Hey guys thanks for tuning in, a little late to post to the comment section thanks for leaving your thoughts about the video and Dumagette. I'll be exploring this area for a while and probably will be checking out Iloilo next. A Vietnam trip is not far away.
Thank you for sharing Chad, Dumaguete will be my next vacay destination.Enjoy Chad!
You're welcome and enjoy your trip!
Agree on dumaguete, it's a great place to live; maybe dating is a bit limited. Good place to move in with a gf
Hi Chad, great candid info and opinions on Dumaguete and the surrounding area. I’m happy for you that you seem to be enjoying your time there. I also am into outdoor activities and enjoy being out in nature. Try not to promote it too much - so it remains a peaceful, relaxing place to live without becoming overrun with tourists 😆.
Yeah you would love it here and I'm sure many other places in the Philippines! Yeah good point I definitely agree it wouldn't be the same with too many tourists, but I don't think my videos are making too much of a dent in that at least not yet here's hoping haha
I like your videos and I really enjoy them but if your paying 600 for condo unless in BGC or equivalent 600 a month it's to much
Just curious are you comparing it to a long-term lease and without including utilities and Internet? This was for a two month rental on Airbnb. I appreciate it!
You made it back . Duma Brownouts no taxi gotta have car or scooter there. Great to visit is my opinion.
Yes Dumaguete it's a nice place to live 😊
I was not going to move there, but slowly coming around
You'll be bored after two months.
Hi Chad,good morning
We are here now in a cottage watching your vedio a very good areas in dumaguete I see at your background full of green leaves as our nature of the forest thank you for sharing vedio
with us.always keep you safe everyday you've travel from other places.. Biray biray....paradise islands...
Hey Joyce thank you for watching and leaving a comment, yes it's been an adventure I definitely miss it out that way but it's great here as well :)
Great video Chad, as far as the Dramaguete with other TH-camrs goes, I'm definitely not surprised you haven't seen any of that, you're such a laid back guy you're practically horizontal 😅
Haha thanks well it's true I definitely avoid drama pretty well and just get along with everyone... gotta keep the good vibes alive!
Thanks for the good info.
Good to meet you today at the Sideways TH-cam meet up. Your channel looks like a winner. I’m looking forward to watching more of your videos.
Great to meet you as well! Thanks for the compliment I appreciate it... More Videos to come
Like it that you mentioned Mindanao couple of times here. That’s where I’m from and it’s an underrated place but beautiful. Can’t wait to go back next year 😊
Hey Chad! Great content, just curious - do you edit all your videos, thumbnails, shorts yourself? Thx!
Thanks Yea I do :)
Hey Chad nice overview Duma has its gpod and bad points but is mostly chill with a lot of workarounds and other underlying or unique circumstances but is doable, things seem to always work out one way or another.
Great boots on the ground , real life experience perspective; so thank you for that ! 🙏🏼💕
BTW, Great interview on Mike & Janet’s channel. Appreciate how you always keep it real with a well rounded overall , honest take on things. You mentioned dental work.. I’m coming out late December for “medical tourism” and if I’m not being to intrusive, was hoping to get a recommendation. Can I find good care in Duma ? Or is Cebu better options/pricing .. Happy and Safe travels. 🌺
Hey there thanks for that! I'm not sure about dumaguete but the dentist that I went to I thought was fantastic they are at Ayala mall in Cebu City called Apple dental. I did a Emax crown for $400, they are usually about $1200 on the low end up to $2500 in the US
If you want to live and feel the the Heart beat of the Philippines? live there.
Nice vid. I’ll be there in December
Which cities do you think are best for dating?
Really depends on what you're looking for I think it's decent everywhere in different ways again depending on what you are looking for. If you do online dating Dumagette is close to a lot of other towns where you might find more of what you're looking for. Cebu city is a good option in many ways, but going to a more obscure town with not many foreigners I think it's a really good option as well
Thanks, Chad. A more obscure city with a decent population size would be interesting! Casual dating maybe Cebu is a top option.
❤❤❤
600 is too expensive, I rent a great condo in Thailand for 215
Yeah that sounds way better! If you sign a lease here for 12 months it drops significantly from what I'm paying but you have to get Internet and utilities on your own
Always smiling brother. Love it. I'm coming over very soon! Beers on me! 🇨🇦
So how are the women if you break up with them after dating a little while?
Chad this is John, Gregs good friend living in Cebu i would like to get in touch.
Hey John, you can email me at ChadFosterexplores@gmail.com
Dumaguete is so over rated. If you ever visit Boquete Panama you will think your in Heaven !!!!!
I just searched a video on it from your comment, looks incredible!
You have only been there 5 minuites and after a while you will get a reality check..the city is dirty, too many beggars, the girls have been run thtough by oyhrt foreigners Di,a os tje wprst place I can think of. I hated the place and I did not come here to be part of a foreigner enclave at Ground Zero and other places....
I have a love and a little hate thing for Duma. But yeah, i can relate to that statement you said about after 5 minutes, reality check. I once traveled to so many cities, and then i went to visit Duma, less than 30 minutes of arrival, I was screaming at 2 very rude people and then later someone run off with my bus fare to leave the city. Then i said in my head, Welcome back to Dumaguete. You need a lot of sense of humor and common sense to survive here.
Dumaguete ? I want to live with Philippines Filipino people not Americans.
