Thanks so much for interviewing Pat. I have been following him for years. I first started following his blog in 2009 and I remember him from ehow. The advice I really like is think about your audience and the service them. I like his perspective on affiliate marketing. I love his back story. Very nice tips and advice in this video.
This is great information and I've learned a lot from this video. I've already found an online business that I love that makes me some money. But I want to do something that helps other people like myself who suffer from mental illness. With the main focus being on helping people, not making money. The thing is I've tried blogging and it doesn't seem to be a good fit. I've also tried TH-cam and I'm not doing well at it either. When Pat mentioned that you need to find the business that suits your personality, it hit me. I think I've been just choosing the wrong business models. I know I'm called to help others like me and I will do it. But I need to find the right way to bring the message across. I really appreciate you sharing this video and all that you do, Gillian. Thank you!
Oh Wow ! You have Pat on here. I remember him from my online days in 2009. One of my first ways to earn income online was through ehow and Demand Studios in 2009. Shortly after, I started following Pat's blog when it was about a year old. I remember him taking the time to respond to each comment back then and years later. Thanks for featuring Pat here and I love his advice.
Thank you Gillian and Pat , great questions and to the point answers. Love the comment “it is not a zero sum game”, I really needed to be reminded of that. Yes it is an abundant universe. 😊
Right place, right time, right here! Thank you Gillian and Pat! Unicorns & Rainbows, lol! That's hilarious! Have a great adventure! My favourite piece of information (and there was tons of info in here) was knowing that affiliate marketing and in-house courses were highly profitable! Thank goodness! I have loads of work to do! Lol!
Good interview. Well, at least the parts where my brain was listening. I can't say anything about the parts when my brain decided to run off to never never land and I had to drag it back kicking and screaming.
Truth be told, I didn’t like Pat’s sharing here 😕 maybe it’s just me, but he makes it seem so bright and easy, it almost sounds unrealistic. He doesn’t share the details, how much it takes, the cons (piracy is not a con really), and honestly, I’m getting more practical insight and ideas from Gillian’s videos than from his perspective. That’s good I guess? 🤷🏻♀️I’m just not his audience. I prefer transparency, not fluffy promises. But then again, it might be just me, and I’ve only listened about half an hour. Maybe I’ve missed smth useful in the end. Anyways, thank you, Gillian, for this interview! I’ve learned once again why I love YOUR channel. 🙂
What was your favorite piece of information Pat Flynn shared in this episode? Let me know! ⬇️
Looking forward to reading his new book on learning.

The O.G. Pat Flynn, one of the first podcasters I ever got hooked on. His insight is so valuable.
