I can't wait for Noor to parry the reason he's king some day and just keeping the seat warm xD See my full uncut live reactions to the episodes over on Patreon www.patreon.com/BrandonReviews
The way he shows respect and admiration for his former teachers makes he looks a lot more heroic for sure. That tsundere swordmaster's reaction was funny.
Maybe he already parried the deer God, which is why it's in a different anime. We don't know how the deer God got into it, so maybe Noor parried the deer God into that other anime universe.
I have a theory that Noor is a descendant of the hero in the story his parents read to him. Remember in ep 1 when he left home he passed though some kind of magic ward leaving the mountain
I’m betting on that his parents are special. Remember from ep1 his mother told him to stay within the area and not cross the big stone. I believe there’s a barrier magic around their house.
You'd think with all of these instructors talking about their stories about training Noor, it'll click with Lynne that Noor is the person in the story she heard about.
Watching the army & the Emperor get wiped out from Noor's POV was so hilarious 😂 He thinks that a random old man lost himself in the battlefield 🤣 It was nice to see the Instructors realize their misjudged about our MC! The Sword Master' one was my favourite 😂 But to think Noor has the phobia of height... It is an unexpected weakness! Lynne misunderstanding what he was thinking about on the Elder Dragon's back 🤣 That man just passed out..! Can't wait to see how this season will end 👀🔥
The fact that he’s completely clueless that all of his instructors are the six saints, the strongest people in the kingdom besides divine shield Innes and the king.
For as simple and convoluted as the story is, it's great. Fun characters, an oblivious MC, and a godly amount of effort in animating some of these epic scenes. Im glad I finally caught up to the current episode.
Since episide 5 Noor'' ben on wining streak but he has one thing in common with Cid (eminence in shadow) where he thinks that they are just playing with his fantasy here Noor thinks that everyone is going easy and everyone should be able to do this. Not knowing that he is the dragon's daddy and he is the peak for all of the rest of masters. The man deserves a rest now after he been for roll
Boy was I lead on a wrong track.. I thought he was having split personality moments due to a weapons curse, and then we see his perspective of how he, very focused, tries to play "juggle the ball in the air" with military props... Seeing that attempt of a smile, that made the emperor make his undies as golden as his shiny armor, cracked me up fully. This show is almost always coming back with an unusual twist. And big thumbs up for healing the dragon! The misunderstanding with Rolo will probably never cleared up which is great. I mean, that kind of implicitly protects Rolo from being terminated/abandoned, no? The way the masters of the schools reacted, makes me want to think they eventually will abandon that "You require two great skills to be an adventurer"-system in the near future. Lastly, seeing Noor so silent and composed, but then revealing he passed out from his acrophobia... Just absolutely great comedic timing.
The moment I saw him in the background, I could immediately tell he passed out because I'm also afraid of heights so I laughed almost through the whole dialogue but that face made me laugh again
One thing i realized at the start of the recap from Noor's POV, Lynne straight up shot his back out. He didn't use the Drain Cleaner Sword to block it this time. Poor Noor's back 😅
im starting to think that the teachers could tell he was superhuman as a kid which is why they all trianed him but they all assumed that they couldnt teach him their specific skills passing him on to the next not realizing they all did that leaving him as a low rank, meanwhile he just never got the memo he was insanly strong
It was nice to see the instructors again and see them recognize noor, that was interesting especially that one conversation. So unless I’m wrong, those 2 ines’s father and the sword master, they were supposed to take in noor, I really wanna know noor’s origin. Especially when we remember where he lives is concealed by a barrier of some kind, I gotta know. Also, I’m very happy to see the dragon is ok, may no more harm come to it. Lastly, ines being a boss as per usual, strike down defenses and weapons like nothing, man I love it.
I somehow felt that the teachers in Noor’s youth were not rejecting him because he was trash. I think it’s Noor’s misunderstanding at work again. Every individual teacher felt that they were not the best person to teach Noor their skills and thus doesn’t want to waste Noor’s time learning from them, but to go and learn from the other teachers who they felt were better fit for Noor. Everything that we saw during Noor’s youth was from his perspective, and we know how he misunderstood things in the worse way possible. We didn’t see the teachers’ perspective of what really went through their mind during the youth scenes 😂
I'm 38 years old watch hundred and hundred anime ... This is my favorite anime ever ...story people everything and I think this anime hide something legendary
There is the meme where goku ask how stron is addication well it safe to say that Noor's lack of common sense would would beat Goku it would be hilarious if somone mad a parody where Noor parry's kamehamae or even Beeru's attack.
6:09 Eh, I would really prefer if they do confront it instead of just brush it under the rug He did so much, he saved the king from sacrificing himself! It would make it feel like it was for nothing
@@AHBrandonReviews but still is a story focused anime and actions should have consequences, and the consequence of saving the king and the kingdom should be at least be offered a reward
I like Noor, alot as a character. Because he is socially awkward , pure , innocent , lack common sense and still thinks that he is weak. Everyone thinks that he is humble because of the misunderstanding caused by his lack fo common sense. He thinks an A rank minotaur monster is a common cow. He thinks an A-rank Geant Goblin emporor is a common weak Goblin. And thinks he won against a black Dragon because of Rolo. He can even parry pioson. This is my the funniest anime of this season. I dropped Death laughing many time because he always parries his own logic preventing him to discover how strong he is after 10 episodes. I wonder if the other characters noticed that he is an F- Rank adventurer who does grunt work (He have the strength of an S Rank adventurer miminum). At the end of season 1, it would not surprise me if he still thinks that he is weak by parrying his own logic. this anime if a 9.7/10 for me soo far.
I’m highly expecting the king to marry Lynne off to noor in a political move to secure moor’s strength/reward him and for noor to parry that reward as well
Can't parry responsibility, that is a bridge too far. I look forward to finding out what the "real" story is for them sending him away. We have only seen his version of what happened.

To think that the only thing stopping Noor from becoming your standard OP protagonist is common sense.
The way he shows respect and admiration for his former teachers makes he looks a lot more heroic for sure. That tsundere swordmaster's reaction was funny.
Noor has fear of heights but has no problem being yeeted by wind blast 💀
Noor is the only person who could see a guy clad in fancy armor and wearing a literal crown and think it’s just some random old man. 😂
Noor needs to be able to parry his acrophobia... because that chase operation was his idea in the first place. 🤣
Noor can parry dragons and armies, but can he parry a deer God.
Maybe he already parried the deer God, which is why it's in a different anime. We don't know how the deer God got into it, so maybe Noor parried the deer God into that other anime universe.
Don't ask it will be happen 😂 at this point he can parry the reality
Maybe that's how nokotan ended up in those power lines to begin with as well as the time loop they are in. Noor parrys the universe @@ThomasHall-r5i
@@Jtr_ceral_killer I Parry A Deer God (and It's Cult).

I laughed all the way through Noor's inner monolog. He's so gloriously silly; he is absolutely one of my favorite Idiot Protags in years.
Noor may not be the brightest bulb in the pack, but his heart can make a reformed Grinch envious. Such a loveable goober.
You'd think with all of these instructors talking about their stories about training Noor, it'll click with Lynne that Noor is the person in the story she heard about.
Lol You expect too much, all the characters in this show are somewhat stupid.
True, I was expecting too much.
I love how Noor doesn't realise and care about being famous and rewarded. That's one of the greatest things as a true hero.
Any Instructor Noor had: "ur not suited for my craft(fish should not try running, ur wasting ur godly potential at the wrong place)"
Watching the army & the Emperor get wiped out from Noor's POV was so hilarious 😂

I don’t even think this guy needs a weapon. He could probably parry with his hands a weapon is overkill lol.
1000% lol
Love your reviews!
Instructors who had met Noor before were immediately insecure when they saw Noor's strength, even the king told Noor to look after them 😂
I do wonder if Rolo reading Noor's mind is gonna be a factor in the show at some point
Noor is one of the anime characters Bruce Lee feared.
i have no forehead left now after all the face palming for 10 episodes straight !!!hahaha

Maybe seeing Noor riding the dragon at the end of this episode is him parrying motion sickness/heights, so I Parry Motion Sickness/Heights.
Now Noor is inspiring me to start going to the gym
He actually has pretty good build and seems pretty attainable compared to other anime muscles
I hope we get a 2nd season. There are so many underrated anime this season.
He passed out because he is afraid of heights
I'm calling it now, episode 12 title has got to be "I Parry Logic" lol
