- Blasphemous II took so much of what made the first Blasphemous notable and heightened it from a pure-combat specialist to a memorable metroidvania. Not only are there improvements to combat and movement to feel both fluid and fruitful, but the experience is captivating and enthralling from all standpoints. Looking through every nook and cranny is enjoyable enough, but you’ll stay completely mesmerized by the gorgeous artwork and atmosphere. The Penitent One’s journey is arduous and demanding, but it is a hell of a time.

I tried the demo but the controls were a bit clunky. Glad to hear that the delvelopers really focused on making them responsive and fluid this time around.
I will most definitely get this, but going to wait for the physical release.

I am facing a game breaking bug at Ps5 and i cant progress the game, could you please help me?
I have kill Lesmes/infant boss but at the character sheet it is not registered. It shows only 2/3 guardians down . Therefore i can't progress the game . Any ideas?

The first one was shoddy. I don't expect this to be much better.
You really think the 1st sucks? I adore the 1st, and the 2nd is even better. You can tell they took what they learned with 1 and cranked it to 11 for 2.
I adored the first games art style,music and story. But i found to clunky and cheaply hard. I finished it, but left a sour taste..people said this is easier..so i was like ok let's give it a go....first boss...double boss with 3 phases and overlapping attacks that are mechanically impossible to avoid and to actually see among the chaos. And i m like...wtf are people smoking and saying those lies😢😂 got it after 20 tries but..yeah not fun

Removing one hit kills from spikes is making me nervous. Hopefully they didn't listen to too much "community" feedback.
Loved the first game and with reviews coming out for this already will be buying day one. So nice after most of the games that come out dont have reviews until the day before release. Means the devs are super confident in this game.
They did some things better this time. Combat feels a bit different.

yea theres 1 difficulty setting, its called GIT GUD CASUL
I heard from multiple sources it's way easier than the first one, except for a few overtuned arena encounters which are weirdly harder than anything else in the game.
I'd say it's still fairly challenging. But having a better grip of your controls compared to the last game really helps. - Semy from NP

Very overhyped game. The only thing thats good about it is the nice artstyle and soundtrack. The gameplay is hollow, boring and repetitiv The platforming is the most basic of basics with boring level design. Play metroid dread or ori and the will of the wisp instead. I dont get why so many youtube reviewers gives such a boring game such much praise.

Blasphemous 2 was the greatest disappointment of 2023. No boss will kill you, you'll plow through enemies with not a second thought, puzzles and secret areas are telegraphed to you. Simply boring and forgettable game. And when you think it couldn't get any worse, the cheaply made animation/cinematics is there to remind you that indeed, it is the greatest disappointment of 2023.
