Your 6210r is only a 6.8 litre and the 8440 is a 7.6, so it would have more horsepower but you could get more out of the 8440, more torque too, a 6910 has the sized engine as the 6210r , in other words they’ve gone backwards to save money and thrown plenty of wires on. FW30’s are 265hp, the FW40 ( not sold here ) are 295hp, achieved by a tweak of the fuel pump. When Ford U.K. looked at importing these tractors, it was initially to be the FW40, but the 30 was cheaper, so the 30’s arrived but tweaked to the FW40 hp of 295. International 150hp at the pto.
