    May i ask if the silk R753 is the same thing that you use for the "grim" for the buttonhole? or is the grim thicker and a different material? Where to buy the Grim, whats the brand and thickness?

      Silk thread for buttonhole, silk thread and grim for Milanese buttonhole, usually grim is thicker than silk thread, grim and silk thread are different materials, My friend ordered the silk thread and grim on internet for me , you can check out the materials from tailoring suppliers on internet

      the “grim” is called a GIMP usually tailors use silk gimps and from what I understand it’s a metal cord with silk threads wrapped around it so it’s stiff for the buttonhole to have a structure
