  • Sisig is one of the famous dish in the Philippines and originated in Pampanga. Sisig is a Sour dish and we eat it as a snack or PULUTAN (snacks with beers). The Authentic Sisig is made from pigs face and snouts. They clean and grill the meat, then chopped into very small pieces then added more basic ingredients and then cook it in a special skillet or here in America it is called Cast Iron. Believe me, they put too much work in it to make it so special and delicious!
    And on this video, you will learn the easy way on to How to Cook Sisig using just Ground Pork ( since we can't find pig face in the USA lol) and basic ingredients. With a little twist and turn, we can now make our version of delicious Sisig!!
    All you need:
    1.5 Lb Ground Pork
    1 Onion, chopped
    1 Lemon to juice ( add 1/2 more if you prefer more lemony flavor)
    Green Onions
    1 Tbsp Fried or Fresh Garlic
    3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
    1 Tsp Ground black pepper
    1 Tbsp Chicken Bouillon powder
    1 Tbsp Palm or cane vinegar
    2 Tsp or more of Chili garlic Sauce if you don't have fresh chili pepper
    I hope you guys enjoy it!

      Hahaha. Ayos. Pork giniling na yata pag sinamahan ng carrots at potatoes and not sisig. Comparing to cooking afritada pero ginawang caldereta. Peace

      @eatsmykitchen  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use palm vinegar. Or if there's Asian Store near you, you might find it there.

      You can also use apple cider vinegar if you cant get palm vinegar dont use distilled white vinegar.

    Palm or cane vinegar? What other vinegar is close?
    Is this served over rice or greens?

    • @eatsmykitchen
      @eatsmykitchen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can use either of the vinegar. And we serve tge Sisig on top of rice with an option of sunny side up egg on top of Sisig. Enjoy 😉

    Gotta make this, and enter it into our local Chili Cookoff. it's a running joke, I enter something Chili-like, and not actual chili. Last year I made Jambalaya, the year before that, Beef Bolognaise. This looks amazing. Needs a pinch of cayenne, though...Look out, Chili judges!
