We do not need the government to build our home, we can do it ourselves with the help of the diaspores, but only if they wake up and realize what you see. This is why I am coming back home, This awakening happened to me after traveling around the world.
Very well said. The government alone will not do everything for anyone anywhere in the world. The governed also have a role to play towards the greatness of the country and I'm happy you have considered contributing your quota to national development as that's how the most envious countries on earth did it that they became desirable places to live in. If even as much as 50m of 200+m Nigerians would think of what they can do to better the fortunes of Nigeria, then the country will be greater than it has ever been. But if Nigerians will only be seeking out opportunities to bash the government of the day, then things won't move and the foreign investors or tourists will also look down on the country which means nothing gets done and no new value is added.
I can attest to the Ibom golf course, it is special. Bring loads of ice 🧊 as the heat is nothing you have experienced, the views of palm trees from the hills are to behold.
Well, now that you know there's a place like this. You could perhaps, set up a beach resort or something along those lines in Eastern Obolo or any costal area in the state and advertise it. This becomes your new money spinner in addition to what you already do for a living. That's how Lagos did it. The beach resorts in Lagos are privately owned and run, which creates employment for the youth and increases IGR by means of corporate and income taxes. And the same thing can be achieved here by anyone. It mustn't be an Akwa Ibom citizen.
Beautiful! I appreciate you showing us the beauty and vastness of Nigeria. I believe with our constant prayers the leadership and government of Nigeria will change for the good of the people.
Nigeria is a mixture of culture. Hear the name of the fishing community. Oluekpo okoroete... Tells you these may be the ljaws, lgbos and Efik Mix who settled in the fishing areas for centuries...
The grounds looked beautiful. I hope it is fully open to the public. I agree with what you said about tourism - it seems West African countries are yet to truly invest in this area.
Nigeria should excel as a united entity. But restructuring is long overdue. There needs to be a non-violent revolution to topple the avaricious "ruling class" and all the looted funds dating from 1973 must be recovered. Keep up the excellent work of showing us more hidden treasures and exotic locations inside Nigeria.
Another great video. The beach I akwa ibom looked so beautiful. So much untapped beauty in Nigeria. Do you know if there are any beaches like that around Portharcourt?
The problem with Nigeria is Nigerians, I try not to blame the government anymore. Not until we start rejecting these older generations and start voting young, dynamic, competent people over temporary monetary gains nothing will change in Nigeria.l am not from the east but l watched the election of the new ohaneze recently and felt sorry for nigerians.Younger capable people were there yet they voted for probably the oldest man there.Come on,in this changing digital age how do you expect such people to comprehend lnternet,TH-cam,Facebook,Internet banking, fibre, broadband etc?We can not vote such people in office and expect a modern, digital economic development, just doesn't work like that. You can not give what you dont have.Age does not equate competence, respect should be earned not given for the sake of age..These people don't know the importance of tourism and many other aspect of today's economy, it was never them, yet we keep voting for them.Nice places though, thanks for sharing.
Believe it or not, this is a common issue in many countries..some of the details pertaining to what a government needs to do in order to benefit all people and progress and advance some of its internal and external operations may be different, but the fight of the younger, more dynamic, fearless leaders ready to enact and embrace change, trying to uproot the stagnant, stiff-necked, leaders with only self vested interests, old minds, and unproductive strategies is exactly the same
@@Miranda9Bella ln most countries there is a retirement age, when you stop working not hanging on there for dear life. Look at even African countries the ones that are doing well are the ones with younger leaders,Botswana, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda even Ghana and look at the ones with older generation presidents and compare. The protest and revolution should be to stop these old people from continue in government, that's when true change will happen in Nigeria. The good riple effect of these old people retiring is staggering if you take time and think about it..At the moment they are nothing but bottleneck in the system, holding everything up..
@@suntanglory Yes, very true..I am sorry I probably did not clarify that the older/younger challenge I was referencing was indeed the one faced in governments..many places shamedully do not have a a max age limit or max term limits on some positions or offices, which can keep corrupt leaders, indifferent leaders, or old generation leaders in those offices..in these instances an overwhelming population of the people must come together to demand or petition for new legislation to address limitations.. it is always an uphill battle from many angles..but I was agreeing with you my friend, you share many excellent points..

Thank God you added "if not the bad government ...". Nigeria is the most blessed country in the world with immense human, intellectual, mineral, and natural resources capital. The only BIG minus we have is the most despicable creatures running the government at all levels.

Remove lies because we Nigerians love lieing, how many golf courses you have visited in West Africa?
