a partner so she was allowed to skip the marble game)
Game 5: Glass Stepping Stones
6th: Prince Hans-Made the mistake of choosing the 1st number cause he wanted to be the hero, successfully made it across many panels safely till he got nervous about continuing any further, resulting in getting pushed to his death by Ratcliffe.
5th: Ratcliffe-Refused to die for anyone else to live, and was pulled to his death by Ursula.
4th: Ursula-Was fed up with Ratcliffe’s behavior and cause he at one point betrayed her for refusing to be her partner in marbles, sacrificed herself to kill Ratcliffe.
3rd: Jafar-Was doing exceptionally well in figuring out which glass were safe till the lights were turned off and was pushed on the wrong glass by Frollo, falling to his death.
Game 6: Squid Game
2nd: Frollo-Despite showing some strength, he was no match against Rourke who is stronger and a far more experienced fighter.
1st: Rourke-Winner!
Now the reason I would say Shan Yu would co-operate easily and win in Tug of War, is something that was left out, Shan Yu is also a team player and possibly knowing Gaston deceived Namaari because he threw her infront of him. Shan Yu would inform and admit to Rourke and Clayton that woman are just as skillful as men, even Hans would admit it due to being punched off a boat by Anna.
I know this is a bit late, but couldn’t it also be possible that Jafar could have been killed after all three crossed the bridge and then he got pelted by the glass by standing closest to the edge since that happened in the show? I feel like if Jafar was going to place 3rd, this would be the way it would have happened.

I'd argue Namaari might survive marbles. She has an ability that few on this list have--making people genuinely like her. Several villains on this list (Ursula, Jafar, and Rourke to name a few that made it to that round) have a soft spot for other characters/minions on their side. If Namaari were to position herself as a lieutenant to one of these villains, there is a high chance that she could get symathy just long enough to take the marbles and run.
Honestly, I think she could’ve gotten farther. She’d be able to get through Marbles, has a decent chance at the Glass Stepping Stones and might even be able to get across and she could prove herself in the last round and maybe win. Maybe that’s just me thinking that. Idk.
What's interesting to note, most villains are clearly the villain right up front.
Rourke, he's basically just the one leading the team and it isn't revealed until like the third act that he's the true Antagonist of the film . . .
I agree with Rourke. This is the same guy that almost Killed his opponent in hand to hand combat, much less against a person with a similar build to Frollo.
question would be that how the villains might spend that prize money. no idea what Rorke does in his spare time but i guess he'd use the money to fund his political career. but if Frollo got the money he would have made a sizable donation to Notre Dame for renovations and new furniture.
I'm so happy Frollo made it this far! He's my favorite villain. Also I'm glad Rourke won (he's a GREAT but underrated villain) and that my boy Gaston didn't die at the first round lol
But John Silver didn’t become a bad guy until somewhere in the middle of the movie. And near the end, he gave up his greed just to save someone. And then he went on an adventure of his own at the end.
I think Ursula could beat the glass bridge. She has long tentacles and could stretch them out to slam each glass to determine which one was tempered. She could also pull herself up if she started to fall.
She is really heavy, but I understand you're logic. ;)

I had not heard much about the Squid Games until this point. You did an outstanding job with the brief introductions to each round, and while I like Frollo a lot, I agree with the decision that he would fall to Rourke.
Great list! I would only have to disagree with the manipulative ways of Gaston and Clayton. While Gaston thinks of the plan to marry Belle by threatening to take away her father, Clayton gets Tarzan to tell them where the apes live, so Jane would stay.
Really like this concept! Please place characters or villains from other series in Squid Games to see how’d they’d turn out!

I would not eliminate shan yu in the marbles game, the fact that he was able to trick the army into thinking they were victorious and secretly sneaking into the city to kill the emperor proves him to be a mastermind.
I enjoyed this far better than the normal good to evil. You should do this for the animalistic villains.

@@chadpeterson5698 yeah agreed, although I think Scar downplays his strength a bit to seem less like a threat. Scar obv isnt as physically strong as Mufasa or even Simba. And tigers generally would have the advantage 1v1 vs lions.
Prince John would obviously lose
But I must agree that Roark would win. Strength, Manipulation, Cunning, and not needing an ego, makes him a skilled villain

@@MisaelMatute76 Well said, and he doesn’t underestimate who he’s fighting. He wouldn’t have tried to prioritize killing Mulan otherwise. It really comes down to who he has to oppose in the final game or if he doesn’t get caught off-guard in the glass bridge, but eliminating him in marbles? They really undersold him there!
@@markwilson4078 Good points 👍 People forget if it wasnt for Mulan accidently seeing he was still alive, he would have won. Used his fake death and a few of his soldiers that survived to almost bring down an entire nation.

Are we gonna have a Disney heros squid game. I'm gonna say Mulan would win
Red light Green light, well she is a trained soldier so the commands would be simple plus she is level headed
Sugar Cookie wouldn't be that much of an issue. Through her training it showed she had to train in patience, and I refer the the fish scene in the 'I'll make a man out of you' song scene so that's a pass
Midnight brawl: she is a trained combatant and strategic enough to stay out of sight even then I doubt the hero's would kill one another
Tug of war: She is a pretty strong woman and also a good team player, after all she was in the army and worked with the four finest soldiers I'm china. So there's a pass
The marble game: if manipulation is a factor, she had a whole army think she was a guy. Not only that she is one smart cookie, figuring out how to retrieve the arrow and what angle to use to wipeout the hun army
Glass stepping stone would be a problem, but considering her intelligence she would probably pick a middle number and play it safe from there
As for squid game, the only person I think would give her trouble would be Rapunzel, Raya, maybe Moana. Moana and Rapunzel probably stand no chance against Mulan, so let's say it's Mulan vs Raya. This is conflicting since they are both trained warriors, very intelligent people, and are badasses. I'd give it to Mulan though, as good as Raya is I kinda feel like Mulan being able to take down other skilled warriors, quick thinking, and martial art skills give her an edge, but hey it could go either way
She would totally lose to Rapunzel in tug of war 😐😜🤣
They should do Disney princesses and then Disney princes
Actually, after re-evaluating, Rapunzel will falter in the marble game. She has intelligence & wit to make it beyond Red Light Green Light (Charts stars & knows the lights aren't the same thing). Her sewing anilities give her precision to make it past Sugar Honeycomb. She's actually a decent fighter but more importantly capable of charming a bunch of strangers to her side. Girl lifted a woman daily up & down a tower so her strength will be a benefit on tug of War. Marbles is where she fails because she would not have it in her to manipulate someone to their death.
Moana I actually think doesn't have the patience or fine precision necessary for Honeycomb (she iterally rushes to sea with 0 understanding of how to navigate or sail on open water...twice, with the first time nearly killing her).

I'm amazed that Frollo even made it very far.
We know for sure that Bellweather will be useless because framing someone results in instant elimination.
That and there's no way she'd cut the shape out of the honeycomb with hooves.

@@ChazWalser Shan Yu is also a tactician so he would probably know how to win quickly and effectively all at once, and he's a highly effective leader, in fact he almost won.
@@chadpeterson5698 True but his weakness is manipulation, which in fairness is why he would be eliminated in Marbles, so most likely he would lose if he was paired up with either Frollo, Ursula, Roark, Prince Hans, or Jafar, his only best chance of surviving is if he was paired with Gaston who stinks at chess meaning Gaston would easily die first in Marbles. But for Clayton’s elimination, most likely he was paired up with Roark due to them being team players with Roark winning in the end.

Fun fact: a lot of Disney villains actually met their doom through falling. Ironically, NO VILLAIN LIKE GASTON SURVIVES THE TUG-OF-WAR round surprisingly since he has manly muscles. But of course no mere man like Gaston would have the mind to avoid getting tricked! Talk about irony that he will die not in either of the games whose death involve falling. He wouldn't survive Glass Stepping Stones anyway, though, just don't tell it to him or his ego explodes.
Gaston would definetely be the first overconfident guy, who gets shot the 1st
That or if we say he made it to marbles, would be the first to die due to sucking at manipulation and wits
@@ChazWalser He’s alright enough at manipulation given he did convince a town to go with him to kill The Beast, but I do agree he is not very intelligent past that. There are characters who got taken out sooner than Gaston like Facilier who are way smarter and more manipulative than him. Really, the only reason Gaston would even make it to marbles would be due to his sheer strength.

@@ChazWalser Exactly! I love Facilier as a villain, but strength is the one area that kills him in any of these games. If this had not been his big issue, he would have been a big candidate to win the whole thing.
I doubt he would survive the glass stepping stones phase anyway... If he don't fall in Tug-of-war, it's probably another game after it.
I called Commander Rourke when I saw he was in the contestant. He was trown into a game with less calm and less skilled opponents. I think that is one of the things that makes him a great villian. He's not the typical villian with a noticable flaw or weakness.
Wow, I didn't even think that Rourke would win. I was kinda curious how far Ratcliffe and Yokai would get, they got pretty far.
Y'know, I was *absolutely* expecting the Queen of Hearts to not make it past Red Light, Green Light.
*Extremely* bad temper, does *not* listen to reason, cheats, and *definitely* wouldn't listen to directions, due to one of her most famous lines: "All ways here are *my* ways!"
This is definitely a topic that doesn't need to exist, but does. That's cool...
Horned King and Maleficent I'd like to witness being the final two! With Maleficent winning. Surprised neither are even mentioned.
I wish Dr Facilier survived tug of war because he would have easily win marbles but then he has a huge ego so he would pick 1st on glass stepping stones
Cruella (the fashion designer) gets kicked out in the round involving using a needle? How do you think she got were she is without having the patience and skill to design and make her clothing before she got rich? She should legit be the best at this round.
Even if she made it through, she wouldn’t survive the brawl. Way too scrawny

Yeah, I even made a comment saying that she and Jon Sliver would have lived. Jon Sliver being a chef and most likely knowing how to make honey cone or at least how it works. Second being Cruella herself being a smoker who much another character on the show who smokes. Would have sunk in her lighter with her and used it. But your right those hands aren't just used for smoking there used to design clothes to.
Honestly this. If there’s one round Cruella should have been a shoe-in to survive, it’s that one. If she can deal with people getting shot in Red Light, Green Light, then she can do it again here.
As someone else pointed out though, she would be eliminated in the Midnight Brawl, but this might actually open the door for Edgar since him being a butler and having been a helpful person until learning the cats were in the will and not him could actually mean he can find people such as Cruella to keep him safe. Of course, it won’t really help him far past this, but like I said, he could align with Cruella so that one of them would at least make it out of Midnight Hour.

Captain Hook obviously wouldn't want to give up his hook, but Jon would want a hand to replace his cool prosthetic.

Personally, I think Shan Yu would make it though marbles. He is brilliant and was able to infiltrate the festival at the end of the movie. I think he would make in through, and then win the whole game

Let’s see which ones I might disagree with:
Game 1 - Actually, all of those 4 dying here make sense. I feel like Mim would be the last to die in this round though due to her not crossing the finish in time.
Game 2 - Coachman I disagree with. You gave him the Gold Medal in brains in Dumb to Brilliant because of how complex his operation was, so honestly, he would have no problem keeping himself steady for the honeycomb. In fact, he could actually have made a very deep run since he can heave donkeys into cages and the very reason he won gold in Dumb to Brilliant could help him in say marbles. I think he could make it to the glass challenge.
Cruella - Didn’t she want to make a jacket out of 101 puppies? That requires a LOT of precise patience even if she was successful, so she would pass this and fall in the next round.
John Silver - He has culinary experience that could help him, and I imagine if allowed a prosthetic hand, he would have no trouble in this round. Like Coachman, I would put him in the glass.
Additional Note: If Skroop had been added, he would have been out here. His claws would keep him from ever getting any shape right.
Midnight - Edgar - He is one of the friendlier Disney villains, so I doubt that he would be targeted this early. In fact, some might look at his success in the honeycomb and decide they might want to recruit him as an ally, especially if the likes of Coachman, Cruella, or John Silver had made it past as well. Even without them, someone like Facilier or Frollo could look to scout him as well. I have Edgar going in Tug of War.
Round 4 - Mother Gothel - I am actually eliminating her earlier. Remember, she needs Rapunzel to stay young. She won’t have Rapunzel in a Squid Game scenario, so in reality, she would have been gone in Red Light, Green Light by not even making it to the game before age caught up to her.
For everyone else, their placement’s fine, but I doubt they would all be put on the same team. If they by luck did advance, I could see the following results:
Madam Medusa - Marbles (she would end up like Sykes)
Tremaine - Glass (she would lose Allie’s quick because, as pointed out, she does not have a team mentality to help her survive)
Callahan - Glass (does not have enough intelligence compare to the other villains to talk his way out of going first)
Facilier - Squid Game (given he deals with friends on the other side, he inherently is very good at manipulation and given he knows he would be doomed if he failed, he would use this to allow himself to pick a number that would make his turn closer to last and learn from the mistakes of others. However, his severe lack of strength would cost him in the final game.)
Round 5 - Shan Yu - The only way he would lose is if his opponent was a better manipulator than he, and he knows not to underestimate his opponents. Why do you think he went after Mulan over everyone else in the final fight? He knew what she was capable of and went for that. So no, he would make it past the marbles. Not only that, but he would be on the table to win the entire thing. He would just have to get rid of Roarke in the glass challenge so as to make the final fight easier for himself.
Gaston - Like Gothel, I am taking Gaston out in an earlier round. He is not a patient man and quite narcissistic, which would work against him in the honeycomb. He can do just enough to survive Red Light, Green Light as long as he didn’t mind watching some people die, but he would think the honeycomb was beneath him and refuse to do the challenge, eliminating him then and there.
Round 6 - Jafar - Like you mentioned, the guy has a keen eye. He was also the one who told Iago to be patient when looking for the diamond in the rough. All this will allow him to be able to wait long enough to observe what mistakes others made and what he needed to do in order to pass.
Final Round - I don’t disagree with the winner or loser here. Both make sense given this particular matchup.
If the aforementioned additions of Facilier, Shan Yu, and Jafar joined, Shan Yu would most likely take the crown by first getting rid of Jafar while Roarke still took out Frollo. Deciding Roarke would be a tougher opponent, Shan Yu would team up with Facilier and take out Roarke, allowing Shan Yu to take an easy final win.
This is bound to become a whole new thing for this channel. Perhaps we'll see villans of other studios and networks duke it out in Squid Game.
In fact, I can see some fan animation depicting the whole mess.
Though I'm not sure if MLP villans would compleete in Squid Games because not only do most of them have magical advantages, but MLP villans are far in between, and about 3/4ths of them turn over a new leaf by the finalie. I CAN'T bare to see Sunset Shimmer kick the bucket!
I didn't think Clayton would lose marbles, since he manipulated Tarzan and the others.
I actually think Cruella would have done very well with the honeycomb game considering she’s designed fur coats she would have a very steady hand. She’d probably get eliminated in the night battle though because she’s skin and bone and probably wouldn’t think to hide due to her loudness and impatient personality. But great video though.

Rourke was actually a decent choice, an all-rounder villain with no glaring weakness. Manipulation, team leadership, charisma, martial skill, tactics, eyes strictly on the prize, professional and relatively even tempered, he's definitely got the all-round skillset, a jack-of-all trades who is actually damn good in all areas even if not the absolute best.

Too bad Peg Leg Pete, Maleficent, Prince John, The Horned King, Ratigan, Scar, and Hades couldn’t be in the game due to the rules. How would you eliminate them if you didn’t exclude them? Even if the Horned King and Hades were mortal?
I know nothing about The Horned King, but here’s I would personally place the other villains you listed.
Prince John - Red Light Green Light: I’d argue he would be the very first villain to go. He is not someone who would care to follow directions because he believes himself to be a king and isn’t smart enough to even realize what kind of situation he was in.
Pete - Honeycomb: He would do fine in the first challenge, but doing the Dalgona? Probably not. He doesn’t strike me as someone who’s patient.
Scar, Maleficent, and Ratigan all fall in Tug of War. They are all smart enough to use stealth in the Midnight Brawl to pass through, but none of them have the strength needed to win Tug of War. Ratigan is far too small, Maleficent far too weak unless she was put in a stronger team, and Scar? He did mention when it came to the brawns, it was Mufasa who got the lion’s share, meaning he was a far weaker Lion than his brother.
Hades would win the whole thing, and would be one of the few villains who can beat Roarke in a one-on-one fight. He knows how to keep his temper in check despite having a massive short fuse, is a darling at being manipulative, he is unbelievably smart given he knew how to make Hercules as weak as possible, and he has the muscles to back him up.

@@cartershute9418 Use your imagination to figure out what a mortal Hades would look like. Appearance-wise would probably keep his physique and personality, way I see it. The only thing that would really change is his hair would no longer be flames. His muscles and the fact he’s a very good chess player would still play to his advantage.
Let’s take a look at Scar for example. When I went over Scar, although I never mentioned this, I did actually try to imagine what Scar would look like as a human. If he got the short of the stick compared to Mufasa, then it would reflect on a human version of Scar as someone who is skinny, not exactly strong, but someone who is smart.

I don't know if Pixar villains in Squid Games would work especially if they used the same rules as the Disney villains.

Something tells me the competition would be over long before the final round with Syndrome being the likely winner, MAYBE Skinner if Syndrome can't use his powers.

The thing with these are that you don’t have to just take in their skills you also have to take in whether they’ll follow the rules or work with people since two games depend on that. Also if you’re not being cooperative they may just kill you or the other players may see you as a threat and target you. Also also whether they can be easily manipulated

Yzma should be the real winner here. She’s crazy when it comes to getting what she wants, kicked Kuzco and Pacha’s ass, is acrobatic as hell, and can take one hell of a beating. She’s damn unstoppable. There’s no way in hell she would die that early.
