This video is very helpful. I have an Engine warning light in amber that has just popped up in my E300 convertible. Car seems fine and I haven’t noticed anything different. How should I proceed? The video said it’s just an advisory. Not sure what that means.

I have an amber engine light warning on my Mercedes a180 and there is a delay between accelerating and the gears kicking in all of a sudden. Any idea what is the most likely issue I am facing? I will be taking it in asap ofc. Great video btw. Thanks 👍

An engine warning light could relate to a number of things, so this is a difficult one to diagnose without a technician looking at it in more detail. At least as it's amber, it isn't urgent. We are not aware of this occurring on an A160 but would recommend speaking to your nearest Service teams. It’s to do with your break assist when you are to close to another vehicle or over taking it warns you with that annoying beeping sound. I turned mine off in settings
