I am tired if these 5 to 6 job hours. We don't even have good sleep,no life. 5 o'clock you are up till 6 in the evening. My dream is to have an agriculture business in Nigeria. I want to come home and rest. My mental health is detoriating in this Europe. Bayo you are an inspiration.
Evening for us eurpoeans we are tired of westernised life everyone is suffering. Go chase the dream only thing that makes Africa difficult in business is people are not straight
At our farm here in Uganda, we peel and dry our plantains to produce plantain flour and the plantain peelings we give to the goats at the farm, the goats give us manure to put back onto the plantain garden. It is amazing! Thanks for the video oga
You are doing amazing. Very ripe plantains can be natural sweeteners for buns, puff puff, cookies and cakes. They are also good sweeteners for smoothies and pudding. May the Lord expand your coast and open you up to limitless horizons. Plantain flour is the best!
Plantain flour is amazing. It taste good. My husband is diabetic and I made it for him also eat it sometimes. I live in USA. I was in Nigeria last December, I made large quantity of Plantain flour and brought back to the State. I also noticed that Plantain flour from Nigeria is better than the one I prepare using plantain from the US.
You’re welcome. I’ve been here 20 minutes with you born and raised in New York City. I am the queen of eating plantains. I love the way y’all say plantains but I never knew this information. You are an amazing man for bringing this to the forefront for us here in the US who know the soil is 100% in Africa, oh my goodness I am so proud. I am going to order some plantain chips from your company. Good luck and God bless us all. Hallelujah you said.
Good plantain flour Fufu is one of the best ways thanks. I responded before seeing your Fufu flour elubo business good thanks.😊❤ Positive thoughts business. May we all not suffer hunger in Jesus Christ name amen 🙏❤️.
Awesome content! In the US (well where I am in NY) they sell GIANT gallon size bottles of plantain chips. The bottle has a handle, and the chips are imported from Costa Rica. Each bottle costs $7.99 USD. We buy them willingly. lol Like yours, one is ripe and one is unripe. Agri-Money can be made everywhere.
I have been taking banana flour since 2003 because it more nutritional than yam flour. It is not yet common in the USA market. So try to think of exporting it when you are finally ready to sell it.
Nice to see your plantain farm and business. Because of the shortages of food and higher food prices. Please don't make all into plantain chips. Make it thirty percent plantain chips and seventy percent plantain flour for Fufu swallow. These are the best ways to get a higher profits from your plantain farm business. Thank you for your positive right direction ways hardworking. Congratulations well-done. 😊❤
Great I'm happy seeing a young man back in the farm, plantain Amala has been since, it's eaten in our villages, the sweet aroma is unmistakable. It's also a little more expensive in the markets. Good work, God bless and keep you from evil and evil men.
GOOD JOB 👍 BEST EXPERIENCE WE'RE GROWING GRADUALLY WE NIGERIAN 🇳🇬 WILL GET THERE ONE DAY BY THE SPECIAL GRACE OF GOD ALMIGHTY IJMN AMEN 🙏 🙏🙏 SO AMAIZING ❤❤❤
My mom was into plantain farming among other plants and it's something I really enjoyed. We always had customers all around and we always had good food to eat. Farming is really lucrative. I pray that government can support farmers in Nigeria so that farming can boom the way it used to
I like to use the plantain more than the flour for swallow here in US. But flour can target gluten free bakery market. I may be traveling with a group from Southern University of Baton Rouge Louisiana to Nigeria on a fact-finding finding tour. We may have time to visit your farm.
Uuuhhhh.... do you still have the link to that video? I literally remember us making out dolls with plantain stems growing up in rural Nigeria. We would smash one end until it turns into stands of fiber, and then comb it out. Then we would push a stick across on the top/middle and BOOM, you have a doll with arms and hair 😂
Hey Ayo, I live in Australia and I started eating plantain flour last year as it’s almost costing human blood to purchase poundo yam. 😅 Therefore, I started diverting since my Ghanaian brethren eat them steady. Plantain elubo is yum!
Well done with yor plantain chips. I'm a Jamaican from the UK, I'm growing pineapple in the Gambia and also trying to farm plantain and other things. You can buy a dehydrator to dry your plantains. Last year i dehydrate papaya and they still taste good.
Thank you for this wonderful video. I am a retired, but still working Nigerian American. My plan is to go into plantain farming in a few years when I move back home. About plantain elubọ, that has been around forever, especially if you're from Ondo State. We also eat it frequently here in my home in America. In regards to what you use to dry the plantain, that will be the Dehydrator. Keep on the good work. 👍❤
Kudos Bayo! This is great. My brother is married to a lady from Sierra Leone. She introduced us to plantain fufu and we love it. It is very fluff and smooth like amala.
I love watching your videos. I want to go into real estate, specifically rental and airbnb and farming as well. You inspire me to keep working towards my goal.
Hi Bayo, Plantain flour isn't new to the market. My dad eats it for health reasons and has done so now for about 2 decades now. He bought the unripe plantains and we cut it up and dried it with the sun ourselves. Drying with the sun is so much better. We never bought the mechanically dried ones as there were 'issues' around outbreaks of illnesses depending on the food handling hygiene levels of the providers. I am interested in the sun dried ones. Are you able to ship to the UK?
Your video just pop up on my phone. I am so happy with what i am seeing. I am following you from now an i have subscribed already. You're doing an amazing job. God bless you, your family and business.
🎉👍🏾🙏🏾. I cannot wait to to try the ripe chips. What is the name of the supermarket that sells them? Is there delivery in Lagos and please provide details on it. Please think of packaging in a lighter way cos those containers are bulky. I pay excess luggage for Nja food every time l come home and repackage chinchin, kulikuli, peanuts, gurundi etc. God will continue to bless the work of your hands and you will continue to flourish IJMNA 🙏🏾.
Dehydrator, is that the drying machine you are after? I use Plantain flour, make it my self from the unripe fruit, so i dont buy from the store cos they add other ingredients like tapioca etc to it which i react to. So i go to a Plantain farm, get a bunch or two, cut up with the skin and without- 50:50, put in freezer bags and freeze. I live in a country with constant power. Time to cook, i bring out a portion and pour into my blender, allow it to defrost in there then blend, pour in a non stick pan and stir, once formed, add a little water to cook on low heat, then stir again. Yummy😂, texture is superb
Good afternoon everyone I enjoyed the content. I see that you have exhausted some five great ideas about plantains. However, there are more uses. - you can sell the pseudostem for paper producing companies - the plantain peels are processed and can replace lime in cooking (we do it Cameroon, it is called Nikki). The list is unending
You're doing amazingly well. Your tutorial catches my attention because I have interest in farming when I return to Nigeria like you. I will call you to ask questions very soon.
Yorubas naturally love swallow which am one I have lately become a fan of plantain amala, from my own plantains, dried, milled by me😊😅 Thanks for sharing this beautiful information 😊 Really an inspiring.
I didn't dry mine, I just cut it up and blend it with the peel with little water. Then boil it & constantly stirring it until done. It's lite & taste good. ❤ & thanks for sharing.
Plantain bread 🍞 never heard that one before. Glad to see that our people remain creative. I went to Nigeria looking for plantain flour to bring back to Europe on holiday for someone as gift and I couldn’t find it in Lagos, so more needs to be done in that regard by farmers and businesses.
In some Sainsbury’s stores here in London, you can get plantain and chicken gizzards (Dodo and Gizzards) meals. Very tasty and reminds you of home. And much cheaper than at Nigerian restaurants.
Really enjoyed your video and subscribed. BIG congratulations on your LEILA plantain chips from Adio Afro Village. Wonderfully exciting!!! I love love love how you have a heart for job opportunities. Plantain flour is another level❤😊
Plantain flour made into swallow is delicious. The sweet aroma can never be mistaken. The swallow is rich black though, like amala.
Thanks, I don’t like amala because I have a sweet tooth 😊so I will certainly try plantain flour .
It's been on for so long a time in Nigeria is just that it's more popular in the recent years. Back in the 2002 we dry it to prepare amala for my dad
My mom was into plantain farming among other plants and it's something I really enjoyed. We always had customers all around and we always had good food to eat. Farming is really lucrative. I pray that government can support farmers in Nigeria so that farming can boom the way it used to

Plantain flour is very pretty good for all the nutritional values you mentioned.... It's a very popular food in other African countries like Ghana. 🎉🎉
Sometime ago, I saw a video that showed plantain stems used to produce textile and hair wigs.
Uuuhhhh.... do you still have the link to that video? I literally remember us making out dolls with plantain stems growing up in rural Nigeria. Healthier than yam fufu, due to low carb, 👍.

Plantain flour is so nutritious and sweet. It can be eaten with any soup.

Dehydrator, is that the drying machine you are after?
