    Anybody can boost voltage to 5V but if you have no current nothing is going to charge anytime soon. It takes at least 250ma and .5amps for a healthy charge. at the rate he's charging in the video you would need 50 candles and a 2 week vacation to charge a phone.

    • @antoniusmilesdale6120
      @antoniusmilesdale6120 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      250ma and .5 amps? So what .75a? You mean .5amp and 5v. If you have no voltage you have no current.

  • @GadgetAddict

    It will trigger the 'charging' alert of your phone but it's pushing in like 0.05W. Your average wall charger will push in 5W.

      Gadget Addict yeah mine only push 0.04 Amp. how do i boost the amp so that i can charge my phone?

    • @Kristoff2005
      @Kristoff2005 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No! That's where the boost converter comes in hand. Tho you need to clock it to 5 volts exact so that it can charge the device. Idk about the ampheres, yes it is able to charge so that concludes that the ampheres might be converted. But this concept is effective for survival or a sudden blackout and if you only have a candle it would be great

      @@Kristoff2005don rely on the voltage. You should know what is the peak power that module can produce. Assume that, the power produced only 1W, so it will always 1W even though you boost or buck the voltage, the power will stay the same, moreover because of the module efficiency, the power output will be less than 1W also..

    Could have flexible peltier effect heat pump be put inside of a shirt capable of charging your phone, like the entire shirt would be made out of this flexible material, because your shirt probably isn't the best place for it but your body is probably colder than the air.

    • @kiyoponnn
      @kiyoponnn 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It doesn't sacrifice anything you dumbass. Voltage and current are connected through the power equation. If the voltage is boosted the current must decrease so that power remains constant, since you can't make something out of nothing

    why dont use a l7805 instead the lm2596 and car circuit ?

    • @bro_leo
      @bro_leo 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Bro, LM2596 module are more efficient than LM7805 linear regulator. LM2596 is a switching buck converter module that will chop the voltage and convert the excess input voltage to current on the output. Therefore, the output current will be higher than the input. While linear regulator such LM7805 cannot do the same thing. They only cut the voltage to 5V but can't increase output current but the current from the input will be the same as output. So it will waste energy to heat.

      Depends on the battery capacity of your phone and how much ampheres and voltage your boost converter gives. I'd recommend 5 volts tho the ampheres is not changable it will still power a phone in an emergency
      Note: this is not for normal use it is for emergencies only like for survival or blackout

    pls answer me

    • @Kristoff2005
      @Kristoff2005 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually yes! It is necessary for the other side of the peltier to cool down and the other to heat up.
      If you don't use a heatsink you'll need to clock the boost converter to 5 volts.
      To make it simpler the other side cools the other heats, without a heatsink the voltage is low so you need to convert it a little higher

      No try it for yourself the peltier does exist if you research! And some are like "Oh, no! It can't give the power to charge a phone!!" that's why a boost coverter is given for, do a research and you'll find that it converts a voltage higher or lower and he already clocked it to 5 volts.
