dear sir, at 20:53 i can't understand why the P.D. of that two points of the jockey is SAME as the P.D. between the two plates ???? plzzz sir kindly reply.
Excellent explanation sir, but I have a doubt You said at stopping potential, electrons are emmited but get decelerated on the way ( due to negative potential ) But SL arora book has it written in it , that at stopping potential , no photoelectron are emitted So please sir , confirm if its a mistake in arora

Sir i am unable to understand volt volt difference.... And i cant relate that with reality.... Like we say a tubelight is of 50volts..... So what is that mean.... Help m sir
sir, why photocurrent is not dependent on frequency? I mean more is the freq of incidenf light, more is the energy of photon, and thus more is the K.E of photoelectron, so if K.E of photoelectron is more, that means more electrons will get into the collector in 1 second right? thus increasing the photoocurrent... pls answer my doubt sir
Sir ji one question. Let's consider two electrons e1 and e2 absorbed energy and came out of the emitter plate. Energy of e2 is less than e1 but both of them do not have that energy to travel towards the collector plate . Aisa ni ho Sakta ki e1 nikla nd e2 k Repulsion se aage badhta jaye nd collector plate tak chala jaye?
sir, i m student of 3rd year phsh hons. so i think, in this video at 9:29, photoelectric effect me metal ki free electron emit nehi krta h, only bound electron emit krta h..

Will a metal stop to show photoelectric effect when it emits all its electron?
Metal have infinite number of free electons

Sir why ejected photoelectrons are only moving towards front(-ve potential) , didn't they attracted by left terminal(+ve potential)
Yes they are being attracted by the + plate.
That is why those return.
