Or, a Tiger 2 was somehow sent to the backrooms without its crew (like if it was in rail or abandoned at the time) or the crew died and it became an anomaly if it’s own. Both possibilities sound cool as hell to me.

The tiger model is scaled right, however the map scale is inconsistent, some objects/meshes is smaller than others and that’s why it appears the tiger is being scaled down
