I have had them for 2 weeks and I agree with your review.... But I have a huge complaint I have been trying to work out with B&O ( other than the cheap bag) Build quality and sound are superb , ANC is a bit above average but below Bose and Sony , but I need headphones that can be connected to my PC and phone simultaneously , and even though these are supposed to handle to connected devices , my H9s 3rd Gen , struggle keeping a stable BT connection with 2 devices ( even though they are advertised as being capable of doing so) . Even while watching this video on my win 10 PC , every time I got a notification on my phone , the H9s lost connection with my PC so I had to keep disconnecting them and reconnecting them from my pc. After a while I simply disconnected my phone ( both my pc and phone have BT 5.0 while the H9s have 4.2 ... could this be the issue). I found they are more stable while connecting them to my phone and lap top which has 4.2 BT , but still after a while listening to music on my phone , they simply disconnect from my lap top. another issue I have faced is that these all of a sudden degrade audio quality when you have the voice/mic activated , so I have to constantly toggle setting to activate and deactivate microphone features. i.e. If I am listening to spotify on my lap top I need to set them to Audio only hence no call capability , so if I get a call via skype , teams, etc ... I can not use them unless I enable back the mic in which case I need disconnect and reconnect the H9s in order for the changes to work. Again , sound quality and build are amazing, but they are awful at handling BT connections. I own a Bose quiet link which are 2 years old , they are On Ear with no ANC cheap plastic and poor quality PU leather ( replaced cups twice already) but even though they are cheap and modest in most aspects they are flawless in handling BT connections. Any comment or advice to improve BT connection for the H9s other buying a third party BT dongle as suggested by BO customer support ???
I am sorry to see you are having this issue. I have not tried to connect to my laptop and phone at the same time. I will try that and get back to you. In the mean time You can try adjusting setting for your Bluetooth on your laptop and phone.
B&O support is a joke - spend another $100 for a BT adapter, but no solution for the failed BT connection to iPhone 11. Upgrade of their app has taken my pair of $500 wireless headphones (that I’ve only had for 2.5 years) and made them wired headphones. B&O hasn’t offered any solution, they don’t offer repairs, it’s a joke.
Greetings!. Are you still using these headphones? If so, have you noticed any disadvantages? Have you tried headphones with a cable amplifier, e.g. IFI DAC?
Hi....nice vid By the way does the power button switch rattle on your device. I bought mine Yesterday and the power switch keeps wobbling and rattling.....i was wondering if it is only my pairs or are all of them like this
Hello, Fellow owner of the H9 3s here, wanted to know whether a dac or amp would improve the audio experience or is the impedance too low for any noticeable effect to be observed? considering headphones are turned off and running through 3.5mm. Thank you!
I have used them with the Syba USB Amp DAC combo. It sounds amazing in Bluetooth mode and connected to the Amp DAC. They are very easy to drive. I keep my volume around 5 out of 100. I personally use them in both ways. Doing A B comparison I did notice using my Syba at similar volumes the bass is more impactful using and it also tighter. I listen to some Metal, Rap, Big Band, and Classical all on TH-cam and Amazon Music using my laptop as the source to reduce variables as much as possible. I think it worth getting even a cheap Amp DAC combo to experience it.
@@ReviewsAboutAnything Thanks for the input. After noticing that my Thinkpad’s BT was much cleaner and louder than both the iPhone X < iPad Pro , I borrowed the FiiO Q5 from a friend and the headphones finally had it’s breath of fresh air. Until I decide on the dac/amp I need, will be running them turned off and through the 3.5mm.
@@archier589 I did notice that my Samsung Note 10 Plus sounds better then my iPhone 11. I am happy I could help. Fiio makes good stuff. I also like FX for budget amps and dacs.
They work very good on airplanes. I have worn them for eight and nine hour flights without issue. I did take them off a few times during the flight. I can say I have worn them for five hours straight problem free. I have not tried the Bose or Sony for noise canceling. I have seen they are the best at this so id you want the best noise canceling on the market those might be a better pick. On the other hand if you want solid nose canceling and great sound quality then these are great.
Suh-wheeeet . I love the fact you listen to METAL !!! YESSSS !!! I have a pair of Bowers and Wilkins px7. I love them but I'm leaving them With my mother . So I'll need a pair daily drivers . Thank you for your reviews
For the record there's the H9 3rd gens that just came out not too long ago. Nice video, a bit long but very in depth so I can appreciate it.
Thank you for the comment. I will keep that in mind for my future videos.
