During her Christmas concert she was asked which was her favourite cover, she could not pick one out, but said that it would have to be a song of Billie Holiday or Frank Sinatra. This young lady lives in the music, she appears to have a natural talent, she has so many ways to bring a song to life. As you say, all we need to do is sit back and enjoy the sound - the world is a much better place for having Angelina Jordan... Angelina's timing and use of negative space (I watched a lot of vocal coach reactions to our barefoot princess) is out of this world. Angelina's phrasing is unmatched. Her tone is the most beautiful I ever heard. Her arrangements and choices made while singing are genius. Oh like he said, just enjoy listening to her sing.
To me, this is close to perfection. Just her beautiful face singing into a phone. No gidgey-gadgets, just that miraculous way she gets into your soul. It's a wonderful thing and its you know it's exactly what would sound like if she were sitting across the room from you on a couch singing it to you. 😎

As a 71 year old man that has experienced the best and the worst that love has to offer, this out of all the songs I've seen and heard her do, this one hit me as hard as I have ever been hit. I mean I have seen this video 50 -75 times and I still am crying like a baby. You are right Ellis we should all just sit back and listen to how a pro does it. P.S. I don't know if you heard about the trouble in Kazakhstan, but Daneliya and her family had to leave their home to stay with grandma in the mountains. This was in Almaty where she lives. It lasted a little over a week and I heard over 300 died, I just double checked this total. It was 225 final count still way more than should have died. Daneliya said as the thing started that she couldn't eat or sleep she was so scared. They have since said all are safe and should be heading home soon. Just thought you might like to know.

Adele, like Angelina, adored Amy Winehouse, which was quite evident when she was in the front of the audience as Amy received her Grammy for her 'Back To Black' album. You can see Adele cheering like a school girl when the award was announced. On that album was a single called 'Love Is A Losing Game', which I have no doubt was the genesis for this song. There is a black and white 'Lyrics Version' video with graphics and lyrics while Amy sings it. First off, the graphics combined with moving words across the screen has a style that Angelina used in her own original song 'Million Miles'. Getting back to this song 'Love Is A Game'. As nicely written as it is, compare the lyrics to Amy's song and you will see why George Michael called Ms. Winehouse's lyrics 'simply genius' and far more moving than Adele's. So great was it, that he would sing a cover of it when he performed concerts, and another great singer Sam Smith covered it as well. I'll end by saying that if Angelina sang Amy's song, with vocal ability that far surpasses Amy, it would explode into a humongous hit song, for sure.
