Well I did it I went on eBay and bought two Dreamcast systems with a few games. At first I thought I was having problems with my controllers. After a few minutes I was able to get past the date screen and it seemed to function. However after seeing this video I may need ideas to replace the battery in my system. I actually purchased two systems off of eBay. I was able to get one working inserted several games etc. It did seem to function OK however after a few minutes of trying with multiple controllers to get the date to be changed. So maybe the battery needed to be charged I don’t know it was an online charity auction so maybe. I don’t know if I need to just have the second consul plugged in longer to test to see if it can recharge whatever battery but do you have any advice on how to let it sit for a while to charge the battery up. If the battery is OK of course. Anyways I am looking forward to hearing from you. To be honest I purchased these to try to resell them. I resell many items both on eBay and in antique mall here in Lakeland Florida where I live. I sell mostly to provide extra funds for childcare and medical costs for my son who was born premature and is considered developmentally delayed. So any help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Please forgive any grammatical errors as I was dictating this while trying to figure out what my kids wanted for dinner.

    • @RoXolid

The battery isn't rechargeable, it's a Lithium Button battery. The battery status should not affect the controller performance, so I don't know what's going on there.
