  • In this Chemistry video in Hindi for class 11 we explained photoelectric effect, which establishes the particle nature of light and hence, dual nature of light. This phenomenon was observed by Heinrich Rudolf Hertz in 1887. But he failed to explain this phenomenon using Classical Physics. In 1905, Albert Einstein explained Photoelectric Effect using Modern Physics.

    Sir agar minimum energy se photon jayega to uski saari energy sirf electron ko eject karne me use ho jayegi . Iska matlab yaha hai ki agar minimum energy se photon jayega to electron ki kinetic energy zero ho jayega iska matlab minimum energy me bhi photoelectric effect nahi hoga . Sir maine sahi bola hai ki galat pls reply

  • @avinash835
    @avinash835 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    In the photoelectric effect, why can two or more photons not add up to make sufficient energy to cause emission of electrons from a metal? Why do we see one photon-one electron interaction?
    Because photons don’t add up to each other’s energies. They can only add up to their own amplitudes or intensities. Photons’ energies are related only with their frequencies (frequency of their electric and magnetic fields oscillations) and not with their intensities (how much photons are bunched together).
    So if an electron’s bondage energy to its orbit or to atomic nucleus is higher than the energy of a photon’s frequency, it doesn’t matter how much of the same photons hit such an electron. Their energies can’t overcome the threshold of even a single electron’s bondage energy to its orbit in an atom.
    On the other hand, just one single photon with higher energy than such a threshold is enough to break apart an electron’s bond to its orbit or nucleus.
    I had dout but I found explanation in quora If Any of you had dout then I Hope now you satisfied with explanation 😊😊

    Sir quantum theory ke hisab se E=hv , sir intensity =power/time, power=energy / time so dekha jaye to intsnsity directly proportional to energy h , aur intensity directly proportional to frequency hona chahiye , lekin aisa nahi hota , kyu , why sir , plz bta do

    01. Was Ammeter made in 1887 to be used in experiments ?
    02. Potassium is highly reactive in Air. Then how it was converted into a plate form and inserted inside the tube which is vacuumed, that too in 1887.

Detail me video dijiye na

      It is simple.
      The metal loses electrons so that creates a potential difference between the anode and the negative pole of battery. So electrons will move to the anode again !
