Easy Crochet Stitch for a Blanket or Rug using Half Double Crochet.

- Jazz up your hallway or doorway with this single stitch one row repeat pattern.
I used a chunky yarn and a 5mm hook to create a dense stitch so the rug would withstand foot traffic and be washable.
INSTRUCTIONS
(US terms Half Double Crochet (US) = Half Treble (UK)
1. Chain to the width you want + 2 chain
2. *2 half double crochet in 3rd chain from hook
3. Skip a Chain**
4. Repeat from * to ** to last stitch
5. 2 chain and turn
6. Work subsequent rows making 2 half double crochet in between the half double crochet from the previous row.
7. When you have finished weave in the ends.

They tell us a life story that they are creative and hardworking hands that are kind, knowledgeable, strong most of the time with arthritis trying to slow her down and cause pain. I shouldn’t cater to you at all but I will educate you that Amanda Jane’s nails are clean, polished and trimmed. Arthritis, health and aging change the way our nails look. It changes the colors, shape, texture and more. My nails, fingers are in rough shape. Maybe I should send you a picture but it might make you not look!! Better yet, look at yourself. I can hope you are ashamed, embarrassed of the comment you made and send Amanda Jane an apology. Otherwise, continue to not watch! Do not say another word! Maybe see if TikTok will put up with you.
