Wow, what a wonderful gift this has been. I wanted to hear more from Dr. Rubel. I could just sit and soak up his knowledge. The way both of you have presented the information is lined with empathy, compassion, and grace AND with scholarly evidence of God's call in aligning with His good and perfect plan for us to flourish. I want to hear more.

They push conformity to this world over conforming to God's kingdom.
They don't understand what it means to be trans so their reasoning is distorted from the truth.

thank you Rubel, this is very enlightening to me and I have a personal interest in this subject. One of my family members is gay and he knows I still love him with all my heart. I've heard all the arguments that confirm his life style. Hearing you talk about the counter arguments is going to help me a lot. I know what it feels like to be called a hater, and it is so ridiculous to automatically consider me a hater because I stand by my convictions. Rubel, it's so good to see you again. much love to you.

It's junk science at best. This guy doesn't want truth. He's a Pharisee. What was thought true must remain true for the sake of this world and at the expense of the soul.

The information that Rubel gave about Plato and the Greek and Roman culture of the time was great. I get the same arguments from time to time that he addressed with this information. So, good!! I wish that 15 minutes hadn't been wasted on setting up a strawman of Christian Nationalism to knock over. I would have liked to have more time on the topic. Anyway, I appreciate the interview with Rubel. I will have to get the book.

Behold the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

I intend on discussing same attractions and how Christians live with them

      That's the LGB.
For trans people mind, heart and soul are very different from the body. This is a broken and fallen world. That means it frequently defies God. So how can the body - your body - be a perfect representation of YOU?
      It cannot.
But this guy is saying your body is exactly what God wants.
Meanwhile he's saying the mind, heart and soul cannot be trusted, even though those come directly from God.

God made Adam and Eve perfect so your body must be perfect, right?
    No?
Then why do you think anyone's body is exactly what God wants for us?

Why must I suffer all day every single day of my life?
God offers healing but you say it's wrong. Why?
Using the creation of Adam and Eve is dishonest. When they were cast out of Eden disease and deformity became possible. The body we have now cannot possibly be God's desire for us. It's the product of a fallen world.
