Have seen your solving the 3X3 at the top of every mountain in Colorado and then this! Both are good but especially all the time and effort it took for the mountain video and I live in Colorado too would be cool to meet you one day Z3Cubing! I bought a knock off awhile back but the YJ megaminx has been really good definitely a big step up from the original. This is really interesting to put maglev in my new version of the puzzle. I can’t even imagine what it must be like with lube

zalex, i don't know what the cube looks like for you, but on that megaminx, both greens look like they're identical on camera.
it might make sorting through emerald and lime green harder.
that's why on my yuhu megaminx, the emerald is a lot darker in shade, to give the greens more contrast, and make it more easy to sort.

In the unboxing of the yuhu, you sais that the green sides look realy similar. TheCubicle has darker green caps that would solve the problem.

Ya know… I’ve been wondering if magnetizing a kilominx, either with a MagLev core or magnetized corners/edges, would be possible. If it is, I’m positive you would be the first one to make it happen!
It is definitely possible although kilominx isn’t a very popular puzzle so I don’t know if he will do it

couldnt you use like washers or other things on top of the top magnet to make the magnet closer to the other magnet for more strength?
That would be equivalent to tightening the screws. :)

What size and strength ring magnets did you use? and what size/strength would you recommend so you don't have to double them up?
The ones I used are 1/4" OD, 1/8“ ID, and 1/16“ thick N42. I would use a magnet strength calculator and look for something roughly twice as strong. The ones you can buy for MoYu cubes might work well.
