maybe its a state thing, but where i live , not only are you allowed to go onto private property to recover an animal, you're legally obligated to do so
AS long as you don't take a gun with you its not a felony. Its like a ticket at most. And my game warden here said if this happened, we had to go get it.
Watched this hunt in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and here I am in 2023 watching it again. Why? Because there's no other hunting show like THP. It's awesome to see how far you have become over the years. Keep it up boys!

100% the right thing. what turns people bad is when they do the right thing and they have a beautiful deer within eyesight on a neighbors property and they tell you no.
@John Dyer in Pennsylvania you can talk to the game officer as well and then the land owner can tell them no as well. ive seen it happen. ive seen grumpy old men and people that are big time anti-hunters knowingly let a deer rot in their field because they are jerks. if going on a night time recover mission after doing all of that makes me unethical then i am afraid i will have to wear that badge with honor.

If you call the game commission right now I will bet you a paycheck they confirm my words. Unless something has changed incredibly recently what I say is fact. I'm pretty up to date on game laws.

This is first hunting show where I'm genuinely as happy for them as I would be for my self or one of my buddies. They do it the way most of us do. Not that there is anything wrong with big private farms, its just not as hard as hunting public ground like this. Well done!
I’ve watched this video a number of times and it never gets old , a very young ted who gets the buck of a life time, with a bow , on public land, on video , and in not so perfect weather , with a funny looking hat on , on the ground. I’ve hunted deer for 45 years and not once have I ever even seen a deer that big, and I have harvested over 400 with a bow , I tell you what guys , this is something that people should not take for granted , it was a great privilege just to get to watch this video.

I know, where I live these guy's are mostly heathen's. they poach consistently and don't give 2 shit's about anyone else. I've been hunting as a lone wolf since 2007 because of this. the 2x I took a guy from work it always turned into a 3 ringed circus.

99% of hunters would have played it safe and continued to watch deer walk that trail from their treestand. Huge kudos to Ted and Jake for having the intuition to get down and set up within shooting distance to that trail. It was a risk and it paid off in a big way!

What a fabulous hunt. I still contend that this hunting program eclipses every hunting show that is airing on television. This is REAL hunting by ordinary people. No celebrities, no private managed "deer mecca's", no staged baloney. It is raw footage of real hunts by dedicated people who do not cut corners. Keep it coming. This is as real as it gets.

Everything they had was dying. Even their ride! But they just barely had enough spotlight to spot the buck across the property line.
