One summer in the very early sixties our family spent the summer in Maine, while Dad was a grad student, working towards an eventual PhD. We went to Bar Harbour one day and saw the new Maine state record at the time off rod and reel, a 650+ lbs. fish. It was the summer before 3rd grade and I still remember that fish. Also remember watching a commercial flounder plant filet them and the reason I've never had a sardine. We visited a Sardine cannery.
The end of that video was amazing.

I've caught an 88inch bluefin in OBX. Most extreme workout of my life. By the end, my whole body was jello, but we didn't have the rod in a holder. We had a harness that the end of the pole rested in.
