- Lobsh is a Coptic word meaning explanation and it is an ecclesiastical term used in praises. It is a portion or a few ones used as an ending for the canticle (Hose). The first canticle lobsh is prayed in the midnight praise after the first Hose that is Moses and Israelites' praise after crossing the red sea (Exodus 15).
Credits to Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church, Santa Ana , CA / archangelmichaeloc for the great performance.

Wait a minute, weren’t the Egyptians the bad guys in this story?
One pharaoh was particularly the bad guy. Also everybody does mistakes. Of course we are not going to deny part of Christianity because we are Egyptians.
Ancient Egypt was blamed for stubbornness in the Old Testament but Egypt was praised and blessed in many other instances.
@@coptichymns1 alright members in union with the successor of Mark the Evangelist, as a member of Apostle Peter’s successor’s church I’m rooting for you all.
Pagans where the bad guys in this story. Those you find among all nations, just like followers of the Lord. +
Where to learn Coptic language for non Christian?
Try going to a coptic church, they give lessons there after the mass. And you will also learn to sing songs, and at the same time knowing the meaning (that is how it is in the coptic church where i go). But if you didn't know, you can translate this video to another language.
@@klarita20 which coptic church do you go to? also I wanna learn the language its the only way to connect to our history and our ancestors before its too late
@@mojo7618try to find a free pdf on Google of the book “So you want to learn Coptic: A guide to bohairic grammar” published by a Coptic church in Australia. it is the best book for beginners and well written. I know it’s available for free if you search it. Also you can practice your Coptic by attending Coptic liturgies and trying to follow along and understand everything as you’re learning
@mojo7618 i live in Belgium haha, there are many in Egypt, Belgium, the Netherlands, and even America. But try looking it up in Google Maps. My parents aren't from Egypt but Syria. And i believe that God send us to a Coptic orthodox Church, going there did a lot of good things to us and i have met a lot people also who are helping me for questions, a priest to confess, to learn more about christianity,...😄 (a Syria orthodox church is too far from our place). But if you in general are looking for a orthodox church, try going to a Armenian , Syria, Coptic orthodox church. Don't stop looking if you don't find a Coptic Church!😊 God be with you in this journey.
@@mojo7618there are some great videos online that I use to become better at Coptic
