Love you Angie! I too, sometimes get overwhelmed with the planning process. But in the end it’s so worth it to feel like you have a plan. But I have found myself just putting it all down just like you did lol. 📚
I can resonate with you because I am constantly telling myself to calm down too 😂. This is why we love Sonlight. Even in hard life seasons, just doing the "bare minimum" (meaning completing the HBL) I am already doing so much with my kids. It's such an amazing program and I'm so thankful to have found it! Love your videos. They help keep me inspired when things get mundane!

we just went back today! it was good to be back in a routine!

Have you ever looked into those "Who HQ" books for history and/or science? They're written on a third or fourth grade level, and my ninth grade struggling readers love them.
I love the idea of using notion for planning but I’m so overwhelmed by notion. Will you please make a video on how you use notion for homeschooling?

Oh don’t skip Justin Morgan had a horse! The audiobook is good! And yes, Walk the World’s Rim is hard but also good. Most books in D & E are hard, but they are great choices!

Where do you get the year-at-glance calendar from, please? Also, the folder you use for your binder, please?
I use this website for calendars:7calendar.com/en/calendar/ And the binder is a 5-star Flex binder!
What are your thoughts on math? I'm torn for my first grader. Looking at Saxon, horizons and cle.
Oh man - I don't know about CLE but I'm pretty sure Saxon and Horizons are similar in that they are both traditional and spiral! Horizons is in color thought!
How do you use audiobooks in your school? (Welcome other's thoughts also.)
Also, what was the name of the audio app besides Libby?
Everand is the other audiobook app we use, but it is a paid subsciption!
