Hi Steve, can you ship the cable to Belgium and would I have to pay import taxes? Als I noticed in the link it's not a braided cable anymore... seems like plastic or rubber
If your phone limits the volume via Bluetooth then it may just be a setting on the phone that needs changing. Alternatively using a cable will always give the best sound quality and full volume potential
Here is something that might help someone… I found the H9s uncomfortable until I found a post where the person suggested pushing them way back so that the earcup rests behind your ear. This seems like it should be a bad idea, but for my ears it sounds the same and is very comfortable.
That is an interesting point - I have also noticed that sound modes in the B&O app can't be edited or deleted since the last app update. I will raise this issue with B&O.
Hi Steve another great video I got the H95s and as much as they and all B n Os headphones will sound fab on Bluetooth as they do I play Ghosteen by Nick Cave and the bad seeds or various Pink Floyd numbers to test out the sonics and it sounds great on Bluetooth But wiring them into a Beocenter or whatever source you wish to use has no equal cables never crash !!! I got the 2 metre one of you and am very happy with it Cheers Simon
Hey, my dad owns a pair of these headphones. He bought them because he had b&o’s When he was a teenager, but now he barely uses them. So i have used the h9’s daily for over 2 and a half years and the earcups are completely falling appart. Thanks for the tips!
I don't seem to have a natural or neutral setting at all in the B&O app. Is it the "clear" setting that hypes up something between more bass and more treble?
Any tips on h95 firmware downgrade from 6.0 to 5.2.1 please? After firmware update on H95 now I hear a hissing noise from bluetooth chip... and need also bluetooth aside from cable... thx, cheers!
@@soundsheavenly Hello, thank you for your reply, I have contact them and they sugest to get them replaced, I will try today at my local store, hope the new ones will be ok. Cheers!

Hey Steve, this is a great channel. topics are interesting and your voice is very calm. one question: my setup is beovision avant in the living room, beolab 3500 in the dining room and beolab 2000 in the kitchen. ive got a nl/ml converter, so i can tune some radio station on the avant, and listen on all three devices at the same time. now i want to make some changes, since i cannot listen to radio in the kitchen, while someone is using the avant as tv. my idea was to swap the beolab 2000 with a beolab35 and make this the master, so i can listen on all three devices radio, or on the 35 and 3500 while someone is watching tv. im not sure, if i can use the avant as loudspreaker with the signal from an other source. i believe, just tune in on the same station at the same time would not be a great idea because of network delay. hope that makes sense. do you think this is a possible solution?
Hi, thanks for your kind words. Yes, this is possible. Please feel free to get in touch at soundsheavenly.com and I can help you to get everything working.
Just bought a pair of H9i headphones. I did research on upgrading the cable and found my way here. I will order your cable straight-away. Thanks for the hacks. I haven't even received mine yet...I keep looking out the window for the delivery truck! HA HA. UPDATE: Tried to order the cable but says "NO SHIPPING ADDRESS". I live in USA. Thanks for the hacks though...guess I need to find another cable.
Hi Steve thanks for the great tips for H9. Just wondering by any chance you could comment on HX as well? I have got a pair of HX for a while now but not sure I have explored their potential to the maximum… And for the settings, which is referred as neutral for HX?
Sure! The best tiip is to use them in passive mode with a cable when possible, this doesn't use any battery life at all. Then only use the active mode when you need them to be wireless. I keep upgraded cables for these headphones to improve the sound, you can see details here: soundsheavenly.com/bo-play/150-2327-premium-braided-cable-for-beoplay-h95-hx-portal-h2-h4-h6-h7-h8-h8i-h9-h9i-headphones-with-metal-plugs.html#/3-length-2m
Hi! I’m thinking of buying either the HX or H9 but I’m having a hard time deciding between them. Unfortunately I was able to only listen to HX. How would you compare them? I was told that X lacks bass more than H9 lack high frequencies. Would you say that it’s true? Thank you!
They are both superb headphones and you can tailor the high and low frequencies of both headphones via the B&O app to suit your preference. HX is more comfortable with better features, but H9 has a passive mode so they can be used without powering them on.
@@soundsheavenly Problem not restricted to phone connection, also PC. Among my other headphones, it was the most difficult to get connection through Bluetooth.
My ears also touch the driver of the headphones and it hurts them only after 1 hour. So I put makeup pads in the ear cup. The sound does not change, but I'm worried that the headphone will be defective later.
Hi, that is a good way to resolve the issue. I don't think this would cause any faults, but the other option is to turn the headphones around to see if they are more comfortable that way.
Hi Steve, merry Christmas, I’m wondering if there’s a cable that would connect the H95’s to the latest iphones like the 13 & 14 ones, as the one you mention Does not fit? Many thanks
Hi, for newer iPhones, you just need the cable I mentioned, plus a genuine Apple 3.5mm headphone adapter from an Apple Store (not a cheap copy from an online marketplace as they rarely work). This gives a higher quality sound than an all-in-one cable as it allows for a higher quality cable to be used than would be possible if it had to fit into the iPhone connector

@@soundsheavenlyhow good would je say the anc is in this headset compared to sony? And how goog does the microphone works if i wanted to use in a virtual meeting
@@youtubeaccount7137 Hi, I have never heard any Sony headphones so I can't comment on them! The H9 microphone is great for video calls, I have used it on many occasions.
Yes, that is intended…there is a part of the headphone that protrudes into the ear space and this presses against my ears if I wear the headphones the right way around. By turning them around, I can wear them comfortably. A simple cable adjustment reverses the sound, so they play the correct stereo sound.
