    Woah, this deserves more views! It fixed the very issue I was having with my Kawai piano. No other videos or anything on the web describes this solution. I put Protek lubricant instead of WD40 out of apprehension though. Thank you so much for the great video!

    Never use WD-40 in a piano (even when working with pedals/trapwork). Protek or PTFE (Teflon) spray or powder are far better and totally safe options.
    WD-40 penetrates deep into wood and bushings and may cause very serious issues. Especially if you use it inaccurately and get some on the pinblock.

    thank you. I have the same problem. Wasn't sure exactly where it was coming from. I'll try putting some PTFE powder or Protek lubricant on those spots.

    Yeah our south African Otto Bach pianos does that alot

    My damper pedal does not move any of the dampers.

    I can tell my piano still new from 2020. But why after having had the maintenance, there's squeaky noise😢😢😢
