it will definitely help you identify your interests and then you can start writing about them from then on.

I’m reading this book right now. At 40, I realize that I ignored my uniqueness for the past 20 years because I believed those that told me I should deny it. It’s painful to realize at this age, but better now than never. If you are younger, please please please don’t ignore your uniqueness. I’m filled with regret and tears at times, but I’ll spend the rest of the time I have left dedicated to living in my truth and contributing to the world it the way I was meant to for as much time as possible.

He's spot on. If it's something you love, no challenge will be insurmountable. This is so true - thankfully I knew at the age of 5, I always wanted to teach, my favourite role play was as a teacher. Fast forward 57 years and I'm still teaching and hope to continue well into my 70s. I'm so glad I didn't listen to those around me who tried to rubbish my dreams and the profession as a whole. People can easily get to 40 and then realise they were going in the wrong direction. You can spend your 20's in education, but you realise it's the wrong education. There goes your 20's. You then find a half-way reasonable job that gives you independence and responsibility for the first time in your life, if that job does that then you'll easily give 10 years to it, there goes your 30's. Then you're 40 and want a new direction.... This is more like how it happens. That's why they say 'life begins at 40'.

How to get happy and fulfilled in your 50s and 60s? I'm not talking about drug addicts and alcoholics. I'm talking about people who have been in very lousy unfulfilling jobs their whole life because it was the safe thing, ... because they couldn't break out.

I think I've battled some of the emptiness from my past by recognizing it & changing compulsive habits. If we're fortunate and graced with freedom, we have more choices & that alone should help mitigate those empty feelings.

Hey Robert how old are you? You do have lots of advice mainly towards the young which is great but I’m 64 and trust me, I still have some of those feelings you talk about and wonder what am I doing with my life. My life is great but still one wonders?

If we do one task all the time it gets boring and being unique also attracts lot of attention. I prefer being jumping from one task to other and when i do well in jump task , thats what keeps me going

Thanks a lot for your work, Robert, I look up to you.
I just wanted to say that non human animals are also sentient individuals, they have a central nervous system that allows them to have their own personality, emotions, feelings, goals and make their own decisions. That's why they have the right to be free and respected, so let's go vegan so that we can stop paying for their exploitation and murder. Thanks

OH, I AM AWARE, and I always just tried to fill it, and that quest was to fit in. Destroyed myself in the process. Turns out I have adhd .. As a 46yo female it's really hard to see I've tried to change a programming that cannot be changed, and also told myself everything about me is wrong 😢 now the realization is both depressing and empowering, but yet here I am, trying to use the diagnosis to change again.... how to be myself..? 😢😢

I have a question. The laws of human nature and the concise laws of human nature.. Is both of them same? Similarly I saw 33 strategies of war and the concise 33 strategies of war.. Are both of them written by Robert Greene?

Very good message. Now, I ask you about your health, Robert. Are you improved and how did you get there towards healing? If not, why not? What kinds of remedy have you tried and how have these either helped or not? Okay not to answer, but since you are obviously so astute, I've been wondering about your health after hearing you say, on a TH-cam piece, that you have some kind of condition.
