At our farm here in Uganda, we peel and dry our plantains to produce plantain flour and the plantain peelings we give to the goats at the farm, the goats give us manure to put back onto the plantain garden. It is amazing! Thanks for the video oga

You are doing amazing. Very ripe plantains can be natural sweeteners for buns, puff puff, cookies and cakes. They are also good sweeteners for smoothies and pudding. May the Lord expand your coast and open you up to limitless horizons. Plantain flour is the best!

Plantain flour is amazing. It taste good. My husband is diabetic and I made it for him also eat it sometimes. I live in USA. I was in Nigeria last December, I made large quantity of Plantain flour and brought back to the State. I also noticed that Plantain flour from Nigeria is better than the one I prepare using plantain from the US.

You’re welcome. I’ve been here 20 minutes with you born and raised in New York City. I am the queen of eating plantains. I love the way y’all say plantains but I never knew this information. You are an amazing man for bringing this to the forefront for us here in the US who know the soil is 100% in Africa, oh my goodness I am so proud. I am going to order some plantain chips from your company. Good luck and God bless us all. Hallelujah you said.

Awesome content! In the US (well where I am in NY) they sell GIANT gallon size bottles of plantain chips. The bottle has a handle, and the chips are imported from Costa Rica. Each bottle costs $7.99 USD. We buy them willingly. lol Like yours, one is ripe and one is unripe. Agri-Money can be made everywhere.

Nice to see your plantain farm and business. Because of the shortages of food and higher food prices. Please don't make all into plantain chips. Make it thirty percent plantain chips and seventy percent plantain flour for Fufu swallow. These are the best ways to get a higher profits from your plantain farm business. Thank you for your positive right direction ways hardworking. Congratulations well-done. 😊❤

    Hi Bayo,
Plantain flour isn't new to the market. My dad eats it for health reasons and has done so now for about 2 decades now. He bought the unripe plantains and we cut it up and dried it with the sun ourselves.
Drying with the sun is so much better. We never bought the mechanically dried ones as there were 'issues' around outbreaks of illnesses depending on the food handling hygiene levels of the providers.
I am interested in the sun dried ones. Are you able to ship to the UK?

Dehydrator, is that the drying machine you are after? I use Plantain flour, make it my self from the unripe fruit, so i dont buy from the store cos they add other ingredients like tapioca etc to it which i react to. So i go to a Plantain farm, get a bunch or two, cut up with the skin and without- 50:50, put in freezer bags and freeze. I live in a country with constant power. Time to cook, i bring out a portion and pour into my blender, allow it to defrost in there then blend, pour in a non stick pan and stir, once formed, add a little water to cook on low heat, then stir again. Yummy😂, texture is superb

    Good afternoon everyone
    I enjoyed the content.
I see that you have exhausted some five great ideas about plantains.
    However, there are more uses.
    - you can sell the pseudostem for paper producing companies
    - the plantain peels are processed and can replace lime in cooking (we do it Cameroon, it is called Nikki).
    The list is unending
