Mazzy star really opened my ears to a different kind of music than anything I was hearing at the time. I remember being a little kid watching the sopranos (even though I was way to young to be watching the sopranos) and the Mazzy Star song "look on down from the bridge" came on. It had a big impact on my musical tastes. Nice to see you do a mazzy star cover.

This particular song though, by Mazzy Star, Fade into you gets me on my heart strings as it brings me back to my first love and heartbreak in my adolescent years. And Holly’s cover, a little darker, but truly capturing Hope Sandoval’s performance. Is causing the floodgates of my mind to break open, bringing me right back to 1994 and that emotional roller coaster, we call teenage love! Sorry, I don’t know why I’m telling you this, but there it is for all to read!
