Dishonored 1 pause music is a thrilling mix between darkness, fear and corruption... This one keeps the dark aura, but instead of the second two elements... Mixes something out of a new age... For someone young like Emily Kaldwin.
Such a beautiful and haunting piece of music that I will remember forever… Perhaps my favorite piece of music from the entire series. It just brings a feeling of calmness. The entire Dishonored universe and it’s games are masterpieces, soundtrack included. Thank you Daniel Licht for the effort and passion you put into into your work, it did not go unappreciated. Rest In Peace…
Me too for 2024. I absolutely love the pause menu soundtrack, it's like a variant of the void ambience, but more thrilling and uplifting in a way. I even had worries it could get brought down as a vid so I even made sure to download this.
Same sad to see the studio that made these games I believe has shut down. However sad it may be, we have gems like this that can remind people of how truly great the experience was.
This song goes perfect with the playthrough that I'm doing now. I'm doing a *super* high chaos playthrough as Emily. Everywhere she goes turns into a bloodbath lol. She's so evil that she makes Delilah look good
Ristyan yesf yes that is the sound of fear. I'm also a big fan from epic gaming and movie sounds. Check out my other songs. I appreciate that. There is another good soundtrack from The Witcher 3 and The Elder Scrolls Online... I use this epic songs in my Gameplays too
Thanks for uploading this. I absolutely love the Dishonored series and it's soundtrack. I just started playing Dishonored 2 a few days ago and its already top 5 on my list of favorite sequels!
And big deadly spiders comes from all walls😂😂😂😂 yes that sound is very daek and dangerous i know. If you listen you don't dream you have fear and think about a horror Szenario.
I unironically think this is the best song in the entire game series. We are putting up a review of Death of the Outsider on our page real soon, and I am going to post a hyperlink to this song. This isn't spam. You don't have to do anything. I'm just commenting to let you know that I like this song so much I'm adding a link to the song in a review of the game. That's it. -Kurt, EIC
Didn't end up being very kind to the game, but the link to this vid is hyperlinked the review. hardmodegamers.com/dishonored-doto-review It's weird, Dishonored is a very dark game but this music has a lot of warm tones.
I can only assume it is digital. Probably some custom synth plug ins. I dont know what the actual systems are called, but think of what Vangelis used to make soundtracks like that in Blade Runner. Those huge synth booths with all the wires and stuff. The name is escaping me right now and it frustrates me lol
Years later this song is still in my head
Does the outsider speak to you too or am I off my schizophrenic meds
What did he tell you @@greefer9609
He still does@@greefer9609

I don’t have that feeling at all when I hear it. When I close my eyes and listen it gives me the vibes of being in the outsiders world.

In 2024 I still have vivid memories of dishonored 2 and death of the outsider and its beautiful music and world. The pause menu was my favorite.

Lol! I'm the opersite, I like playing it in ghost mode, but I heard it's really fun in high chaos.
@@DarkTripods07 murder all the treasonous dogs. They’d do the same to you.
This sounds like Skyrim dungeon music. This dark combination of sounds is so euphorically ethereal.
so deep and evil...........love it

If you like this you should check out a label called Cryo Chamber.
Literally everything they put out is top notch like this👌👌
Thank you for uploading this. Was looking for it everywhere.

+Brody Austin I appreciate that. But I also use this soundtrack in Naval Action soundtracks with my biggest warships. If you want check it out
AFFRO 24 will do. Appreciate the feedback! :)
This hits different when doing homework 🐐
this ambiently plays in my head sometimes
One of the best games I ever played right up there with MGS2
MGS3 would like to speak with you.
Man thanks for uploading this its not on the official soundtrack (or at least the one on Google Play) for some reason.
You are welcome!!!
This music makes me feel like I'm alone in a completely empty room with nothingness just whiteness all over.
And big deadly spiders comes from all walls😂😂😂😂 yes that sound is very daek and dangerous i know. If you listen you don't dream you have fear and think about a horror Szenario.
@@affro2465 No, no spiders come from the walls you know that white corrider from Assassins creed? Its just like that.

+Hard Mode Gamers oh thanks man!!!
GeneralMeechMunchies 100% agree with your comment. Dishonored to me has always been a unique series. Fun and interesting at the same time.
Subbed just for your awesome opinion.
During Sydney’s lockdown I’d be playing this then when I needed a break I’d just hit pause..
I wonder what musical instrument this unearthly music is played on?

Thx!
anyone know how the sound is called when you read a book or a note? There are like 2 to 3 different "tracks" of like white noise
